Why does Netflix have their price so high tho?

The Koreans go for quality, the Americans go for woke.

Since Yoo Ah-in is currently under investigation on drug charges, it is highly likely that the drama he appeared in will not be released.

Yes that rlly bothers me that Netflix wants to be so cheap and refuses to do the traditional 16 episode kdramas. 8 eps is not enough and then they rarely give a S2!

i feel like most kdramas cant keep up the suspense and interest for 16 episodes long. most than repeat plots and its getting boring so i actually like around 12ish episodes. 8 might really be a tad too short

10, 12, 16 or 20 eps, as long as the pace isn't too fast (e.g. Bad & Crazy) or too draggy with many unnecessary / recap scenes (e.g. Extraordinary You). I thought All Of Us Are Dead (12 eps), Strangers From Hell (10 eps), and Mr Queen (20 eps) were all well-paced with good story-telling.

@@danielpolivka7012 I don't agree. He is excellent at showing his emotions and in creating chemistry with the female leads. I also find him quite funny when he wants to be. It's a pity for me that he prefers to star in movies of different genres and keeps away from dramas. It's not only about his good looks at all (in fact I admit that the first time I saw him I didn't find him all that attractive either).

I've worried about studios like Disney (not known for representing authenticity) and Netflix dilduting or Western-izing the real Korean story to be told.

Not all Korean Netflix series are 8 episodes, there are many shows that still do 16 episodes The Glory, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and Behind Your Touch all have full seasons to them.

@@lorineakoth834 there are many free streaming providers like Viki, Kocowa and AsianCrush. And they are available from any country in the world, so I don't really see availability issue. If we continue to support monopolist like Netflix, one day they will control us how they want, because no competition will be there. Just to see what Netflix, Amazon Prime & RU-vid Prime doing now, increasing prices and putting scam ads everywhere

They announced season 2 & 3 At the same time so they will both be finished soon. Season 2 will probably air in 2023 so it isnt on the list i think

😢 koreans dont like him and new kdrama fans dont like him either, i notice he has some new projects but he coproduce them so it means he has to coproduce to be in actual projects because maybe they dont want to cast someone who for many people doesnt know how to act and dont have the looks of a desirable korean man of now a days ( white skin as muscular) whatever , i think i will still watching him for nostalgia and cause i still like him but i think people forget him and doesnt care about him, for many him not being versatile is the problem and they get bored at him
