Welcome to Factholic and today let’s look at some of the largest spiders in movies. So without further ado, let’s get em straight! Music: / @co.agmusic
Why does everytime he finishes one he sounds like he's about to say something else but just stops and goes on to the next one. It feels like when someone types a comma at the end of their sentences,
For those who keep asking about Scylla, the 2019 Godzilla monster. It’s not a spider at all and was not meant to be. The only spider monster in Godzilla has been Kumonga and it is shown in this list. On another large distinction; Scylla clearly has only 6 legs, not 8 legs.
Scylla is a cephalopod. Which are basically Octopi and Squid, Nautilidae and Ammonites. Bit odd considering the only tentacles Scylla has come out of its mouth, and it has a crablike six-legged body, but apparently it has the internal biology of a squid and is both a land and aquatic kaiju. So it is basically a giant squid-crab.
@@bctc5966 Hexapodidae (6-legged Crab), not spider. Not only in keeping with the aquatic creatures, Scylla also only has 6 legs. Ammonite definitely, Squid is kinda redundant since an Ammonite is basically already a squid (with the shell). So Hexapodidae (no claws though) + Ammonite.
Chunhua Du That’s not a spider. That’s an arachnid that isn’t in the spider family called Mother Long Legs. Didn’t you see her pincer-like arms which in fact spiders don’t have them? Plus, they don’t spin webs.
Mother longlegs “ am I a joke to you “ Godzilla : “Hahahahaha . Oh wait your serious. Let me laugh harder. “ HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA Kumong : ha sucks to be you I’m number 1!
the 1955 one was the scariest, it looked more real than any cgi one and its movements and the fact that you can hear how it comes closer and closer is the most terrifying thing ever.
@Alex doucette 1) Criticism is not the same as "being mean" or "poking fun". 2) In fact, ironically (as usual for simps) *you're* the one being mean considering in defense of criticism to some dude you don't even know and who doesn't give a single shit about you, you decide to tell people to shut up due to low sub counts (as if the people making these comments are content creators trying to get subs). 3) The fact that this guy has nearly 16k subs now, he should probably put some quality into his work. Maybe he'll get more subs. If he was smart he'd take criticism and tell people like *you* to shut up, since your type does him no good and causes him to continue to be bad at editing and the like, or at least be content with it. In other words, nothing about what you said is helpful - it's detrimental to quality by contributing to no change, which screws you over in the end as well, let alone everyone else (including Factholic in the long run). All in your short sighted attempt to white knight, Douchette. ...Unfortunate thing is, you'll probably read this and instead of being like "Damn...he kind of has a point" you're likely just gonna get all offended and shit like everyone else in this spoiled age and miss the message entirely. Makes me wonder if all you little chumps really look in the mirror and think to yourselves "Yessss...perrrfect".
I saw everything okay other people and I always thought komonga was a girl OTHER CHARACTERS FOR OTHER FILMS OR SHOW THEY LOOK LIKE A GIRL BUT THEY ARE A BOY AHHHHH
Pretty interesting that the 1955 b-classic Tarantula with the projected picture of real spider is much more realistic and believable and fits into the movie's world than most of those "modern" and "advanced" CGI ridiculousness. Honestly, only Eight Legged Freaks had good-looking giant spiders of actual giant spiders movies (meaning except Aragog and te Shelob)
It's because he gets facts wrong when recording and is bad at editing and correcting himself. If he misses something, he haphazardly cuts it out. Example - 6:22 during the #4 Giant Spider listing he comments on how tall she is, and almost says "50 feet", but then cut the number out and still left the crappy edit. You can hear just enough to know he says fifty though.
Yeah I may have posted this a couple times. Couldn't help it, lots of different posts about this guy's editing. I don't hate the channel or anything though, but this may be the first thing I posted on his vids, sadly.
@@kosmickosm771 neither of those are real they are from movies not to mention that even things that go from someones head are real, racism also exists in the heads of people and is a thing by itself so....
Jindřich Sander no I mean the character was imagining the spider where as these spiders are real. I know these are movies so please dont insult my intelligence I was just saying that in the film Enemy the spider at the end is being imagined by Adam Bell which is a character acted by Jake Gyllenhaal I cant believe I actually have to explain this Jesus Christ
As someone with very extreme arachnophobia (I freak out over the tiniest spiders and sometimes cry a little ) these films are worse than really bad horror movies but that makes them fun
Spiders used to be the vocal FEAR in all movies. Spiders are of course horrifying and would eat a person if large enoughnand when they made Itsy Bitsy it was horrifying that they were still a relevant fear.
"Big ass spider", from big ass spider. Very accurate description, lmao. These monster movies don't have very creative names. For people arguing over Scylla in monsterverse: Scylla is a crustacean, not spider.
when i ws a kid i used to capture spider put them in a modified match box and take them out and make them fight other spiders and after watching a movie where the spider grew bigger over time to the size of a house i stopped, i don't remember what movie it was but it gave me arachnophobia
