lacoste is the first polo shirt i can remember wearing, when i was 4 or 5 years old, i remember my dad always getting me outfits to match him. and i always wanted to look like him with the little alligator and all.
I received my first pair of Lacoste shoes while visiting Paris, France as a young man, at that age I didn’t really understand what I had on my feet but the experience never forgotten ✊🏾 top tier brand
I collect Lacoste items, and I have to say they out do the other designer brands in quality of design and general quality of their items, my favorite brand by far.
Another brand I love wearing. It’s a brand that symbolise freedom a good taste. It’s very stylish because it’s simple and pure. Also colours are amazing even white is really beautiful to look at. Bright colours reminds you of holiday and weekends. It’s also god thing to wear when you go to executive lounge at Hilton or Marriott.

It's a fake. I see so many knock offs at Goodwill that I just avoid buying them. Even saw a quality fake Gucci shoes lmao. Bought jewellery that had actual gold for a couple dollars.
Really starting to gravitate towards this brand over Ralph Lauren. I recently bought Lacoste sandals ($15), jacket ($115), sports t-shirt ($25), pima cotton v neck t-shirt ($25), and a bath towel ($20). It's only expensive if you buy from their retail store and don't shop around.
When I was younger my mom gave me a buckling of plod but they had a croc on them and my parents told me it was expensive I didn't believe them until now
I always buy Lacoste trainers as I think they are fairly priced . I have a couple of t shirts and a sweater but I think the polos are overpriced (prefer Ralph Lauren polo)
I buy Lacoste and Polo, but I never pay full retail for it. I seldom pay full retail for anything. All Luxury brands are significantly overpriced. Even though Lacoste is over priced they do make a decent product, but as everything is today it was made better back in the day before they outsourced their manufactoring to foreign countries.
The only problem is here in UK the brand has been taken over by chavs and they have overkilled it. As a result some people don’t want to wear them thinking it gives the impression that it’s a cheaper or casual brand which in my opinion is not true but it has happened to quite a few brands like Burberry, Armani, CP company and many many more...sometimes it is very much depended on individual countries how a particular brand been perceived, worn by a group of individuals, class etc. The only way out for brands like these is either to raise the prices so high that only a certain group of people can afford which helps keep the exclusivity of the brand and also make people aspire to it but the only down side to it is that it will effect the sale and especially in this economic situation no company wants to that, but the the other solution to that is make different lines within the brand like Ralph Lauren did with RRL etc in that way, you as a customer have a choice to either go for high end line or the average end.
Serious question I would like an answer to.....Why is it that Lacoste have always been allowed to show their logo on tv/movies but other brands get blurred out.

Lacoste deserve the success she already reached thanks to the creative ideas she invented also she adopt a selective strategy for their clients with the relative high prices which makes only the wealthier can buy her items.
people stop writing about it being too overpriced. its simple to make that people buy their clothing to look richer or well off. if the price is reduced more people will find other brands to feel the same way. no one wants to spend 125 on a polo and have everyone else have it
Funny how the top 10 list didn't include the fact that Renee Lacoste was actually a BLACK MAN although his fair features. Also and more importantly he holds a patent that revolutionized how the game was played in his day. He originated the design for how rackets are still being made today

They are cheaper but when the Lacoste clothes are in the plane going to India , the plane is moving all around and all the shirts , shoes or stuffs will start all moving around and stuff so they will get messy and people will not buy then but since it's cheaper they will , and after they will try fixing the shirt but they will fuck up so you wasted 30 $ / € / £ / ¥ for nothing
Love love Lacoste so far I have 40 shirts since I started collecting them about 2 years ago, if you are going to complain about the price then don’t buy it. Buy something else lol!!
I got my 1st pair of lacoste shoes like 1 or 2 weeks ago, their very nice. And the invoice comes inside a very pretty white envelope with the croc logo and the envelope is textured... i felt as if they said "lets treat costumers well" instead of throwing stuff in a box and push it. Not like i got any wrecked shoes in a bad case, never heappened, but... felt cool. Also, on their webste they have a "points" sistem, im level 1, only made 1 purchase (88euros, i think), it seem ill get some sort of gift on my birthday, the other tiers give you welcome presents, customisable polos and access to limited stuff, i think there are 4 level. Id love to get gifts on my birthday... there are some things i want from there, but not now. Their shoes are not my style tbh, but i wanted white leather shoes (leather because my dc traxe all white get dirty so easily, in the 1st day i used them i stained them... now theur clean but its annoying) and i like the croc alot. at lvl 1 i expect just some discount that i most lickely wont use, but level above gift a belt and a polo, think belt for lvl2 and polo for lvl 3, and wahtever for lvl 4
The product is worth every penny! My LACOSTE polos have lasted for years! In clothing :It is what spend to get the best. In my beginning years of wearing The Polo the price seemed more than now and also set me apart from plain pole wearers! hahaha
I once bought a pair of Lacoste trainers, which were a bit on the expensive side. I take size 9 and bought the continental equivalent, but they were very tight. Couldn't be bothered to return them.

Lacoste deserves the price as long as they dont make clothes and shoes in china or thailand, cheap materials, cheap workers, that is why they have such a big profit, Lacoste is not about quality anymore, just about money.
Even if an item is not really worth its price, keeping prices high keeps its importance and quality high. It’s a marketing strategy. Most people with money like or tend to buy things with a high price.
Keeping the price up can be a good thing look when Ray Ban was bought & the new owners put cheap Ray Bans in all store. It lost its reputation & the company value plummeted. Someone new took over put the price up & it retained its original good glasses company. All the major clothing designer all get their glasses made in Italy by a company called Luxottica Ray Ban, Armani,Prada,Gucci & the list goes on.
