I think it's fine, soothing actually. If you believe in a personal god then you may not like it. But computers and machines are in the end highly wrought nature, and imho the spirit of the universe is everywhere, even in science and technology.
Signs and symbols have every religion and faith, because with one symbol you can say many things, the symbols speak stories, keep knowledge for those who know their meaning. The problem comes again from the christians-they worship, prey to the cross, they think the power comes from the tool. You can hear them to say "this icon is more powerful from another" or "the icon cried, makes wonders". I believe them, it very possible, but they don't know why that's happen. The idols work in that way - every tool can be idol, you put from your living godly soul power to the tool, in ancient times people knew how to make almost living human using this technique. But you are the power, not the tool/ the idol, you as very godly being and creator, the Creator is living in you and you in Him.
