Kde je pečená kačica s červenou kapustou a lokšami alebo mastené lokše s pečienkou, tradičná kapustnica s klobásou, trhance na slano aj sladko, skalický trdelník, množstvo slovenských vín, trnavská medovina a kofola? Určite je to typickejšie ako povedzme vyprážaný rezeň alebo syr, ktorý sa je skoro všade.
@@Julcisko Je Československá, z pohľadu cudzinca stále ide o našu špecialitu, lebo inde v zahraničí si ju len tak nekúpi. Mimochodom Slovensko a Česko sú jediné dve krajiny EÚ, kde nie je najobľúbenejší kolový nápoj Coca-Cola alebo Pepsi.
@@majstter7420 tak to nie sú žiadne novinky čo píšeš, ale je to český nápoj z Opavy, takže chváliť sa kofolou kvôli tomu, že ju tu radi pijeme, je stále chválenie sa cudzím perím. Každému cudzincovi, ktorý sa ma opýta, či je kofola slovenská s radosťou vysvetlím, že nie je.
I have visited family and friends in Slovakia several times and have not seen or tried some of these foods. Guess I need to go back again!!! :) Slovakia was part of the Austro Hungarian Empire for a very long time, so the fact that some of these foods have Hungarian roots is not surprising. Goulash is one of my favorite dishes ever. I learned to love foods made with poppy seeds while in Slovakia. The bakery at the end of the video looks like it has swirls of poppy seeds. Guess I don't see the sesame seeds.
Looks good to me. My Dads side of family is Slovak and from a village called Velky Folkmar, wish I could go there and experience everything thing Slovak.

I am a Slovak girl and I can't eat fatty foods and a lot of meat. I don't eat pork and sausages and beef and I don't drink alcohol. Such dishes are full of ointments, meat ... etc.

Pirohy or "Pierogi" are from Polish cuisine, yes we have pirohy in Slovakia and it is stuffed with special sheep cheese, but it is more popular as a Polish food i think.
And many more... (when i was kid my favorite time to eat was during Christmas on village. People prepare a lot of fresh pork dishes). But summer is good to just langos (fried bread in oil with cream fraish and minced garlic on the top with cold beer somewhere camping next to lake... ))

We do just fine .. no gmo’s, no hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup , no super sized portions, no highly processed foods, at least not in our traditional food . The crap that’s being imported from the west is the real health hazard. Thanks for the concern though.
@@natasakovac9869 slovenské jedlo je kapustnica, nie fazuľová polievka, fazuľová polievka je nejaký hybrid kapustnice. Do kapustnice pôvodne fazuľa nepatrí, aspoň nie do tej tradičnej.
na vychode sa v zicvote nedavala fazula do kapustnice fazulovica na vianoce jedia len zapadniari,alebo strukoviny ,miesto kapustnicer,na vychod maju echt kapustnicu
Suhlasim. Okrem nejakych halušiek slovenska gastronómia neexistuje. Všetky tie jedla vo videu su len prevzate z cudzich krajin. A vlastne aj tie halušky nie su skutočne slovenske lebo celá tato salášnicka kultura prišla do Hornych uhier z Valašska čo je súčasť Rumunska. Bryndza, žinčica, valaška, fujara, bača to všetko priniesli Valasi z Rumunska. Takže pardon ale skutočne Slovenske jedla su maximalne nejake obilne kaše ake jedly ešte starí Slovania z časov Svätopluka.
Don' t be childlish people (both of you). Its only food. Cuisines in Middle Europe countries are pretty similar. I don' t know what is so special about bean or chicken soup, foods with poppy, snitzel. :D Btw this cheese in 5:02 definitely isn' t hungarian stuff. We have that registered in Eu geographical indication register as our traditional dish.
