Dugbogs - If you levioso them while charging tongue and get them to levitate for a second, follow it up with diffindo (the slice) and it will cut off their tongue and insta-kill them. Dugbogs are one of the more annoying enemies in the game so this is a life - and time - saver. Also, 1 billion in gold? Juice, you filthy cheater! haha
Note: there is a third hard counter to dugbogs, if you use levioso on them to pull thier tounges and then cut them with diffindo it kills them near instantly.
using the transofrmation spell you can turn random animals (not the capturable ones but stuff like cows and goats) into diverse stuff, including gold purses (I think it also applies to random interactive objects)
Not sure if I missed this during the broom riding tutorial but the game doesnt tell you that your boost meter DOESNT deplete when flying low to the ground. Handy when traversing the world map.
Did you know in the main menu when picking your character in the background it starts out plain then when you gain things it starts to look full in the background
It also continuously changes as you progress through the game as well. So certain things, like the vivarium, won't be in the early main menu screen, but it will be in the later ones. The golden snitch and Deeks will sometimes appear as well and there will be stuff that will reflect what season you're in as well.
I think people are not giving the dangerous plants enough credit. I literally could just use a mandrake and killed the entire small camp of ppl in seconds. Cabbages are great too…I barely needs to use my spell if I don’t want to. I am just scavenging around camps for items now so that makes makes the “fight” a lot quicker..literally in seconds.
I found a shiny unicorn during the quest where you rescue “hazel the unicorn”. I thought the shiny was the one for the quest until I ran into the quest unicorn 😅
I found the platforming for merlin trials. I've seen people falling and having to repeat them... but you can do these on your broom. Just touch the top of the pillar and move to the next while flying. Easy peasy
@@Phanthief95 I've done every single one like this, I haven't had any issues yet. Just follow the pattern right and don't fly below the pillars. Just float above them.
Not all allow that, it seems they thought of people doing this for some and forgot to apply whatever stops you from activating the pillars to all of them, this definitely wasn't intended, I thought it was funny when I did it for one of them and I tried to do it for all of them but some don't click that your on them, funny enough those are the ones you can't land on
2 other things I found helpful was to use the illusion charm to get near to the beast and then use aresto momentum to freeze them, then you easily have enough time to capture any beast :)
You're wrong about chests. Any chest that gives you a legendary item can give you an item up to 3 levels higher than your current. All the way until you hit level cap. I was constantly pulling higher level stuff as I explored. Another time-saving broom tip: you can land in deep water and go directly into swimming. Makes getting to dive spots (little whirlpools in various places) much easier.
@@MandalorianRevan Yes, that works like a charm.. jumping in the water from the broom above swirling water and then jumping onto your broom from the water.. I've used it a lot.
I love this game so much. I’m on the verge of tears when I have to go to bed and then work. Never have I ever wanted to play a game so bad, except perhaps for RDR2.
My inner child had a perma grin on her face for the first few days of playing the game, it was like her dreams came true just getting to run around Hogwarts, even if it was through a video game 🥰
Another tip on gear levels: Unidentified gear stats are applied when you identify it, not when you collect it so if you get something that is Unidentified and are close to leveling up then wait to after you level up before identifying it.
I didnt know that you could actually increase your ancient magic, and I assumed players modded it or something and went through the whole game managing the power.
Timed parrying. They never mention it in the tutorials. If you block at just the right time it'll reflect their spell back towards them. Don't conflate this with countering, where you hold protego & follow up with a counter attack stupify. Parrying can't be blocked.
when i play hogwarts legacy i would get npc side quests to find there animals and some of them look different than the normal ones so i would always steal them for myself :)
@@MladenMihajlovic Oh nice, I need to recommend that to a friend of mine, she absolutely hates spiders and she has gotten stuck on a main quest mission b/c of her arachnophobia
It's funny you say golden unicorns are the rarest, that was the first one I actually got, and I just stumbled upon it in the wild, wasn't even trying to catch a unicorn
Well your video started off pretty incorrect due to the game actually telling you that you can view the enemies weaknesses in the book at the start of the game.
For the life of me. I can't figure out how to reverse the broom flying right stick. It should be reversed. Back/down should = up and forward/up should = down
For Nexus Mods’ sake, please read this comment, sir: I’ll bet WB wouldn’t be happy about RU-vid channels publishing game footage with mods and not calling out the fact that they’re mods, like the arachnophobia mod with spiders showing up as boxes. It makes the game look bad, from a publisher perspective. As a game publisher, footage where the character is fighting a dumb looking box probably is going to make them mad, because it misrepresents the experience of the game as it was published. Big corporations do defend against this kind of thing (Bethesda is an exception). So i would advise you not to publish mod footage unless it is clearly marked as modded gameplay. Anything we can do to try and keep WB from coming down on Nexus Mods.
