I think echoes of wisdom is approaching if not at my all time favorite zelda game at this point. It was really a step in the right direction and i hope they do more innovative games like it in the future.
You can get the boulder echo during the early main story, it is really useful as a makeshift shield to block a lot of boss attacks(especially projectiles) and you can use it to seal off enemy movement if you’re being surrounded. Essentially the Boulder is a _Solid_ Defense Tool
I just cleared the fourth dungeon, and I love how there isn't necessarily one solution to every puzzle. Definitely one of my top Zelda games I've played. I will absolutely have to try the "drown them in a water block" method, though. It shame most of these strategies probably don't work on the Lynel, though...not that you'd be able to even use him where I am in the game, due to costing 7 units of wand energy.
Some of the monsters are so “not smart” that they can’t find the enemy to kill. That bind trick is a great idea, move them exactly where they need to attack.
Something I accidentally did while playing was find out the L button is also the echo menu button. I don't think the game tells u this and only tells u about the D pad input. But, that was quite uncomfortable for me, so, I just use the L button and my left stick. If using the D pad for the echo menu is uncomfortable for u, just use the L button.
I think echos of wisdom might be my favourite zelda game of all time, it combines elements of the whole series whist being a cozy creative little adventure. Now if they could do something with the UI that would be perfect
If she can become spirit link then she should be able to become spirit everything else! It’s fun but I wanna be those things and use their abilities, Mario Cappie style or MegaMan style.
Bro. Respect the game, respect the franchise. Yes there are some downsides to every Zelda game yet this one you get to for a third time play as Zelda herself.
3:36 It heals if you lay down in the Bed until it healed you once, then stay up and lay down again. SPOILER: My most Used Item was the cloud. It´s broken and gets me everywhere.
Just started yesterday and even though I knew how the game worked I didn't really get it until I started playing. I've barely scratched the surface and excited to discover more. It's impressive how deep they managed to make a game that seems so simple. Simple mechanics that go wide.
The tarantula seems a bit game breaking. In the sense that you can omit half of the intended gameplay. Is it that bad? Really like the game a lot so far! (except for the instable framerate and clunky ui.)
this game has a bug twice I had a fairy in a bottle and lost all my harts and died it did not revive me. and one time it did. so the fairy bottles don't always work for some reason. has anyone else had this happen?
The game looks good and I'm going to buy it, but some of these methods just look like a chore. I miss when Miyamoto was in charge of Zelda. I prefer just playing as link, swinging my sword at enemies, and having straight forward puzzles that have 1-2 answers. This BotW style of open ended puzzles often feels like a chore and a single mechanic that gets used for an entire game. It gets boring pretty fast. The games are still quality because Nintendo, but something is missing and I wish Miyamoto still was in charge.
100% in 11 hours. Third Zelda in a row that I'll never revisit 😢 I guess it's a step up from TotK though as that was the first Zelda I didn't bother to 100%.
Sad to hear it's so short. I'm also sad to see that they're continuing with the boring mechanic that gets used for the entire game. I just want to flick my sword and solve traditional puzzles. I guess those days are gone. Btw, I notice they're even copying the fonts, menus, cooking system and quick menu from BotW and TotK. I miss when Zelda's were very different from one another.
@@TheKabuto90 it's easy af. I died once the entire game, only two things I didn't complete first time (the cloud boss cause its the first place I went and the third level of the mango game) and both of them were completed on the second try.. All of the hidden collectable are signposted, the puzzles would only test a zombie, and the combat poses zero challenge. Even the final boss is easy af.
