Right?? Those little rascals took what in Vinces eyes hoped was a big goofy joke of a spectacle, and they turned it into a very entertaining TLC match. Of course there was humor involved( the little people involved understand thats inevitable given their stature) but they actually put a heck of a match together and got a paying gig out of it, was beautiful.
I actually enjoyed watching the MITB match that took place at WWE headquarters, kinda reminded me of the good old Hardcore matches which I do miss. And I do recall the Dungeon match with Owen and Shamrock all part of their rivalry which led to the Lions Den, again I liked a lot
Meanwhile, in Japan, They're having an exploding barbed wire taipei deathmatch where you have to dunk your opponents head into a tank of live piranhas to win.
Fun Fact: John Cena & Randy Orton vs RAW Roster wasn’t the only one to happen. One time, Triple H and Mr. Kennedy took on the ECW Roster. The roster won the match, only for each member to start brawling with each other.
You’re right. It was good for what it was: a quick cool-down on PPV. Nick Patrick knew how to play up his heat, and the anti-WCW element of the crowd meant Earl & the WWF contingent were gonna get cheers no matter what. I’ve seen it a few times and it’s competently done for a pair of guys who weren’t trained to work matches so much as they were to bump when needed.
The Santina vs Guerreros Hog Pen match wasn't the first that was HHH vs Henry Godwinn in 1995 . If you want weird check out the Crybaby between Razor Ramon and 123 Kid , the house show series of bodybag matches between Ultimate Warrior and Undertaker or Weasel Suit matches between Ultimate Warrior and Bobby Heenan .
@@doctorsuave There's at least 2 Warrior vs Heenan Weasel Suit matches on RU-vid one at the Philadelphia Spectrum and the other at LA Sports Arena .There's also one on the VHS tape Wrestle Fest 1988 , which I still have and somehow it still works .
Fun fact at number 7 Blacktop Bully aka Barry Darsow famously known as Demolition Smash and Dustin bled in the match and WCW had a no blading policy around that time so they both were fired in which would kickstart Dustins journey from The Natural to Goldust
At Summerslam 1991 during the intercontinental title match between Mr Perfect and Bret Hart , Perfect shoved Hebner into the corner and was going to choke him Hebner shoved back and instead of disqualifying Perfect he let the match continue .
How did you miss out on one of the Best Hardcore Championship moments....Al Snow, searching for opponents, decided he would challenge Himself, and kicked his own ass across the ring.
They should make a rules reversed match type. You get disqualified if you DONT hit with a weapon, if you get thrown into the ring, you are eliminated etc, and forget about the rules that simply can't be reversed.
Finally another video! I love this channel! Some of these are actually hilarious! 😂 I hope most of these stay retired for good. (Except for the MITB match! That was fun!)
How about the Showgirls match between William Regal and Goldust or the Hardcore Evening Gown match between Pat Paterson and Gerald Brisco or the numerous Blindfold matches ?
Iron Circle match Ken Shamrock vs Steve Blackman .This was in a parking lot the wrestlers were encircled by cars . The objective incapacitate your opponent so you can leave the circle . Lions Den match was done twice the first Owen Hart vs Ken Shamrock the second was Ken Shamrock vs Steve Blackman the twist to the second one was weaponswere involved . The objective was the same in both incapacitate your opponent then leave the Lions Den .
Don't forget the Punjabi Prison Match (a Hell in a Cell or Steel Cage match kind of but with a Bamboo cage proper of India wrestlers like the Great Khali or Jinder Mahal), the themed Street Matches like the Trick or Streat Match for Halloween, the Miracle on 34th Street Match for Christmas. And it's too sad that WWE doesn't dare to make an Intergender Battle Royal unlike Impact Wrestling, the closest to a Men and Women Battle Royal happened in a 18 person Tag Team Match that turned in a Battle.
The pitch black match was pretty cool with the lighting. The ending wasn’t that great but if it’s taken the right way then they can possibly make it a match worth doing more than once
Hey, you forgot something in the pool match I forgot that match existing same thing in 2K 20 to that, Cory and Michael gets scared hard, funny but also real life. I remember that Scott Hall take the plunge by the giant/big show.
Weelc was awesome I love that everyone was like mini like the Ref ring announcer and the commentators the table everything even though ring I was watching it like I kind of like wwe I was like 2 years old when I was watching it
You can add this as well Big show vs akebono in a Japanese style sumo match with big show wearing sumo costume 😂. It happened in WrestleMania 2006 if i am right
Stacy Keibler's awesome! Gravy match, eggnog match, evening gown match, paddle on a pole, lingerie match, numerous bra & panties matches and did a mud match/rip off the camouflage
I can appreciate that WWE tried to do something interesting and different with MITB in 2020 to make up for the lack of an audience, but it was too goofy for my taste. I’d rather that just had a normal MITB match.
Extra fact: did you know after the King of the Road match, Dustin Rhodes aka Goldust got fired from WCW cause he bladed during the match and blading is a major no no in WCW
