DIY PooPourr:
1/2 tsp rubbing alcohol or vodka
30 drops essential oil
1 tsp dish soap
distilled water to fill the rest of the bottle.

نصائح وأفكار رائعة لقد أحببته❤ وبشكل خاص أحببت فكرة صنع مزيل البقع من زجاجة دوارة فارغة سأجربه رغم اني لم اعد امتلك الكثير من العبوات 😅لي أكثر من عام أصنع ما استطيعه من مستحضرات التجميل بنفسي لذا قللت تلقائيا الكثير من العبوات الفارغة

Maybe not innovative, but I reused my sugar scrub container by adding dish soap & water to catch mosquitoes, gnats, etc. They fly into the water but their wings get stuck by the soap so they can't fly & drown. I bought some little body wash samples on clearance & when I used them up, I cleaned them out & filled them with lotion. I put 1 in my purse, work bag, & another on my bedside table. The original lotion bottles are too big/heavy to fit in my purse, etc.

@@AmyGood I had a roommate that used to steal my Adderall so I would hide my Adderall in the makeup containers and sometimes i would even hide them in pockets of shirts in my closet. I also just made Vaseline perfume from my small tester Bond samples of perfume.

I don't wear makeup any more but I always thought it'd be neat to hide cash in a lipstick tube. The pills in the lipstick tube is genius!

Companies should make sure that the labels on their containers should be removed without too much of trouble. Only then can people recycle them. Will help in environmental conservation

I have been using my skincare/haircare empties to store accessories like earphones and earrings 😅 most pump packs become dispensers for hand wash/body wash/face wash/dish wash 😜 glass dropper bottles become excellent storage solution for diy face/body oils/oil based perfumes ❤ This video creator has given me some new ideas as well...thank you 😁

I WISH brands would start refills more. I’m so bummed that a lot of the great packaging goes to waste, meanwhile they can just sell refills. It’s less money for customers and less money for companies to spend on production of packaging. Even mascara, I bought one and the packaging is so nice and luxurious, I wish I could just pop a new tube of mascara into it. Makes me so sad and mad. But I’m glad to see other people reuse their packaging too. I started keeping my old bottles and just buy refills for what I can: shower gel, body oils etc.

I completely agree! It's so frustrating to see great packaging go to waste when brands could simply offer refills. I love your idea about mascara-being able to pop in a new tube would be fantastic. I read somewhere that makeup used to be made in refillable glass or metal containers. It wasn't until plastic became more cost-effective ( aka. cheaper to make) that companies switched to disposable packaging. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I don't wear makeup, but I have bought a tiny pack of ziploc bags from the drugstore, each about 1.5"x 1.5", for carrying pills. They're lightweight and slip into my pocket.

Great question! After making homemade rosemary oil, I usually dry the leftover rosemary sprigs. You can reuse them in homemade potpourri, but often they become too saturated and might need to be discarded. Thanks for asking!

Hi Rop, you read that right. The floss I was using wasn't thin enough, so it wasn't doing a good enough job cleaning, which unfortunately resulted in a costly dental bill for me. :(

12 products a day is way too many ...here is what our house does ...same soap for body n face n occasional talc if d weather is hot ...subscreen and deo or perfume ...few times a week shampoo n conditioner ...oil ...toothpaste isnt beauty i hope 😊

Hi Tina! I know 12 sounds like a lot at first, but I thought about it and can easily think of at least 10 with just the basics: shampoo, conditioner, face wash, face lotion, toothpaste, sunscreen, lip balm, makeup, makeup remover, and hand lotion. Isn't that surprising? You never really think about it until you actually count them!
