Just a quick correction on the usage of the Return skill on "B". It won't take you to the closest waypoint, it takes you to the closest town (Kastleton, Starlight Tower, Vienta Village, The castle, the oasis, Canina Village, Purelight Tower, and Watchers Post - I may have forgotten one...).
@@nicoopieeif you want to level up faster? Would be the only benefit. But a benefit that's awesome if you're playing just to get to max and do end game. If you want to explore the world and take your time.. obviously less important to anyone.
@@aka-stavy3926exactly! Honestly even if you want to explore i would recommend using the kastler salad because even if you are overleveled while roaming the world you still have to complete the story and events etc. Basically if you like feeling op during the leveling it is worth using.
@nicoopiee Alts done share the storage box do they? If not. Exp buff is only good till level cap. Now, does the xp buff work with your weapon skill levels? Cause if it does, the exp food is good for the entirety.
It is only for your character not your weapon level. So once you reach 50 it becomes useless. Just make a few at a time and u will not waste resources.
Ignore his advice about the amitoi healing you….the world tree leaves are ridiculously cheap and for many reasons you’re going to want to be getting healed as fast as possible most of the time in the future…setting it to 95 and even 100 is fine.
Biggest tip, don't cap out your resources, by resources I mean dimensional contract tokens, abyssal contract tokens, and resistance contracts. You don't have to dump them all on one day, but don't let them cap so you don't lose out on time gated resources.
You mention at the end (thank you by the way), gameplay/Amitoi recovery.....mine is not highlighted. I CANNOT change the setting. Is there something I need to activate to make this part functional?
Is it better to create a new character if wanting to use a different weapon set since it's so hard to level them? Wouldnt I get MSQ back which gives the bulk of exp or am I missing something?
I found a purple gear but not the exact piece I need for my build. Leveling up and using it or waiting for the exact gear with my blue gear equipped is the right way?
It depends... If it's better than your current blue you can totally transfer your blue into it and start leveling it up. Once the purple piece you want drops you can transfer the growth from the old purple you've leveled up into the new purple at 100% efficiency. The reason I say "it depends" is because if you do move from the blue to the "bad" purple you probably won't want to invest in unlocking or upgrading traits on it since (a) it's expensive to do traits on purples, and (b) they will be lost when you xfer it into your ideal piece. If you keep using the blue it might be worth traiting it since while they'll still be lost when you xfer, it's way cheaper to trait the blue and the traited blue might actually be better than an untrained purple (especially for armour and accessories, the base damage increase from purple weapons is pretty good even without traits). Another thing to consider could be how much your purple item would be worth on the AH as either a trait extraction or Litho. If it's only going to be a temporary item you use for a week or two but you could sell it for 5000 Lucent you might want to do that. Hope that helps!
most of the content creators just pingpong information from each other...I even saw a short that literally copied verbatim what Kanon said about P2W "pick your poison" (the most prominent T&L youtuber atm) and most of those are just data gathered from unofficial discord channels of games...its pretty easy to scour thru the information w/o having to watch CC's
Ok, big question. I've heard lock in your weapons so many times, but say, i get to 50, and i want swap is it easier to make a new character or skill swap (after using everything).
I heard you should not do the contracts until level 50. The contract point system is interesting. Also I heard you should not open the chests at the end of coop dungeons under level 50. There's a point system to open these chests and it's important to get all pieces of gear you need in end game to have a lot of those tokens. Do coop dungeons for XP and fun but don't open chests until level 50. Thats just a couple things I have heard while watching videos
@fredfreddy7220 He's saying TFD is free, has nice graphics, lots to learn and can be enjoyed without spending.. which is true. Not saying the gameplay is the same but go off bud.
Transfer servers to get growth books..after the 17th you'll have to pay for server trans..I think you get 5 books per server something like 60ish yotal
You should make a poll of which game was more fun at launch throne and liberty or first Decedent obviously can’t compare the gameplay being they are in different genres as for me I really enjoyed first descendant but here I’m going to have to say throne & liberty
@@DrybearGamers they’re dirt cheap I have thousands why would I not use them leveling? Hell I have to for the battle pass. Good video it’s okay to be wrong on something
None of the Tl channels talk about Main hand offhand. How that works.. offhand used for a ‘backup’ weapon? Buffs and stuff. Or sleep, stealth etc. Soo the first weapon u choose should be the weapon u want to uses the most??? Main hand. Pls someone explain…. lol
A lot of offhand skills will hopefully compliment your main hand skills. It's almost 50/50 use except that the weapon you have on at the time has buffs based on mastery. You can press a button to switch weapon while in combat to utilise those buffs depending on what you want to do, but that's like...later down the line when you know wtf you're doing and your build inside out. It goes deep...
If you go to your character sheet, you can pick which weapon you put as your main hand. What this will do is it will level up the mastery faster for that weapon. Your offhand receives less mastery EXP👍 this according to several videos.
There really isn't a "main hand" you can swap between which one is out (basically only affects your auto attacks and some masteries). You can use any skill from either weapon set you have equipped (including the block).
