Only thing i didnt know about was the rear view mirror dimming im glad u showed us how it works now cause i run into so many people that get behind me with their high beams on and it drives me nuts
That's really not a new feature as all cars have it. Even my very first car (1977 Datsun 200SX) had that. It's not dimming the light per se, but changing the reflection of what you see in the mirror. You can even manually adjust the mirror to any angle and get the same effect.
Another great feature that I learned about with my Civic is the auto high beams. It's a pain to have to activate them by pulling back and holding the high beams on for 30+ seconds, but it helps not having to switch high beams off and on whenever cars are coming at you in the oncoming lane and you don't wanna highbeam someone.
Honestly you added everything I wanted to know. I don’t usually comment on videos, like at all, but I want you to know you made a very informative video. Great job!
Golly Chris, I'm learning so much from you! Thank you! I'll be test driving my fk7 tmw. I'm just thrilled that I'll already know what to do, as I'm pretty sure I'll be taking it home with me😅 🤙
I just watched a portion of your type R wing installation; you really shouldn’t be using power tools. That was quite a display, YIKES! Thanks for the tips on the infotainment settings.
Hello. Check out my video that I posted on the channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AjPWL4wS8RY.html The link should be in the description.
87 is the minimum you could put on these cars and it should be fine. 91 is recommended if you want to get the most out of the engine. Expect to get 26/32mpg or even higher depending on how you drive.
Hey Chris I love the sport trim with the dual center mounted exhaust I just got a civic hatchback but in the EX trim but I want that sport exhaust look do you know if that’s achievable or not because of the spare tire well. Also love this channel because it gives me so many ideas to do on my car
I have the 18” EX model as well sadly is not easy looking for a good exhaust for our model I think there’s one with the dual exhaust with the EX model but they deleted the mufflers and welded some pipes and relocated the tips to the center it wouldn’t be a good air flow but it looks way better than stock
@@luismuniz6500 yeah I seen people modify their exhaust they like go around the spare wheel weld and then the tips are in the center but not all exhaust shops can do that. I really want my EX to have that center exhaust😕
i beleive its the one thats programmed to your car. just like it wont unlock, if you are using someone elses kry fob. my roommate has the same car and color as me, and his keyfob wont unlock my car.
I have a question, if anyone can help me, I changed the color to purple, and since then, my home screen app have turned white, and I have no idea how to turn it back dark again!
Putting the buttons back on the key fob is a pain in the fucking ass, wish Honda would fix the problem. The small plastic pieces break easy on the fob.
"When I first got this car, I didn't know the mirror had a night mode." Bruh. Hate to break it to you, but this feature is pretty standard on cars. Chances are, multiple cars you've driven have this standard feature.
Hey Chris its me again, sry man don't mind me it's just my 2 cents. Legit, I did learn few tricks from your vids so props to you and how passionate you are about your ride. Ride with Pride bro :)
Hey man. I'm glad I was able to help. Always great to hear feedback from viewers of the channel. It allows me to know what I should change so it will make a better viewing experience for you all. Much appreciated!✌
My husband found your video. We just bought a Civic Hatchback this week, and I am just LOVING it! Thanks so much for providing this info...great stuff! Looking forward to viewing your other videos. What part of PA are you in? I used to live in Harrisburg area many years ago and still have family back there.
Hey, im not sure if you already went over this in another video or not but if you rotate the long button (that switches your trip A and B) it will actually lower the overall brightness of the tachometer.
Just got my honda civic sport 2021 3 days ago, I am so excited to do all the mods u did to your car to mine lol I am learning a lot with you bro!!! Keep it up!!
What about the intro video? I hear, when u first turn on the car, there’s a short video that can pop up on the audio screen. ( I’ve seen a guy put iron man Jarvis that welcomes you to your car )
Hi Chris, just bought my 2021 Civic Sport Hatch last week! enjoying it so far. Great videos! Please keep them coming. How do you enjoy the aftermarket Spoiler so far? Was thinking about getting one for mines.
Congrats on the purchase! The spoiler I put on mine slightly wobbles at around 60mph and above. But since installing, I've put almost 5k miles on the car and it's holding up pretty well. Looks really nice on the car imo. But honestly if you have the money, get a much higher end wing. 😀 I have plans on changing my wing in the future ✌
@@dabaydestrian437 The new redesign civic is ugly imo. Just my thoughts on it tho. Somebody else opinion might be different from me. Saw a 2022 model of the Civics, just not my style. Looks kinda old school.
I’ve had my 2020 civic si since December 2019 and I didn’t know half this stuff like the window roll down and the background stuff imma try it all in the morning!
Im really surprised you didn't know about the rear view mirror. Just about every car has one of those standard. Even my first car which was a 1998 Accord had those. I want to upgrade to an auto dimming rear view mirror In the future. And that car also had the windows going down feature. And my current second car has the rolling down future also. It's a 2003 accord coupe. Some of this just seems weird to me that you didn't know they had this on older models but I guess It makes sense since you owned a BMW before so you had no way of knowing.
I've had my '19 Si for a month and apparently have only been using about 50% of the computer features. So now I've found out it's got a fully equipped smart computer, can get 40mpg, and will still kick an Infinitis ass in a street race? Yeah, no buyers remorse here.
Still wondering how you manage to get 40 mpg in the Si. I used to get 28-29 mpg completely stock. Did a muffler delete and cold air intake and now I get 23 mpg and on a good day I hit 24 mpg.
@@jovtecxtv1321I get 42 mph. Don’t drive too aggressively for acceleration and ensure oil level is correct and oil quality good. Air filter clean! I have 89k miles. Full synthetic changed oil weight to 5w30
Thank you! Just bought a Civic Ex 2021 - only 9000 miles, but no owner's manual. The battery-less start trick could be a life saver during the winter here in New England.
I really dislike the display. It is just burning battery life. Who needs wallpaper and flashing lights everywhere? Smh. No nav system transfer from phone to car, which would at least be functional.
Weird, you have physical buttons and a volume knob on your infotainment screen. My gen 10 has touch buttons. And your rear view mirror isn't Auto-dimming. And while the keyfob controls windows fine, i can't remote start the car. Australia differences i guess
How can I get my music to show up on my head display when I Bluetooth from my phone. It currently doesn't say name of song , band or album. I use a third party app called "free music". Can I get all info on head unit ?
