Role models are boring to a lost generation today's parents are very different than before. No Prayers are on this disrespectful, not seeing old age Gen, no guidance etc.
Most of time it be they ratchet Mama lying on they Daddy, when the dad was really trying to be in a child's life but their mom made it impossible! Facts 💯 but the child don't know the real situation, he just know what his mama's blabbering mouth told him
I love that this young man was open in this conversation. His delivery showed that he's hurting and wants a relationship with his father. I hope they all find their paths and stay in the right lane.
I felt him. I had anger issues growing up in my teen years when I realized. Took me some years to forgive him . Best blessing for me to forgive him it freed me from my hate issues.
Our young black boys are hurting and filled with so much anger and pain, they need some guidance from real men Bad!!! This is where so many men can start within the community instead of all this passport mess and gender wars. These young men need help!
@@godsson1110 Men who think like you is the problem lol. Sad because you try to shift blame on the mother. A man needs to be present in his child’s life period! The accountability factor lies with both parents
THIS is one of the best videos to date. I wrote my dissertation on juvenile Justice Delinquency and Recidivism. I pray that these young men find their way and make positive contributions to society. Your words of wisdom are heartfelt.
The fact that you wrote a dissertation, one of the most challenging projects ever, proves that people like you, rather than Josiah "Josie" the Peasy Cat, should get all the shine. You had to generate and contribute brand new knowledge on your own. Most people cannot do that. They do not dare try to understand that process. Salute to you. I hate how great people are overlooked.
I can’t lie, this interview brought me to TEARS. Please, men, be there for these kids. They need you. We need you. I’m somebody’s child & i resonate with this child’s feelings 100%. I’m still hurting & lost @ 25. It took me a while to stop being ANGRY. God bless you boys!! Y’all can do it. Chick til a is a GREAT first job. It was mine.
This is heartbreaking. Parents cannot continue making kids and just releasing them to the streets. I pray that he gets back into school, I hope that they don’t use any more drugs than they’re already doing, and I pray that they find much needed guidance. Thank you for taking the time to talk to these young men.
I hope that this young man’s daddy see this video, Because as a parent we’re far from prefect and sometimes we need to sit there and listen to these youngins because their feelings are valid. We’re raising the next generation. I can see the pain and sadness in his eyes and the constant playing with his hair is comforting to him😢 my little brother used to do that when he was sad. This was a great interview Marcus ❤❤
Man. Get ur GED and get a barber license and you’re on within a year. RU-vid has no age limit. Create content. These days there are unlimited ways to make it without scamming and taking. You can even join the military at 17. Gotta want it tho. Don’t wait too long.
@@smileearthlings.829 It actually means General Education Development and is equivalent to a high school diploma. However, getting a GED is still a possible solution. It’s better to provide options rather than telling them what won’t work. Obviously they aren’t on their way to a high school diploma. What other options do they HAVE? Im sure they’ve already been told what they CAN’T do. What alternative routes can they take NOW? Before it’s too late. Please provide an alternative resource. Ok I will provide another one. Job Corps. ANYTHING BUT THE STREETS.
@ronaldmurphy394 They can work during school, and schools offers those the types of programs. You told them to get a G.E.D, which is not recognized as a high school diploma.
@Jupiterterran, I'd say joining job Corp and learning a skill would be far better than the military and all you have to do is find the one nearest to your city. Any job that you can serve hard time for quitting is not the business. The military ain't the move.💯
These kids don't seem that bad. They could be out selling crack and robbing people. They was running a hustle ,but at least they were clever enough to come up with a hussle that ain't gone hurt nobody.
You not lying, these youngster will take that little pistol you have!! And beat your ass if not kill you! Than take your jeep an joy ride the rest day! Or it runs out of gas an they ditch ir! Ijs..
He's being a hypocrite though. He basically scams these people for cheap content, and has the nerve to call these kids out talking about Karma. Kids don't listen to what you say. They watch what you do.
@@demonslayer9905 they do not have mental issues....its what children do when they are lying or not trying to hear what is being said.....if they were adults maybe the case.
Rooting for them the lil boy in black actually seem to have a lot of potential first thing he said is how he wanted a job he just need someone to properly guide him
Great interview and I hope these boys take the good advice and apply it to their young lives. I seriously would hate to hear them ending up in jail or worse. I'm wishing them all good luck and hoping they can build hugh success in the future. Take care young fellows, the world could be yours one day only if u do great and positive things to claim it. 😊👌🏽💯😉
Man i really want to see them make it and get money in a legal way and stay out of jail.this is the age that they need to be steered in the right direction. Most my friends just sold drugs and stayed in jail i want these kids to do right as if they was my kids.
