Huge W. Last time I took a 15 hour flight, I was serenaded by the inane arguments and questions of two small children who were watching the same episode of Paw Patrol for the entire flight. No, they did not know the concept of an indoor voice. They fell asleep 20 minutes before the plane landed and then cried loudly the entire time their parents dragged them off the plane.
as a filipino living in the philippines, i should've known that the majority of your struggles happened in our airport 😭 if its any comfort, its definitely not the best experience even for us here
We had our flight delayed 3 times at weird ass intervals short enough for us to think "oh we can just wait", but in total we were in the airport for 9 hours. That was an amazingly bad experience.
i swear i could listen to a podcast made by you for hours- it could literally be you talking about anything in the world and i would still listen. i would never go back to the philippines by myself fshjfkhsd but i'm happy you survived
Same thing happened to me in a way but on my way back to the states. I was 18 at the time. I have family in France. When I was heading home, I asked the lady at the luggage check exactly where to go and what to do. I was told that I would pick up my luggage at the carousel and that it would NOT transfer to my layover flight. Whelp, it did transfer without me needing to grab it, and so I waited and missed my flight. I had to stay in the Chicago airport overnight til I got a new flight back to AZ. Fun times.
When we need you, you returned. I didn't know that you were Filipino but it's kinda cool seeing other Filipino creators that I like (I'm half Filipino btw) Filipino Gang represent!
Question, as someone who's a hapa (half Asian half white, but east asian) I was wondering how someone looks Filipino or not? Cause while I could see she looked a little mixed, I thought she was Filipino. Is it the eyes?? What is it?? Lol
BIG UPS for doing your first trip to the phils solo! The smell and heat/humidity slaps you in the face when you step off the plane before it finally embraces you. Hope you had a good time
What did I do to prompt the algorithm to send this beautiful, hilarious, whip-smart young lady and her amazing performance video to my attention this fine evening?! My weekend is made! I’m SUBSCRIBING!!
9:10 Actually my mom has scoliosis and she's been having trouble breathing lately, We didn't think it had anything to do with her condition. now we do. Thanks aisha really
My "favorite" thing to do in the car is to flip through the channels with the nifty thumb roller on my steering wheel at speeds comparable to those paranormal activity radio listener things
I had a similar experience with TSA traveling alone when I was 14 for a 21 hour long flight. The TSA asked me if I packed my bag myself-and I'm 14 so ofc not and so when I said no, they assumed I was a drug mule or some shit so they took my passport and warned me not to use phones and made me sit in this room for like 2 hours
My me and my parents have taken flights from the US to Nicaragua multiple times and I’m so surprised nothing went wrong during those flights 😭. I think it was more stressful flying to another US state than to a whole other country lmao
I was "randomly" selected to have my carry-on bag screened for explosives every time I flew internationally for about 5 years(I only flew once a year). It got to the point where I would start laughing when I was selected...which probably didn't help. I got to thinking: Do I look like a mad scientist or something? I thought about getting a white lab coat and safety goggles to wear to the airport, because...hell, I might as well look the part. I was also questioned at the Toronto airport(for what seemed forever) by a customs agent...when I was just changing planes in Toronto when heading to Europe. Where do I work, what do I do there, how long have I worked there...on and on. Next time you fly internationally, be sure to watch a marathon of "Locked Up Abroad" or "UK Border Force" before flying...just in case you don't have enough irrational fears.
Lol, also don’t have cable, you are now my news source, along with a variety of other youtubers. Also, getchu a friend like that, there for ya when nobody else is. 3:40
I just did a solo trip and had some of the same things happen. Somehow the airport in Guatemala has no wifi after you go through customs. I had no idea and no transportation arranged.. It was an interesting experience
i have a not-as-long-but-still-long-flight of 12 hours in april i dont have scoliosis but my meniscus kill me if i keep my knee in one spot for too long i'm 30 and have flown before, it will be the first time i fly alone though fun times all around
