Few things I’ve noticed that weren’t included are: 1. Selector switches will actually move and show what fire mode you are in, no matter the weapon 2. If you pick up a magazine off the ground that fits your gun but looks different from the one you already have (such as a MK18 magazine when you’re using an M4) the model of the magazine will use the model for the other gun (the one you picked up) when you get to that magazine 3. If you pick up a magazine off the ground, however many rounds were left is how many you get. I’ve picked up many magazines that are empty or almost empty when I was hoping for at least a few rounds
something i noticed while playing around in the shooting range is that if the observer is calling in fire support while being heavily suppressed, control may not hear them correctly and ask them to repeat the order, and it can happen multiple times on the same quiery
When I first got this game, one thing I immediately noticed is how disturbing the death rattles are. Especially the one where it sounds like the female soldier is grunting violently as she desperately tries to stay alive.
That's one of the things I love about the game - the voice acting makes this ten times more real to me than other games just by making the people in it sound like humans.
The ability to communicate with enemy AI is detailed well enough that it makes me wonder if it wasn't originally going to be featured in the cut campaign as some sort of feature that would be useful in a blind raid.
It more as decreases damage because if I was standing next to someone laying on grenade it'll still kill me so best if everyone lies down while a grenade goes off if someone wants to sacrifice themselves to decrease more damage done to teammates.
It will be really cool if the dev can actually make u really feel like your deaf for example, A guy is shooting his gun very close to you on your left/right side.then that left/right side audio will be disabled.
Then there's this: if you've got an M4A1 carbine in your hands and you run out of ammo, (we can pick up stores with weapons with a phea caliber) and next to the MK18, picking up a magazine from MK18, the character will be inserted into the M4A1 magazine with a light brown texture, the same works in the back side - it's cool, as for me. Excuse me for english.
Username601 “OH MY GOD THE BREAD GOT BIGGER WHEN YOU PUNCH IT!!!!! UNREALISTIC ENVIROMENT!!!!! GAME IS UNPLAYABLE!!!!!! OH MY GOD THE DEVS BETTER FIX THIS!!!!”
this is a detail that is absolutely insane that they have it. When reloading an ar style rifle with a round in the chamber you have to give the mag another smack to make sure it is seated properly as the bolt is closed(3:16). Whereas when you reload when there are no rounds in the chamber and mag is empty, the mag seats much easier and there is no reason to smack the mag a second time as the bolt is open(3:25). Something that makes you realize the devs actually have firearm experience.
maybe its just in the uk but the whole mag slap is very much discouraged, if anything slapping it about is more likely to cause a round to dislodge that to make sure it fits.
Another detail you can add in the next detail compilation that I just recently found out after 1000 hours in the game is that shooting someone in the flesh versus clothing has different blood effects. Shooting someone in the leg or stomach will show blood bleeding through the fabric and will increase in radius if shot multiple times staining the clothes red. Holes directly into flesh or skull will have a more splattered appearance. Incredible details. Try it on someone wearing a white t-shirt for best clarity.
lol I found out all of this stuff when I was in the practice mode killing AI enemies. I have like 500 hours but im only level 275, ive spent at least 100 hours in the practice map killing AI lmao
Shell casings. Nobody seem to care about them but they are really well detailed, they match their caliber and they interact with the world and textures, they also stay for about 5 or more seconds and this is very pleasing to see them especially when compared to other games. They are very realistic even for limited amount of time and that makes the game better.
Really, the only thing I'm a bit put off about this game in terms of art style and graphics is your operators look like they havent eaten for a week, or theyre college nerds that are given guns, they all just look so thin and spindly, especially visible in some Insurgent character models and your arm in the first person viewmodel, you can barely see any muscle. I know that in the middle eastern setting, some of the soldiers may be suffering like that, but that doesnt mean that everyone, even the foreign advisors, are that spindly looking.
I get where you're coming from. But if you check out actual combat footage, you see that buff guys are so rare and even the special ops operators are thin. That is because the war is more about stamina than the strenght. Warfighters are lean, not built.
A great detail that i personally liked was when you wear a gas mask, the voicelines get muffled and unintelligable to your teammates to thats a great detail
One thing wrong I didn't notice before: The slide catch/LRBHO shouldn't work if you fire the chambered round without a magazine (14:12) these systems are dependent on the follower of the empty magazine to function. Edit: Unless manually activated by the user, which doesn't appear to be the case here.
On the staged reloads, the bolt and slide shouldn't even be locked back since there's no magazine to hold it. Would have been nicer if there were animations for empty chamber reloads like racking the slide and pulling the charging handle.
