Not sure if anyone else has said this yet, but I believe the reason for splatoon not hiring hideki is because hideki wants ownership of any songs he makes for games, and nintendo being nintendo there's no way in hell they'd ever go for that

I didn't follow it that closely but before Splatoon 3 was announced hideki said a triple a company approached him about doing a game soundtrack but he declined because of what I said, he wants to own what he makes. Again, didn't follow it super closely but some people were theorizing that this could be a new Splatoon game, and considering this was a year or two ago, that timeline fits the theory pretty good.

really funny detail on the last one: Riptide Rupture (S2 song by Ink Theory) has a segment that sounds EXACTLY like Death By Glamour's intro. The songs have completely different BPM and Tempo so you have to spped up or slow down one of them to make it audible but it's DEFINITELY there.
Actually, the reason Nintendo didn't hire Hideki Naganuma for Splatoon is because Hideki wanted the deal to be that he'd own the rights to those songs, not Nintendo. I believe he makes that deal with any studio he works with.

Here's a extremely useles bit of info: when you're using the normal roller, whenever you swing it, the controller vibrates. If you activate the big bubbler not having released ZR, the roller will swing and the controller will vibrate. However, if you run out of ink while pressing ZR and you activate bubbler making the roller swing, the controller will not vibrate whatsoever. This will only work if you activate once your ink tank has emptied. If you try it with even 1% of ink, the controller will vibrate.
heres some real top tier useless splatoon information: the stairs in the splatoon 3 lobby are numbered 1-15, except they used 13 twice instead of using 14

In case there is a third video, more Splatoon references in other media: In the Gakkou Gurashi! manga there is a scene where the protagonists go to an appartment that has a Wii U as well as another consoles and shortly after you can see them playing "Splaquia" which has an almost identical title screen as the original Splatoon
The thing with the shops that play music that cannot be entered was in Splatoon 1 and Splatoon 2 as well. I’m not sure why you were acting like it was a new thing. In splatoon 1 the train station played music and in splatoon 2 you can hear music in various places.
I'd like to add that Hagglefish market is visible in the bay below Crableg capital and vise versa. Also you can see the destroyed statue from Octo expansion on Hammerhead Bridge. (Not sure if you put these in the previous video or not)
