Next time be sure to check out High Tides @ Snack Jacks! It's the oldest restaurant in Flagler Beach, the structure has been there since the 1940s! It's also the only restaurant right on the ocean besides the pier. You guys will love it!
Thanks so much for this video. We will be traveling to Daytona in October. We have been there in the past and just drove through Flagger. Never realized there was so much there to do and see. And btw - hot dog with ketchup is the way to go :)
Definately check south of the pier! Kool Beenz Coffee has the best coffee, smoothies and smoothie bowls in town and Beach Belly Bob' s is next door and has awesome one of a kind sandwiches! You'll go back for more!
There are more ma and pa shops south of pier too. The white Orchid, By the sea cafe, Kool Beenz Coffee, Beach Belly Bob’s, Sunny Nails, Flagler Massage, Dog’s Choice Groomers, Oceanside Beach bar and grill, Beachfront Grill, Martins, The Net by George. Just to name a few.
The irony of this video is, filling in the gaps that I didn't have the chance to fill when I was last there at flaggler beach. Thank you for your input.
You guys should try Break Awayz on your next visit. They're a little north of 100 on A1A and the food is really, really good. Your other video also had a BBQ place. I'd recommend visiting Captain's BBQ. It's further down near Hammock on the Intracoastal, but they have the best BBQ. 🙂
How about the 'Loop Drive' through gorgeous oaks that form a canopy overhead with Spanish Moss hanging down. It is known as being an Ormond Beach must do; but, I believe The Loop starts in Flagler County.
I agree. We actually have a video on the Scenic Loop in our library. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lNyBTTObDJ8.html
Why, oh why. did you miss Hidden Treasure Raw Bar & Grill????? The tasty seafood, the live music, the laid back vibe of the Tiki Bar in the intercoastal.....if you are anywhere near. Flagler, you have to check out Hidden Treasure.
You recommended the Whaam Burger on Flagler Beach. My husband and I tried this burger and we were not impressed with the quality of the burger. You can get a better burger at The Turtle Shack on Flagler Beach; although, it is more expensive.
I lived in Flagler Beach and the water was never warm. Just saying. This is why other beaches are more famous. Englewood Beach is one of the nicest in Florida.
No surfing restriction I've ever heard of, dogs are allowed on the beach North of 10th St N, and South of 10th St. South as i understand those rules ..
Great vid! Ironically came across this vid on the Daytona fb page while visiting Flagler! I am also starting a travel series on my RU-vid channel called “Travel With Diva”, check out the playlist! 🤗✨
Sorry but this post is rather misleading. As are the RU-vid videos created by the chamber of commerce. There’s NO decent hotels here. They’re basically over priced dumps.. that look like crack houses. The only shells that can be found are in the VERY FEW gift shops.. there isn’t any shopping here. The food is good though. That’s about it.
Nothing at all “misleading.” Have some of the businesses featured in the two years since the video was done closed? Yes. But nothing “misleading.” Flagler Beach is a beautiful small town with many mom and pop businesses.
I have to agree. I used to live there for many years and are considering returning. The hotels are not on A1A, unless you are going to the Hammock. You may want to seek lodging on Old Kings Road. Palm Coast is a retirement community for a certain group of people and they want to keep it that way.
@@TheDianelizwilson I know there is a Microtel, Holiday Inn and maybe a Hampton Inn, right there on Old Kings Road and Palm Coast Parkway. There are some shopping centers around the intersection and Palm Coast's oldest Publix supermarket.