Ive heard some ppl reccomd to skip contracts until lvl 50. Is this due to daily limit? If you get 10 a day you shouldn't cap out before 50. I did contracts lvling and haven't capped yet
So people realy seems to just paroting the gear exp transfert like green item 6 > into blue instantly. Thing is that i did a few trash but should be enough math about that based on one video i saw a guy talking about that and thats just insane how a waste of a ressource it is. Apparently the best way to sink previous gear exp in the next one it to level up it first naturaly and then on the later level you sink the exp. To be more clear, should be something like that. Blue max level is 9 and if you sink in green gear lv6, your blue one will get instant lv3, and then you use weapon gem to level it to max. Thin is that apparently there doesnt seems to have a diminishing return on gear transfer t meaning that you get +3 level no matter what BUT the later level of gear cost WAAAAAAAAAY more because it require most gem everytime. So basicaly you level up your bleu gear up to 7 and then sink in the green and you get the last 3 level for free. leveling a blue gear to max level is if only hitting 40% 1.5 but thats obviously not realist, so the real gem use should be around 80 from 0 to 9 But just the last 3 level cost half if not more of that, meaning that you can eco around 40 gem which would allow you to level up your second weapon a lot by doing this and then use the same strat ! So apparently this strat is legit and if anyone good in math wanna try to do proper calcul on this feel free
Tried that, you get less experience into the blue if you level the blue up before transfer. It's only and 300% exp increase when the weapon hasn't been upgraded
@@allensmith8613 I mean i did see videos of dude doing like i said and i went with the math and it seems to check out, what i explain make you eco around 40 stone so
Hi, i am kinda new. Im level 50 and got my first purple sword. Didnt upgraded any level yet. So my question is, how should i level up my weapon? Should i directly try to using growthstones in to this purple sword? Or should i get any green sword and upgrade it then level transfer it into a fresh any blue sword. And then max the blue again and trans fer into the purple?
Signs of a great game, Unless you revise all vids and then you must do this , this and this in this exact way you are doing it wrong. What ever happened to player skill rather than use this meta or you are screwed. Just saying 🙂
When my green item is max level it disappeared from the transfer list, only items that are not maxed out can be used but maxed out items vanish? I’ve spent so much time levelling for it to go? Anyone know what is going on?
If it's maxed out it won't appear in the initial transfer window because that's where you pick the weapon to receive the xp (and it can't receive xp since it's maxed) If it isn't appearing in the second menu where you pick the weapon to destroy, you probably still have the weapon equipped, you can't transfer equipped weapons into another weapons. Also, if you have set up multiple gear loadouts, you'll need to unequip it from all of them.
Be careful about maxing out your Green Gear and Weapons to Level 6. You can transfer to blue at Lvl 5, but it looses it's ability to be transfered to Blue if it hits lvl 6... Really wish I was told this....
this is not true all my green 6's i have been able to transfer. just select the item you want to transfer onto and you will see the lvl6 green as an option on the right hand side options inventory.
If you enjoy the game, why not find some like minded gamers to join/make a guild with that suits a more 'realistic' lifestyle. Dont let the no lives steal your hobby
Hey man, just keep playing if you enjoy playing. We’re only a week into this, this new min max culture is ruining the essence of these games. It’s the long game that’s more enjoyable, this content will be around 3 months from now too. Try not to worry about keeping up with all the people that make this their life, that’s what takes the fun out of it. Most people I click on in the world are still level 20-30 and I haven’t even hit 50 yet. I’m ranked 33rd on the server for kills at level 37, there will be your time just put in the hours you’re able.
Ultimately the gearing system made me quit. To get lithograph, you have to get the drop... to get an epic drop is 2-10% chance and dungeons are limited to 3 runs a day for loot. The auction house is literally pay to win 100% you have to spend irl money to buy shit in the AH. don't play this game if your looking for a good free to play experience. Leveling was fun. Endgame is absolutely dogshit. Dont waste your time. You're welcome.
lol nah. it’s probably the best mmo release we’ve gotten in a minute in terms of graphics and gameplay. but calling this the “best we’ve had” is pretty sad 😂 shows how bad the mmo scene is rn. we need something good to sink time into. FFXIV and WoW are boring now. Used to be sucked into ffxiv for a long time but got repetitive
@@_N4VE_ its good dont get me wrong but the healing in this game is the worst healing ive ever experienced u cant even heal your whole team in pvp only people from your group and you get like 2 good healing spells
And go back to the aging WOW or play deserted New World? Or be stuck with online tinder thats Final Fantasy? Bro's hating on a game that's he's not required to play. 😂 TL is rough around the edges, movement feels clunky but this is fresh and so far I'm enjoying it. Not gonna say it's awesome one week on release. Hopefully they can fine tune this game in the future so we have more viable MMOs.
@@DrybearGamers A few, i’d say FFXIV community is way less toxic as far as an MMO, this game is being enjoyed most right now by people that are about to never log back in - like after new world hype train. Thanks for great content
