I'm looking for the lyrics (They provided them to me in the comments, thank you guys). It seems like it's French, but I am French and only understand a few words she is saying. It's a great performance though, but the language is a bit distorted.

@@davidthomas4697 In fact, that´s the point. Those aren´t words but more sounds that sound remotly like french. She doesnt say anything coherent but still, expresses much.
Yeah what the hell How is that even possible It feels impossible to go anywhere now without people recording everything on their phone and i find it so aggravating
Thank you. That was exactly my thought. Civilized and class. And this you girl has a voice like an angel. 65 years and had tears in my eyes and NOT ashamed.
Finally someone appeared who brought the whole world to its knees. With her appearance, she refreshed the entire music scene of the world. A cultured, well-educated, gifted with an exceptionally talented voice, raised the world stage to the highest level. She reached an impossible level and set a new level of performance on the public stage for many singers. One big bravo Emma......
Considering her situation and the song's deep message, I felt the need to translate it for our English-speaking folks. This way, we can really get what the singer's feeling and who she is at her core. Listen to me, The singer, not yet fully realized. Speak of me, To your loved ones, to your friends. Speak to them of the girl with dark eyes and her wild dreams. All I desire is to pen tales that touch your soul. That's truly all. Here I am, here I am, revealing my essence. Even when laid bare, I'm fearful, yes. I stand amidst the noise and the silence. See me, or at least what remains of me, Look before I loathe what I see. What can I convey that others haven't already said? It might seem small, but everything I am, I lay it out here, just so. Here I stand, this is who I truly am, Even when exposed, I persist. It's my voice, my outcry, here I am, regardless, Right here, right now, My dreams, my desires, as they tear me apart, as they make me laugh, I exist amidst the clamor and the quiet. Please don't leave; I implore you to stay awhile. It might not be my salvation, no, But living without you, I can't fathom how. Love me as you'd love a friend departing forever, I yearn for that love, for I struggle to embrace my own edges. Here I am, here I stand, revealing my essence. Even when stripped bare, the journey concludes. I exist amidst the clamor and the tempest. Behold me, truly, see my eyes, my hands. All that I embody is right here, my voice, my outcry. This is me, unwavering and true. Here and now, I stand before you.
This song beautifully captures vulnerability, identity, and the longing to be recognized and understood. Its lyrics resonate with the singer’s deep emotions and genuine self. It touches on the struggles of self-acceptance and the desire to be loved for who one truly is.
When you cry hard listening to a song in a foreign language that you don’t understand, you know the artist has touched your soul deeply with their voice, their performance. Emma Kok did just that! Thank you, Emma!
Here are the lyrics to 'Voila'. It’s a song seeking self-acceptance and for the acceptance of others for who you are, both qualities and flaws. The lyrics here mean a lot to Emma from her struggles with her illness and that she was bullied at school because of her feeding pumps and because she is small (at 15 she is only 150cm [4ft 11in] tall and wearing 12cm heels in this video). Listen to me, me, the half singer Talk about me, to your loved ones, to your friends Tell them about this little girl with black eyes and a crazy dream What I want is to write stories that you will hear about, that's all Voilà, this is who I am Here I am, even if I'm scared as I'm laid bare, yes Here I am in the noise and in the silence Look at me, or at least what's left of me Look at me, before I hate myself What can I say that another's lips hasn't already told you I don't have much, but I place here what I do have, voilà Voilà, here is who I am Here I am, even if it's the end as I'm naked That's my face, that's my shout, here I am, that's it, voilà, Right here, its me, my dream, my will If I'm dying from this, how I'm laughing at it, here I am in the noise and in the silence Don't go, I'm begging you to stay for a long time It might not save me, no, but I don't know how to live without you Love me now how you would love a friend who is leaving forever I want to be loved, because I don't know myself how to like my own shape Voilà, here is who I am Here I am, even if exposed and its the end Here I am in the noise and in fury too Look at me finally, at my eyes and my hands All I have is here, it's my mouth, it's my scream Here I am, here I am, Voila!
@@RogerClutton Thanks to Translate and to give the Lyrics in English for all who dont understand French Langage... It's à very beautiful song... Thanks... From France.
@@RogerCluttonThank you for the translation. Though I don't know the language, her voice touched my soul and I cried. But having the meaning of the song through you helped appreciate it much more. Thanks a lot!
That beautiful curtsy when she takes the stage embodies everything to know about what is coming. Elegance, grace, courage, vulnerability and heart-wrenching beauty. I wish that every human alive gets to experience this.
I don't know how many times I have watched this video. What a Great Voice, what a Great orchestra . I live in a country that may never experience being in this kind of music conserts and places. Enjoy life ,music and freedom while you can .Love from Iran.
So much to see here! Emma is a beautiful talent--an amazing voice, yes, but also so expressive. Incredible. Also, Andre Rieu seems like a nice guy. That hug at the end was genuine and sort of... fatherly.
Yes, the depth of her feeling and her ability to communicate that to the audience with such sincerity is beyond most singes three times her age. World class, at 15!!!
If you look for interviews of André talking about Emma He proudly calls her “a stage beast” .blows out his cheeks and says “what a talent”, talks about his “second father feelings for her”,…..
How often do you see an orchestra give a kid a standing ovation? How often do you see grown men cry? This is far and away the best I've ever heard this sung. The arrangement is exceptional. Way better than the original
Jesus loves you very much and wants you. Accept Jesus as your only and sufficient Savior, Jesus is COMING ✝️ Ps37 5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will do everything.✝️=❤
Emma wird nichht nur eine schöne und Temperamentvolle Frau, sondern mit Sicherheit auch eine großartige Ausnahmekünstlerin und dafür habe ich die kleine Anna schon heute in mein Herz eingeschlossen. Liebe Anna, mach bitte weiter so!

