15 Rumi Poems in English 

MADNESS, This madness, this drunkness, And this forgetfulness, is Love and of Love, Here I come to the tavern, I took the wine and fill this cup, In my frenzy I dance in madness, I know it hurts others and rightly so, But my Love has no end, no beginning, As I took the garment of my Beloved, And in ultimate joy I praise Him. My journey of Love took me to a place, It looked quite strange and so unfamiliar, But still I had to go through it, To meet my Friend, My Beloved there, So, I took my voyage, to ferry the ship, To that unknown place though strange, But I know my Beloved will find me there, To hold and enlace me as His own, Thus I grab His garment, And tie it to a single knot of Love, I will not let it lose or slip away from my hands, In the recess of my heart, Being a reflection, Holding as a mirror, To see the image, What I see in it is only Love, Love, Love ----- Please give the feedback and reply if you liked it. This a tribute to Rumi. Is it worth considering and I have many such poems and want to print them out.

I am a Roman Catholic but a seeker of knowledge would be blind not to see the true gift of this mans writings. This enlightened man's teachings have touched my life personally.
