If you find any of the Anchor Bay 20th Century Fox blu rays, you struck gold....I have them all...Airheads, Dutch, The Pick Up Artist, Silver Streak, The Star Chamber, Lucas, License To Drive, Bad Girls, Jumpin Jack Flash, The Scout, Black Knight, Bedazzled, Drive Me Crazy...Some other blu rays worth some money are Ernest Scared Stupid, Action Jackson, Tightrope, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Desk Set, Striptease, The Taking Of Beverly Hills, Diggstown, Celtic Pride, Cocoon, So I Married An Axe Murderer, Screwballs, ... DVDs that werent mentioned that are going for big bucks are Modern Problems, Ernest Rides Again, Only The Lonely, Eight Days A Week, All I Wanna Do, Blow Dry, Prayers For The Rollerboys, Blow Away(1993) , Cheerleader Camp(1988), Carpool, House Arrest(1996), The Vanishing(1993), Downtown(1990)

On the flip side of this, I don't know what sort of distribution rights are on this movie, but there could be some sort of new release due to the upcoming movie. Something to keep an eye out for as it gets closer to this movie being released.

44 minutes is a weird one that i got in a free box of movies that i was about to put in the trade-in pile, ended up selling for around $20. also the blu ray of dont be a menace while drinking your juice in the hood. great video

Funny story - I actually saw Sling Blade in the thrift store a week or so ago (I remember because the voice always plays in your head). I just watched this video during dinner and drove over to the store - still there! Strangely enough, right next to it was the 28 Days/Weeks Later double pack!

@moparguy86 yeah I got the blu ray of Airheads when it first came out and its crazy how expensive that is now...I.got all those Anchor Bay Fox titles blu rays when they came out and they are all going for big bucks, especially Lucas(1986)...I also got the PCU Airheads DVD aswell

Anchor Bay,mainly early 2000s releases, early 2000s Miramax, early 2000s MGM, pretty much early 2000s releases of movies that have big stars but aren't movies you've really heard of, dramas/suspense especially, the reason so many early 2000s was that's around the time DVD started getting popular so studios issued a lot of catalog titles on DVD and since they weren't big hits they didn't get re-released or even a Blu Ray release. Also of course Criterion, Acorn, BBC.

It's literally just a short that was released as a pack in with another Tinkerbell movie I think. No idea why it commands such a price other than scarcity. I doubt Giada De Laurentiis fans are that crazy lol.

I clicked this video knowing I’d know most of them and it was funny seeing one of my sold listings for The Chase up there too. I’ve sold so many copies of Sling Blade at this point. I even found a sealed copy of the Bluray at a yard sale and I said “yes. I’ll pay the $5.”

I’ve actually sold a Blu-ray copy of the Chipmunk Adventure. It sold super quick and for over $100. Occasionally someone will upload it to RU-vid but the people that own the copyright will get it taken down very quickly. I’m always on the hunt for it now.

I bought a whole bunch of estate sale stuff and was delighted to find one of my favorite movies - Dogma in a special edition box. Score! Except... I opened it up, and of the 3 disc set, only the bonus DVD was present. 🤬 You can't find that movie on any of the streaming services because, short answer, Harvey Weinstein. The same is true of a lot of Miramax releases.

Thank you. It's probably the built in "beauty" setting on my Sony camera. Gives a slight blurring effect. My skin is pretty bad usually but I try not to film if I'm all broken out.

I just found a bunch of super cheap DVDs at a garage sale, picked up around 30 (mostly horror). If I was smart I would've just bought them all (there were probably around 200), not for reselling but for the collection for when I finally get rid of all the crappy streaming services that are no longer worthwhile.

Im a movie/physical media nut and can just tell if something is worth money. I know all the labels and keep a memory of out of print titles. If you have to scan everything it is your phones specialty. Not yours

Im not sure paying $2-3 for a dvd/bluray then selling it on feebay for $20 is all that worthwhile after shipping cost and fees. So you made like $10.50 after initial investment, shipping, fees? Plus your time and gas. That is if you sell it and it doesnt sit online. Now I can see if you have a bunch of dvd/bluray to make it worth your time then!

You would be finding other things while at the thrift hopefully. Just going to look for a handful of DVDs wouldn't be smart but an extra 10 bucks on top of any other finds is great if you ask me.

Honestly, a $10 profit on a $2 investment after shipping costs, as I always charge shipping, is very solid and a good business model, assuming you're selling multiple per day

Buyers are usually looking for something specific for their collection. Most of them are not interested in digging through thrift stores with zero guarantee it will ever show up. They want to buy it online and have it shipped to them. The online listings have to come from somewhere.