Yeah if there was a mag in when it ran empty, than the bolt stays back. It doesn’t slam toward just because you put away your gun without a magazine in it
You guys don't get it. When you *remove* the magazine halfway through a reload, yeah it still has the bullet in the chamber. Shoot it, it goes bang, bolt cycles but it won't lock back anymore because the mag was already removed. That mag is what actuates the bolt catch to catch the bolt. No mag, no bolt lock. Unless you lock it yourself. At that point you have an empty gun. Put a fresh mag in and that's when you have to charge the bolt/slide again because it was empty.
11:05 the graffiti in this game is kinda a let down compared to realism of the previous game. In this game it's mostly just stupid memes and caricatures while the original game has authentic Saddam murals everywhere and Iraqi propaganda.
One small detail I'd like to add is that when reloading the RPG-7 the character actually cocks the hammer back. For everyone not familiar: RPG-7's basically function like a western double action revolver where you have to cock back the hammer manually. The rocket then is ignited when the trigger is pulled so the hammer naps back and hits the primer on the rocket.
When you fire weapons like your MAAWS and deplete your ammo for your other guns, you will lose weight and move faster Same happens if you say, pick up and RPG off the ground, it'll slow you down. This is different from Insurgency 2014, you can pack nothing but a pistol or small SMG to your operator, then pick up an RPK or an RPG and still move very quickly.
When a realistic game does realistic things(insurgency Sandstorm) When a game tries to be realistic but fails(MW 2019) BRUH AT WHEN IT FIRST LAUNCHED IT WAS BROKEN AS HELL AND USED 100+ GB >:(
The different fast reloads based on the remaing amount of bullets is a mind blowing thing most games don't bother with at all. But it makes a lot of sense when you think about it.
The obvious one is if your under fire your character will be more tensed and will sway his gun a bit more and if hes out of breath after running for a long time
@@kurabiyecnv- one more thing. The longer you run the less faster your character gets as he pants he loses stamina and can’t run as fast at the start. The more heavy the more stamina is used. The more stamina is used to slower he gets as he runs. Like in real life if you were to run for a long time you’ll slow down
The first thing though, he's kicking a door in with the hinges facing outward. I wish the doors had simpler hinges, or there was an animation to shoot out the hings first. You can potentially break a leg if you try to kick in a door with it's hinges facing you.
Seriosly dude, this game is good not because its amazing high quality product with more effort put in than any other AAA poop, but because it has graffiti, ragdoll animations, and TVs that blow up when you shoot them...
If you look closely when customizing appearance and load out your soldier will randomly scratch their bum when standing there awhile seriously though scratching an itch realistic situations in this game
there are a few mistakes in the things the develpers do to make the game realistic. first of all the gas mask in smoke grenades. you will not cough in smoke. also you are deaf for the rest of the day on one ear if you rapidly shoot a g82. the bolt catch wont work aswell when no mag inserted. its the magazine that operates the bolt catch lever.
Dude to be honest and just my opinion I wouldn't even waist my time with modern warfare and also own sandstorm and find myself still playing it way more and thats cuz they just did another update making the file like 260gz I was like no thanks uninstall
Some of your "INSANE Details" are kinda...weird ngl. The 3rd and 4th aren't "INSANE" 9 is understandable, you're using ammo and taking the weight off your body
another cool thing is if you find the mk18 on the ground with a magazine in it and take it and reload that magazine into your gun it will actually have the same tan color magazine the mk18 comes with. I was pretty suprised when i found that detail. Especially since i was using the L85A2 and was wondering why i had a tan magazine in it lol
One nice thing to point out is around detail number 4. Not exactly related to it but more on the sound design. Observe closely when he does the speed reload(where he drops the magazine), compare the dropping of a partially/full magazine to an empty one. They sound different, it's more noticeable with the M45 magazine in this clip. Further note, when killing enemies, their weapon makes a sound when dropped. Overall I am super amazed by this game and never doubted buying it full-priced.
@@esplooze I'm well above all the minimum specs and run the game on the lowest settings, still hitches and runs like shit. It's the game. Or more specifically, the terrible engine they chose to build the game on.
Jellyfrosh Lmao you probably have like 2gigs of vram. I play the game smoothly with like 4 gigabytes of vram and i have no fucking idea what are you talking about. Go sell your fucking toaster bro. (Or maybe thats your hdd issue. Go check your pc anyways because when i had a laptop with 2gigabytes i played the game at the lowest settings smoothly enough)
