I feel like the first easter egg was a two for the price of one considering there was a super mario easter egg to the left as you approached the vault door
Yeah, I believe the frog game is packed with easter eggs that reference other games and media, you can even get costumes that reference other media, for example there's an outfit that is supposed to be a Ninja Turtle :p
Another Easter egg in Cyberpunk that i found, you can find a body in pacififca with a balaclava (or how you say it in English) and two batons beside him, this is probably a reference to "kick ass" plus you can find a shard that says something about "butt kicker"
Just had an idea for maybe a future video. Compilation when patience is rewarded. Cause I saw the sponge bob with beard thuimbnail and I know there is plenty of these easter eggs here and there
The castles in the sand and enter sandman feels like it is a reference to the songs of the same name. Castles in the Sand by Thunder and Enter Sandman by Metalica.
The name of the achievement in the goat simulator easter egg: "sandcastles in the sand" could be a reference to the episode "Sandcastles in the Sand" of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother and it's infamous Robin Sparcklez song with the same name
That dark souls Easter egg is even cooler bc it references a specific boss battle from dark souls 3 called “the abyss watchers”, there’s 3 of them and when you walk into the arena they spawn out of the ground in that exact same way. Such a cool reference to one of the best boss fights in souls games imo
Hey Cap, long time viewer here. I just wanted to say thanks for all the fun videos, but more importantly. Thanks for introducing me to some games that I never would have found without your videos. Cheers brother!
In the Simpsons RoadRage for the Ps2 if you play the game on certain holidays you can play as a special playable character ex. Today (Thanksgiving) you can play as Marge in a Canynaro with turkey(blue hat) with a bib that says help! Also on the side of the SUV it says Happy Thanksgiving! Was playing it today it was a nice surprise, I miss the days when games had this feature and not had to have “updates” for a holiday event.
I just finished goat simulator. The amount of game references and movie references are insane. One of my fav is on the left side of the map there is an area called "Quiet Hill" inside is a P.T remake. In the lava part of the mountain, there is a lord of the rings reference with an Eye of Sauran pickup and you can enter an area where you can throw the ring, another with a major spoiler to the games ending is a Super Mario reference but you need to beat the gama first. There is wayyy more but thats for you to find.
@@grenouillesupreme If you do enough events it unlocks a door in the goat castle where you can beat a final boss that unlocks a special goat that lets you place random blocks everywhere
Thank you for uploading today! Hope you as well as anyone reading this has a Happy Thanksgiving. I have a game Wishlist and you introduce me to many games on that list like Ghostwire and Midnight Fight Express Is Weird West only on PC?
I have to admit I'm a bit proud of the fact that I recognized the csgo reference. I'm assuming that asking myself "why does that look like csgo" counts as recognizing it.
In goat simulator 3, you can drop a nuke on the town Haven’t played it yet so I don’t know the specifics, but there’s a control room in a tower that shouldn’t have a control room mess with the buttons enough, and a nuke will drop you’ll get a fallout uniform for your goat
A hidden game detail i found is on Apex Legends, if you finish a Bangalore as NewCastle instead of doing a normal finisher you will just laugh and wave your finger at her. It is because they are actually brother and sister
I dont know if u have covered it in "movie references" but the game Sly 2 has a Shining reference in a cut scene.. Scared the shit out of me as a kid 😂
I'd say no mans sky has done the biggest comeback out of sheer willingness, followed by FFXIV which pretty much sunk during its first iteration launch. Cyberpunk was backed up by Warsaw I think and if CDProjekt red didn't want to get permanently screwed they had to keep updating it and make stuff for it to keep it going.
Pretty sure they published/made cyberpunk all on their own, that was the whole point of the “it’ll be ready when it’s ready” thing. They released it way too early to avoid cancelling a deadline they set after multiple delays already, not because they owed anything to anyone else
@@jebalitabb8228 False, they got about 9 million from Polands research funds for the game and to research multiple aspects like online etc. Which never saw anything in the game,.
That goat simulator easter egg is from the first counterstrike game. Its a replica of part of the Dust map... complete with the spray paint on the wall.
I'm so glad amazing frog is getting attention nowadays. Had it on the ouya, remember that damn thing? Dude at my high school talked me into one. Amazing front is good fun with multiplayer.
At the Goat Sim 3 section, when you start fighting the sand people, I saw 2 references (one to "The Ring" and the other to "Punch-Out!") One sand person was named "Sandako" (The Ring reference) and another was named "Mr.Sandman" (Punch-Out! reference). Also, the achievement you get when you make the sand castle is a reference to "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.
That de_dust map is a reference to cs 1.6 specifically not cs:go because of the layout and more importantly the blocky style. it is a direct copy from cs1.6. the cs:go version looked a lot different so no. you made a mistake there.
@@alyctro8158 age might not have much to do with it for this case. He gives the impression of someone thats not a gamer and more a voice to read a script.
...I feel really old for recognizing the Goat Simulator easter egg as a partial recreation of the ORIGINAL DE_Dust2 map on either the original Counter-Strike game or its decades-old sequel Counter-Strike: Source.
Sandcastles in the Sand could be a reference to how i met your mother in the Show Robin was an Pop Star who made some Songs and one of them was sandcastles in the sand
In the postal 2 dlc paradise lost you can find a locked house and when opened you can find on the second floor postal 3 posters and a man in a postal 3 shirt who hung him self with (believe it or not) a monitor displaying a gameplay session of postal 3 ended by a crash
I don't know much about Amazing Frog and maybe I am bugging but doesn't his footsteps sound like the Battletoads pause music. I'm sure it was intentional I just think it is pretty cool.
Hey I got something for you when you are playing the mission embedded in my 2019 go guns blazing everywhere there will be different outcomes Edit: There is a mp5 and ar right where the dog and Russian are at
The reason for Goat simulator 1 straight to Goat simulator 3 is because the were making fun of the devs of Dead island and those devs made Dead island 1 straight to Dead island 3 (Edit): I think it was Dead island but also in one of the Goat simulator 1 trailers they used Dead island music i think
1:45, also a reference to Minecraft's "The cake is a lie" achievement after making one... reminds me that I haven't played the game for a long time. Anybody mind telling me what's new?
I really have how every Portal reference in any game ever is always "The cake is a lie", as if the game has no other substance than that single reference.....
In Lego marvel super heroes 2 if you collect a minikit piece as Thor he will say "this piece. I like it another!" that being a reference to thor the movie when he drinks the coffee and smashes the mug saying "this drink. I like it another!"
hi I am a 9year old boy who is a fan. I am currently on my grandma's phone but in c.o.d modern warfare 2 remastered. in the museum there is a bell and if u press it the dummies come to life and battle you.if you have done it then ok!:)
I did that goat simulator 3 sandcastle quest last night, the game is just filled with references and Easter eggs to just about everything I love it, even the descriptions of the items are sometimes references, it’s just a really fun game and keep up the amazing work Cap!!!
6:13 the text under "Sandcastles in the Sand" says "Enter Sandman" this could be a reference to the song by the same name in the band Metallica's Black Album
There's a Easter egg where in goat simulator 3 if you go to one of the church and headbutt the large and medium bell to the imperial walk from star wars it'll open the door to a small house and give you a lightsaber
There's another esteregg in plants vs zombies battle for neighborville in town Square there's a house with boxes on each other and this is a reference to a hello Neighbor glitche