What's funny, these kids out here hungry without food and clothes People need to go out and help them I see them so if they rob someone then what cause they need food, clothes and shoes It's bullies out here lurking
@@DeniseBailey-gc1tw scamming is a form of robbing someone.....its just not physical. And yes there are kids out here starving and need clothes yet you dont see them scamming or physically robbing. The ones you looking at here ARE NOT THOSE KIDS
@user-uk3kb6ij7v that basketball scam is down here in Texas heavy. Can't even shop without teenagers standing outside begging. Won't even look you in the eye when they ask either. Just twisting their hair looking down mumbling smh
Well while y’all speak negative, I speak life over these young men I pray that God uses them in spite of their situation and issues in Jesus name I pray , and I seal it in his blood Amen 🙏🏾 🔥
No offense, but their too young to have teeth that yellow. Their parents didn't teach them anything about oral care cause that take years to happen. Especially the bare minimum of brushing their teeth. Brushing their teeth alone without flossing & mouth washing won't cause yellow teeth. It's also a reflection of their parents hygiene.
At 55 years old I never thought I would hear young kids say to us old heads, "I have it harder than ya'll had it back in the days." It used to be the opposite way around. That's how we know the world as it's made up today is going backwards and breaking down.
Marcus, you were speaking some hella good sh*t to those boys, but unfortunately sad to say, I bet everything you said to them, went in 1 ear and out the other!
Nah man, the simple fact that they are responding with "No Sir and Yes Sir" speaks volumes. They just need someone to put them on game. Not the BS game but the game that will show them the way to navigate through this thing called life. 😉😉
Yes because conversations are just that. Children need things instilled in them, which means gradually over time. The only way to help our youth is to be there consistently. Which is why these parents are failing these children. Programs, mentors and spending time will help, not a conversation.
Where, who are going to hire them these jobs hire based on appearance and experience like wtf I was just working and they treated me like a criminal for eating a nugget
What's wrong with there appearance ? They aren't dressed crazy or sagging. Or do you really mean nobody is going to hire them because they're young and black because most jobs people get as a teen doesn't take experience. You don't need experience to work at McDonald's.
@@divineintervention212appearance is more than just clothing. Their first job will most likely involve customer engagement. Who wants to hire niggas that are just going to mumble and play with their hair the entire shift? 😂
I hope that a seed was planted in at least one of these young men and at least one of them heeds Marcus's advice in order to make better decisions with better outcomes for themselves and that they realize that they have the power to break free from generational cycles.
I have nothing but respect for this young man. He knows how to express himself in front of his friends. Y’all look out for this young man. He has a bright future. He just need the proper guidance
But like he told you Marcus "sometimes ain't no talking to him" He understands his dad doesn't have what it takes to recieve it. All parents aren't emotionally healthy. Bless his heart. Stole his damn pants and don't do nothing for him.Pissed! Hope he's a better man.
They look like babies so cute 🥰 they need to go get jobs and then after high school military or law enforcement they are not bad kids they still have innocence in them I can’t figure why teen boys don’t like to brush that’s how you know they still babies who need direction love and confidence
You all had the drive to get out there and figure out a way to make money. You got the flyer and got the ball and everything. Trust me when I say that you are half way there! You just have to find a way to go legitimate. Create a goal, like starting a clothing line for lack of better example, start a job, then launch the line? Hit the streets and hustle your brand. You got the tools young bloods.
Great advice, Marcus. These kids need programs for education, job skills, money management, etc. They all have a good chance with the proper guidance💞💞..THEY NEED HUGS AND LOVE..
This is why it is so important for women to marry a good, decent man BEFORE they get pregnant. This kid admits that his dad does not like to work and stays posted on the block all day. Im sure his mother knew that when she was sleeping with him! Time to stop blaming everything on absent dad and make mom take responsibility for her failure to choose a decent father as well.
Your comment is somewhat conflicting. I agree with marriage before pregnancy however, their are lots of married men who walk out on their wife and kids everyday who appeared to be “good men”. Stop victim blaming women. Married or not… a MAN should ALWAYS be actively involved with his child/children
@@user-jy9gb5pi1tfacts stop making excuses I’m sure mom life or head wasn’t wrapped tight hence why she chose the man she did but chose to stay in the child life
He's yearning for his fathers love. These young men should be in school. I'm afraid if they get money it will be used foolishly. Lord these young men need guidance and love.