@@jimlahey5623most stupid comment I’ve ever read! Can’t u see that she’s quite thin for her age? Why should she fake her illness :/ ps: herself raised a foundation in order to find a cure not just for her but also for people that share her same pathology. Try to show some kindness and empathy for people who are not as lucky as you, take it as an advice ;)
As a French, I shall tell you that her understanding of every word of the text is absolutely amazing. She wants to personify the character of the story and she succeeds completely to do it. All the articulations are perfect. Her vocal play is admirable and the expressed emotion are always kept under control despite the huge crowd and the size of the event. A stunner. Bravo.
And she walks off of the stage proudly..same way she came on stage. What a warrior. Pretty sure I was crying in the car listening to that badass. Damn..we all of should wake up earlier.
I am French and already did know and love this French song but this performance amazed me. What an artist, it is not just about her (sensational) voice but also about the emotion she is giving through it. Thank you for those unforgettable goosebumps 🥹🥹
The song is literally about asking to be seen and loved so it’s like she’s asking the crowd to look at her and see her and love her because she can’t do it herself. The main “chorus” you could say is saying “there you go that’s who I am” it’s amazingly beautiful and sad.
It's very rare that you can move an audience like that. Transcending genres, Emma's performance is world class. Her vocal ability is absolutely stunning given that French is not her first language. The emotion and heartfelt sincerity of her interpretation of this song is truly next level. Bravo young lady we've all been blessed to witness such an amazing performance.
I discovered Emma by chance a few days ago while browsing RU-vid. And I was immediately blown away. There is probably nothing that hasn't been written here about Emma and her incredible voice. So I'll keep it short. God bless you, little, big, strong, brave Emma.
So this is what a heavenly performance from heaven itself looks like. Thank you both so much for this gift to the soul.Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina! Bravo! You must endure Emma, freedom will come.

