Just my opinion, but IT’S NOT A SECRET PASSAGEWAY IF IT HAS VISIBLE HINGES AND A DOOR KNOB!

Sure, but think - statistically, how many doorknobs did you count? Youre bound to guess inaccurately

These "secret" passageways are most likely built for Servants, in order that they can carry out their duties without intruding on the Master's carryings on.

Tunnels under the capital and White House used for trafficking. I will leave it there. Research and if those buildings are destroyed by some act of terror, you will know why. We all have been lied to. Our history scraped. We must learn the truth.

You should take a look at Malta, most villages have EVERY street's houses cellar connected either by passages or simply doorways. Most, but not all,, of them built as protection against the Luftwaffe.

Correction, Louis the 14th was the Sun King, not Louis the 16th. Under Louis the 14th The Palace of Versailles was expanded from a hunting lodge to the Grand Palace that stands now.

The image you show as George W. Vanderbilt ii is that of his nephew, William K. Vanderbilt ii, known as Willie K.

The Petit Trianon was “found?” As if! That doesn’t even qualify as a stretch, since it has been a singularly visible feature of. Versailles since it’s construction.

In the Vanderbilt Estate the room off the Library was actually George Vanderbilt's office. I have seen the room. It has only been opened rarely and has never been renovated. Today it is just an empty room.

And the fact that Anderson Cooper is the Vanderbilt who still owns this Mansion is an absolute riot.

The Roman Empire in the east ended in 1453, when the Turks captured Constantinople. Might as well call it the Byzantine Empire.