No wander the kids in the position.........we expect them to know right away.........with no guidance.......but yet the grown ass mf yall have compassion for.
I really really pray someone intervene… I don’t want these guys to fall into the wrong crowd … this is the start of gang culture … young guys out with no guidance… Father a deadbeat … nothing to turn to but the streets. Unless they have something or someone intervene… GOD HELP THESE YOUNG GUYS PLEASE!!! I see so many come in the judicial system … started at there ages
We need more mentoring programs for these young black boys/men. It’s slick a state of emergency type issue. All of those black celebrities in ATL. Someone has to have a mentoring program to help them. And I’m not talking a once-per-month mentoring program. I’m talking weekly.
I started working at 15 with a workers permit, @Mcdonalds. I havent heard about any changes with teens wanting to work and the state keeping them from employment a 16 bc *"they dont do that no moe."*
All the language patterns need to be cleaned up, almost need translations and closed captions. LOL. JK, maybe not. Marcus I promise you need a mentorship program. Glad you talked to them. They have to move differently and clean up the BS, language, clothes, and presentation, everything. I know they are just hanging out, but they are out there like that. I grew up in the hood but come on, face it; folks will pay you less or not hire you based on all of the above; or more. I worked since I was 14 too. TJ is my Godson's name.
when i was they age, my dad wasn't in my life he actually lost me in a movie theatre at 4 ! i felt the same way at this age , resentment , hurt, abandonment , betrayal, I was hurt and I'm still hurt and angry til this very day but one thing I can say is that my dad has been missing for 15 years and not the type of missing like out of my own life but out of everyone life that ever knew him, he was in his 30s so of course no one cares that a grown man is missing but being at the age of 31 now and having my own kids ik how hard this can get being a parent, I've forgave my father and actually miss what ik from him and i love him... we all have our things that make us who we are but hey young men the interview man is right, i wish i had guidance id be somewhere different
@@MarylnBowan-vg7te yea it’s been 15 plus years no one in his family has heard from him , so most likely he’s dead… one thing i remember from him tho before he went missing is that he was shit 10+ times and survived right before he was missing , maybe that has something to do with it
I'm a bit disturbed by the comments. These kids are being very respectful and well mannered. Yes Sir and No Sir is how they're responding to questions. They aren't sagging their pants or wearing their clothes sloppily. They're well groomed. They were scamming ,but it's innocent scamming. They ain't sticking up banks or anything crazy that may hurt someone. It actually shows entrepreneurial skills and creativity is in their spirit in my opinion. Yet most of these comments make it sound like these kids are gang bangers, thugs and drug dealers. I'm also seeing people talking about their families failed them. Seems like to me who ever raised them raised some industrious respect young men.I know future menaces to society when I see them and these ain't them. Y'all need to stop that💩 . If we're labeling young black boys in a stereotypical manner unwarranted the world also will. These kids are good kids from everything I've seen. Also to the people saying they should be in school just look at the surroundings. Street lights are coming on. It doesn't start to get dark in Atlanta until around 8:30 pm in Atlanta this time of year. Schools been out..😌 💯
I started working in my grandparents barbecue restaurant at 15 years old. During the summer's I drove to Charleston, SC which was 45 minutes away to bus tables at a hotel for school clothes. My dad brought me a Lincoln Continental when I was 16, I was working ever since. Where there's a will their definitely is away.
This generation is lazy and these rappers make it worse these kids want fast money. Thsy need to see more positive things tv shows are different just terrible
Most of these young men, grow up to be a pattern of their father's behavior. Black men let's do better and black women be selective who you're allowing to plant seeds in you. We have to do better as a community. This is so sad and continues to happen.
I hope all of them get jobs and for the young man with the Bogus triflin father Focus on you working and finishing school. It's your Future that Counts, Good Luck and Best Wishes to you All
They could get a banner made or sponsored to actually convince ppl to donate to their studio. There’s so many pedestrians in ATL who are creatives and will support that.
Yeah sir my daughter came to me last year and said mom our we rich I was like huh?😳 then she said u have your own office and job and we can go anywhere we want we don't act rich I said exactly still gotta hustle shout out to Nipsey hustle
They Cannot work even at McDonald’s at the age of 15 in Atlanta you have to be 16. Also they can only work after school hours whether they are in school or not.
