I grew up around Hershey PA, love being so close to it. Knew some of these things about Hershey we took a field trip once to a museum about him and the town.

Many years ago when I lived in Pennsylvania I knew a lady that had worked for Hershey when the Kiss was developed. She told me that the reason they called it the "Kiss" was that when you place it between your teeth and lips with the point facing out and the base (Flat Part) against your teeth it looked like you are puckering your lips to kiss someone.

I’d love it if there was a well written biography of Catherine “Kitty” Hershey. I know she died young but she enjoyed life so much that I hope someone will write a book about her.
