Before starting this exercise i want to say this is great tutorial as always . Perspective is very important topic in art and illustration. Cannot wait to start this !!!Many thanks
Thank you for giving me a "different perspective" on drawing digital perspective.😅 All so thank you for reminding me to overlap. It would be nice to see captions of quick command keys while learning lesson I sometimes have too look away from your lesson to find keys but that may just be my learning curve. But your doing an excellent job.👌 I've learned a lot.
10:00 You don't need to copy paste the lines like that. Use direct selection tool, drag the point and then hold alt before releasing the point. The key is to hold alt while moving the point, not holding the alt before clicking on the point.
Dude, I swear to God. I 've told you this before. But damn you the best! Your tutorials are the best on this platform. Where did you learn all this? It seems like you over 35/40 so I am not surprised. Also, I can't a tutorial from you on how to make custom textures and realistic illustrations.
Haha thank you 🤓 I’m not 35/40 🙄 I think I’m blessed to have a gift of sharing knowledge and this gives me power to explore. I feel it strongly thanks to people like you, who want to grow and learn... Thank you again. Custom textures and realistic illustrations - ok, will do ❤️
Hi! You can watch 9 ways to add texture, 3 types of masking, Opacity mask tutorial and Guy on a scooter. I explain masking there 🧐 Thank you so much for your feedback ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the tutorial. Can you do one about creating depth perspective. For example the inside of a kitchen. How to move the perspective grid to be able to work on the back panels instead of the front. Thanks in advance
Hey :) Why did you choose that format of perspective grid? Can you be creative with perspective grid, or are there limitations? How did you draw that cat in perspective?
Hi, Igor! 1. One point perspective. The easiest to explain how it works, this is why 😉 2. Of course you can. Take a look how I draw sketch using this grid. You always need it to draw a cityscape or else. 3. Cat is just a cat, you can drop perspective for humans and animals in a big scene like this.
Thank you! In the sketch phase, before coloring, is there any way to make lines have random lineweight to make it look more hand drawn and less "sterile" sorry for my english. Great great tutorial! 🥰
Thank you 🙏 Yes, sure! You have full control on lines in vector. Random- don’t think so, but manually- yes. Look what you can do with your lines in the Effect menu. You have a few options to roughen and distort lines there.
Good video! Hopefully one day you'll elaborate on why using the perspective grid tool is not as helpful as your method shown in this video. Hopefully!!!
Hi! It’s simple. First of all create the same perspective grid as I did, but with perspective grid tool. Second: I speak as an illustrator. You really don’t need it at all. Only for some design, but not for illustrations, my friend. To understand it completely - create a few illustrations with perspective. And what would you like to use? Fast method with your own hands and imagination OR a few standard perspective grid tool setups? Perspective is not just a few types in perspective options panel. Thank you for feedback, my friend! And also thank you for watching and asking good question 👍
Why did you have to expand appearance at 16:50 ? Wouldn't be the same even without? But the real question is: how you come up with such cool methods to solve problems in Illustrator? Overlapping and then dividing the whole project?! I would never ever have tried! Every time I experiment a new method invented by myself 50% of the times everything disappears (or change places randomly, which is even worse), Illustrator crash and the macbook explode. You are great
Let it crash and explode, man! First of all thank you. Answering your question no 1: try not to expand and see how you’ll make copies next. Then expand and you’ll see how it’s easier to make copies (because they will snap to each other). Question no2: always stay tuned to what you want to do. Watch streams, tutorials, overviews. Think about combinations. Let it crash. Work, draw, think about it all the time. As John Coltrane said: ‘there’s fun in being serious’ ❤️
How did you go from rough sketching to a clean sketch? Is there a setting for that or did you just redo it after the rough one on a new layer? Btw, amazing video!
Please teacher make a guide video on logo design, social media template design, image to vector trace, how to make shiny realistic and custom gradients..with 2- 6 colors..or may be 8.
Hi! Thank you for your warm feedback, my friend! Sorry, but I don't make any logo or vector trace or any design :D But you will find everything about how to create illustrations here! Enjoy creating ;)
Hi! This is just a theory speaking. Simply repeat what I did with points in Ai. Create grid and then drag central anchor points 😉 I can explain more about the horizon line in next videos about perspective 👋
@@tt_tutorials BTW your coloring tuts are awesome I never manage to get cool looking colors in illustrator ...is there any plugin for getting awesome color swatches ...also your color swatches are great is there any way to download those great stuff all at once from your store
I think I’ll make them available for download in the future by making a pack. No plugins. Experiment, search for color combinations in google, look how people use colors etc. this is all about practice and experience. I mean, search for plugins also if you want, I just share my thoughts.
