177 days left until my trip, so excited! I like watching these to hype me up even though I've still got a ways to go til I'm there.

If anyone is on the fence about doing a solo trip... DO IT! I've done 2 solo trips so far. Incredible experience 😍😍

Thank you for highlighting that it’s important not to tie all of your happiness based on one thing! My family went to Disney last summer, my family’s first trip and my second trip (I hadn’t been since 2004, and had been dreaming of Disney for almost 20 years!). I was soooo looking forward to RotR during our HS day, and sadly that day it was broken down until almost 5pm. By the time it came back online there was literally a 3+ hour wait! I was disappointed, but otherwise perhaps would not have ridden Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway- which ended up being my family’s favorite!! ❤️

Star Tours is a must ride for us every trip to Hollywood Studios - usually multiple times.

About VQ and dining reservations! My last trip I had scored a Space 220 reservation last minute, but while I was in Epcot the next morning, I got a notification that I had gotten in Cosmic Rewind’s virtual queue- for the same time as my reservation! I was so worried, but I talked to the folks outside Space 220 and they let me know that I was all good. Since I had told them, they could notify… whoever’s in charge of all that… and I could enjoy Cosmic Rewind during my window. They said it happens all the time! So yeah, if you read this and this happens to you, don’t worry! You’re all good. Just figured I’d throw that out there :)

Here’s one I’d argue to not have a regret: doing anything that’ll delay you’re entrance. If you have a phone bank, eyeglass case I’d phone, take them out of our backpack/purse/pocket and hold them out as you head through the scanners. Mom had wanted to see the ropedrop ceremony but missed out on it because she left the phone bank and sunglasses case in her backpack.

Best options for chargers and cables is to use Anker brand.

A note on Virtual queues. We went to the MK on Saturday, I tried the 7 am queue and it filled up in less than a second. At 1 pm, we hit that Virtual Queue with no issues and rode the Tron coaster around 6:45 that evening! I refuse to pay for a single lightning lane.

"Not bringing your whole family". Where it is so much fun going with your family, solo trips are A M A Z I N G and I would strongly recommend doing this. I'm going on my second solo trip next January 😍

I agree with the charger thing I can’t live without my phone I’m always on my phone so much so every time I travel to Disney I never forget my charger

Here at Shanghai Disneyland there are phone charger vending machines all over the place that you can rent for roughly 20 cents an hour. It’s such a god send, you can carry them anywhere. If you accidentally take it home it’ll charge you roughly $60 automatically.

If table service is a priority for you then go for it , BUT , there are such great snacks and you will have so much more park time. That's just my preference though.

I am so excited for Tiana’s - she is my favorite! For my Tiana trip I am thinking park hoppers, that way if I don’t get in on the first time I can try try again. Also contemplating a deluxe/moderate split stay - with the Deluxe stay coinciding with MK extra magic hours. I am crazy and determined. 😂

We usually roll in with 4k to play with and don’t care what it costs, if you want that little treat or toy just get it. We’ve never spent more than 500 of that but not caring about money is such a relief.

Two months till my trip - I always have my soar electronic cords and chargers and suck in a bag specifically for my phone, camera and GoPro and a spare portable charger - strictly for travel so I never move or forget anything for my electronics - may be helpful to have a bag for travel

We went in August 2021 for our son’s birthday (his first trip). It was 102° outside and they were requiring people to wear masks. I thought we would all drop dead from the heat. We are going back in January so hopefully it will be a more pleasant experience.

According to our travel agent, I can’t link my park ticket or magic band because we’re not staying at a Disney hotel. We have to wait til we’re physically in the park and go to guest services. Everything’s in my mom’s phone. Now I have to use her phone to do genie plus. (since we’ll have to do that before entering) Does this make ANY sense??🥺
