The LMP1 demo from the 77th Goodwood Members' Meeting really was a fan favourite. With stars such as the Bentley Speed 8, 6.0-litre V8 Panoz LMP-1 Roadster-S and Peugeot 908 HDi FAP lapping the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, the noise, as you can imagine, was biblical.
With #81MM just around the corner, it's the perfect time to relive this incredible demo. We think the Can-Am demo will surely rival this for breaking the sound barrier though.

I saw a Demorun from the R10 TDI on Norisring. Never saw a Car so fast and so silent. It was impressive. But I agree. Motorsport need loud noise 😎

@@brakelateracing727 *eficient Diesel engines are so great in long runs because uses less parts and gets more controled combustions, thats why trucks and heavy duty trucks, as well of Dakar rally cars uses diesel engines.

Depends on driver skill. For instance the Nissan R92, Minolta Toyota, and the Sauber C9 group C cars are blazing fast, but extremely difficult to drive. Once mastered they're unbeatable imo.
