Hey Aluxers, do you have a favorite director? Make sure to join www.alux.com Steven Spielberg: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xGTh6y-wZFo.html Quentin Tarantino: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xzTtXLbu-Og.html
He's my favorite too (at least, for now... he's losing points lately) but i would never wish him to win a shitty oscar. THAT would be unfair for his great talent. He deserve more than that, or rather...he deserved in the past. Lets see if he will recover :)
@@lukehope4484 This movie was another example of a disappointing third act. It was the weakest of the trilogy, but average at best. I've only watched it once or twice in my lifetime and I don't plan on seeing it a third time.
@@dvivek23 bruh not only Dunkirk what about Inception , Intestellar , The Dark Knight triology .......Time , No Time For Caution , Like A Dog Chasing Cars have different fan bases
I don't know if he was critical, because Chris has made plenty of great movies without Hans doing the score, but I see your point. He is and was very important in distinguishing Christopher in a certain way though.
@@littlehollow bruh Nolan has made 10 movies as a director if I'm not wrong and Hans Zimmer has worked in 5 movies which means in half of Christopher Nolan's work Hans Was Included so it is good enough to say that he shaped a part of Nolan's Success......
Actually, he never went to the Film School. He studied English literature. PS: I just want to brag here, but I met him (well technically didn't meet him, just attended his event once) He is one of the greatest personality. He just knows his stuff.
@@devanshuapte8645 Very exciting! I have great respect for Mr. Nolan for being this well respected in the film industry despite him not never attending film school!
@Musa Khan YES! That's good. Now watch it again and again. Then you'll understand and you will see what an amazing masterpiece that movie is. Its SO underrated.. serious. It's so so good
@Rahul Biswas Steven Spielberg gave hits for more than 3 decades....there are many korean directors who gave hits more than decades... British director Alfred Hitchcock gave hits...go and search Steven Spielberg earns more than Nolan.. speilberg even made more films than Nolan..you are foolish to judge Nolan by only 10 films..Nolan is not the best but one of the best...James Cameron gave many hits...he earns more than Nolan..go and search...i hate marvel movies..marvel movies are for children.and yes joker is not my favorite but one of my favourite movies of 2019..in 1993 Steven Spielberg took the risk of making Schindler's list...which was a blockbuster the same year he released jurrasic park...Steven Spielberg earns 5 times more than Nolan...Steven Spielberg changed Hollywood long back from 70s and till now his movies are superhit... bhai na jene al bal Comment koris na...kuwor beng theke jaabi...Nolan is one of the best not best...seta tui chara sobai jaane...and for your kind information.. speilberg ,Kubrick made more variety of movies compared to Nolan...i hope you have common sense to understand that There are better science fiction films than interstellar...infact scientists said that interstellar has many wrong theories...on black hole... You are a total foolish...you don't even know anything about the directors...kotha kar mal re tui? Things that Alux doesn't know about Nolan: Number 1: Jonathan Nolan didn't just "helped" Chris to write Memento, he IS THE ORIGINAL writer of "Memento Mori", that Chris adapted then to movie. Number 2: all this stuff is obvious even for every non-fan of Nolan Number 3: fans doesn't care about how much MONEY Nolan makes with his movies
As for 1 yes. However, technically his brother came up with the concept but did not fully develop it yet. With Jonathan's permission, Nolan decided to make his own version of the screenplay and shared ideas with Jonathan and then Jonathan helped him with those concepts. I think in an interview he said both the movie and Jonathan's novel were published at the same time.
His movies are of different standards . They are unique and of high concept. His movies are more than enough to consider him as one of the best director in the history.
ankit aggarwal making him the greatest director of all time shows how illiterate you are about films..you don't even have idea about films.. your comment shows that..he is one of the greatest not the greatest.
Insomnia. This one is underrated because it is a recreated version of the original Scandinavian film. But because I've never seen the original. Nolan's version is a very good film.
That is just pretentious of him, just like refusing to shoot on digital: I'm sure he lets his assistant take care of calls. And he's also probably a Mac user...
@@elpadrino402 Personally I like to respond with people who dislike Nolan's work with "Just wait until Tenet comes out" (or whatever his next movie is)
Yes, you are right. People say it because they believe it had many plotholes. But I don't think that plotholes make a movie bad. I enjoyed the movie without trying to figure out any plothole. The Dark Knight Rises is a masterpiece.
People throw the word genius around too easily. This man is one of the few people on earth who is a creative genius, he not only directs the movies he also writes them. Think Inception and Interstellar and the most fascinating aspect of his creative work is how a lot of the scientific aspects within the movies are fundamentally sound. It's a shame the general public don't appreciate the research and thought that goes into his movies. Thanks Alux for bringing awareness
Don't forget The Prestige. It was based on a decent novel with the same name but when Nolan translated it into a feature film ,it turned out to be one of the best movies ever made
He is my fav director and probably the celebrity I want to meet the most. His movies have made such a big impact in my life. In fact my favourite movie of all time is the dark knight
My list: (But! I love all his movies. Its hard to rank these movies. I also love the lowest one) - Memento - Inception - Interstellar - Dark Knight - The Prestige - Dunkirk - Batman Begins - Following - Insomnia - Dark Knight Rises Nah... Its too hard. But, Memento is my favourite. Can't wait to see TENET -
Every time I see an alux video...my respect for these people increase, and I literally KILL one of my bad habits (two sometimes). The first time I saw Alux.com was its site since I never watched RU-vid (I watch now for studies), it was 2 years ago. This year in lockdown, I first time got to know that Alux has one YT channel. I love Alux, this is the one thing I'd never leave the internet for.
In my opinion, his best movie is inception. His worst ( if at all) was Insomnia. But how could we forget The Dark Knight or Interstellar or Prestige. Truly deserves an oscar
Alux, can you tell me which of the 15 information you stated in the video about Christopher Nolan I can't find in the internet? This is really just a copy and paste job. Shame on you!
wow he is even worse than me....no cellphone is understandable but no email? seriously??...how did he send that email to netflix ceo then, prob his assistant
