This means that the three-quarter-ton can carry 3-4 tons, 1 ton, which can carry a ton of stuff. The weight of these trucks weigh more than 3/4 ton and 1 ton
Here's one for you truck nuts that talk about what how much your truck will carry. My 1974 chevy, heavy half came off a scale at a gravel pit with 4300 pounds on it. A 275 6 cyl. 4 speed with granny 1st gear and 8 ply tires. You couldn't even tell there was a load on it. God I miss my old truck.
12:19 "Tokyo Open Country" tires, shows BFG KM3s. Also, the Velociraptor and Goliath are similar, but not the same. You kept showing the Velociraptor when talking about the Goliath. (Big clue: the Goliath wears a [Chevrolet] bowtie on the front, while the Velociraptor name itself tells you it's based on a Ford [Raptor].)
How could someone read out that a three-quarter ton truck weighs that much or a 1 ton weighs one ton without feeling like an idiot???? So you're telling me a 7000 lb truck weighs 2,000 lb!??? 😂
The 1500, 2500 and 3500 were originally called these based on their weight hauling capacity back in the day. The numbers just stuck with them as the years went on. Obviously they can haul a lot more nowadays and they definitely weigh more than that😂
Incorrect information on here about the Ram heavy duty, "The 2500 which weighs 3/4 of a ton and the 3500 which weighs 1 ton" no way lol! A 3500 Ram weighs about 7,300 pounds, not 1 ton or (2,000 pounds), a 4-cylinder Nissan Versa weighs 1 ton for reference. The 1 ton is a description from back in the 70's of what the trucks "used" to be able to haul as far as weight in the bed of the truck, not the weight of the vehicle itself.
I really cannot believe my ears! You said the Ram 2500 weighs 3/4 ton and the 3500 weighs a ton! You must be a REAL EXPERT on TRUCKS!!! Do your research! Those are the LOAD RATINGS! Their curb weight is about TWICE THEIR LOAD RATINGS!!!
Three quarter ton means it can carry 3/4 ton, one ton things that can carry 1 ton. Those trucks weigh a lot more than 3/4 ton and 1 ton I promise you that
Still wrong. My 2015 2500HD has a payload of 3,227 lbs and can be optioned to a max of just under 3,600lbs. Thats more than 1.75 tons. The current 2020 3500HD can carry a staggering 4572lbs if optioned correctly. Thats 2.25 tons! You correct in that they weigh much more than stated. LOL My 2500 is roughly 7,000lbs with me in it and a full tank of fuel.
Badmünky I think tonnage was from back in the day when they could only take what weight was stated, and they just kept the idea even though all trucks developed to handle more weight
@@BadmunkyWRX I had an 81 El Camino that couldn't carry more than 400 lbs in the back. I put some cheap air-lift bags inside the rear coils. Then I was able to pull a 3000 Lb trailer with a 4,400 Lb car and had two v8's in the bed. No problem. The elco had a nice, high compression 383 with a turbo 400. Still had car suspension since it's better for racing than leaf springs.
That Mercedes AMG with a 500HP engine "would make the entire industry to think about performace car"?... Dodge already have a 707HP and 1000HP Turbocharged engines on his Dodge line, not the Germans
Between weight, capacities and wrong manufactures being discussed. Makes you wonder wether they edit these videos or just love to speak out of their ass without being knowledgable of their subjects. Wow.....
Also pronouncing "discerning" as "disconcerting." Um, extremely different meaning Mr. Narrator Dude. I live next to Dubai, and trust me, the car market there is assuredly NOT disconcerting. Also the whole truck weight thing lost me. I didn't even finish the video.
Not even then because they run on fuel and when the pandemic happens there will be no more production of fuel, so basically it's only good for a tops of 3 months and that's tops. Unless you know what your doing and you have all the things you need to produce your own fuel, but that's highly unlikely, so might as well stick with a electric bike so you can scavenge solar panels, then you'll have a more reliable source of transportation but no safety.
I just watched a video produced last year on the Devel Sixteen supercar. It was a completely finished beta test car prior to production. So they are out there.
Dude, a 1 ton dually from dodge weighs nearly 5 tons. C'mon man, do your research after listening to that part makes me doubt the other shit. Not to mention Mil-Spec takes military surplus vehicles and rebuild them from the ground up, Hummer's been under for years.
Lol....had me until 7 minutes in and then I realized...the person that made this is completely clueless! The Ram heavy duty 2500 weighs 3/4 of a ton!?!?! Lol...thats hysterical 🤣 what country is this from???
"Doesn't even glow under bright light", next 10 seconds shows the car reflecting every light. "a fridge that comes with a bottle of champagne ánd 2 glasses", shows 4 glasses. At that point I had had enough of the errors