Dear Emma , I'm not sure you realize how many people you touch when you sing. People with anxiety, depression, when everything is and seems horrible, your voice soothes. Gives hope.
Despite all the difficulties and impossibilities she experienced, she chose to realize her dream and struggle. By realizing this dream, she showed the whole world how strong she is. I wish this young and beautiful girl a successful and happy future in her life. This success of her is proof that despite the difficulties you encounter on the way to your dreams, if you really want it and ignore all the obstacles and continue to fight, you will definitely reach it one day. ✨Remember, it doesn't matter what others think or obstacles as long as you want it. ✨
I didn’t need to understand her language, the emotion she portrayed in this truely beautiful performance cuts across all language barriers. I’m so glad I decided to watch this video.🥰🥰🥰
I looked carefully, and I saw no tears. I only saw a lot of "almost-crying". I was honestly surprised. I figured they would manage to catch at least one or two people actually crying. Cause, shoot, I can make myself cry just by thinking about Homer Simpson selling his blimp ticket just to help Lisa enter a beauty pageant. And still, I didn't see a single wet cheek...

For someone so young, to understand the true pacing of this song, from intermittent conversation, to full blown rage, is just not done. Emma Kok is the rare exception. Her breathing exercises and vocal warmups before performance is what she is doing to keep her vital & strong, as well as her joy for music. ❤🇨🇦
She hits some of the note so perfectly that they actually tingle my spine. Goosebumps all over and yes a few tears. What a beautiful performance. Soul touching.
I could not keep it dry. I’ve been to “de vrijhof” in Maastricht. Nice square with pubs and restaurants. Maastricht is one of the best cities in the Netherlands. Forget Amsterdam.

I had the privilege of witnessing this exact performance in Gothenburg a few days ago. Everyone was crying when hearing the song, except for me but there was a guy sitting next to me cutting onions which made my tears fall. I didnt cry tho...
I'm French native, and i just want to say, her prestation is amazing. She has a beautiful accent ! i have the impression that emotion is as present for foreigners as for French.
many Europeans shed tears probably from the fact that they believe that European medicine is not able to help this talented girl! What do the scientists in my laboratories spend millions of dollars and euros!? They work creating new viruses and diseases in order to create a vaccine and earn billions on it! Money is put at the forefront, not Emma's illness, they are interested in only money!
Emma Kok is 15, singing in a language I don't understand but my god the emotion in her singing is unbeleivable. A rare rare talent with an absulutely beautiful voice
@@jamespaternoster7354c’est du français effectivement ! ça performance est merveilleuse mais je ne comprends pas tout quand elle chante. par contre elle me met les poils !
Yep. I don't understand the French language either. Music Transends language and the raw emotion shines through. Gave me shivers down my spine, just like all the best performances do.
You may know that Emma Kok and Andre Rieu's orchestra will be in South America in September: Santiago, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and Bogota, 18th, 19th, 20th.
she's not only singing, but she's speaking with the audience. her body languages, her eyes talks to everyone, "look at me, listen to my song...". but sadly, i don't know the language. 😭 everyone's heart touched by her. she gives the song a soul. it's a singing skill & an acting skill as well in one performance, gorgeous...
Sie können die lyrics des Song- Titels bei google eingeben. Wenn der Text nicht in der eigenen Sprache zu finden ist, den Originaltext kopieren und mit google übersetzen. So helfe ich mir immer.
Each time you paste the French lyrics of this song into the comments! If I know her by heart Emma Kok won't get any easier! It is necessary to raise the problem of the disease itself, how to treat it! And do not admire how beautifully she sings! Hundreds of laboratories and thousands of scientists work for Big Pharma! They are busy inventing new strains of disease viruses in order to then arrange pandemics on the entire planet, then they will create a vaccine to sell it and earn billions of euros and dollars! Who is behind this? Probably the shadow lobby of the world government! Enemies of humanity!
Spent 3 years in Syria against isis. Saw awful things. When I got home I was lost and are still fighting with panicattacks and stress. Ive never felt calm like this since before the war. Thank you Emma!
i hope you and your family is well. i’m sorry for everything you had to go through. music is quite a gateway into peace. ill be praying for your wellbeing 🙏🙏
I am sad to hear your story of those years. I had panic attacks for a long time until I found the way to get rid of them. If I can help you with support writing, or talking or by zoom, I would be very glad to try to help you. 🙏
Everything about this is perfect. The arrangement. Her introduction by the conductor. Her hair, make up and dress perfect for a young lady. Stunning. Her voice and most of all her stage presence. She has “it”!
Exactly well said this whole performance was beautiful I really wish that young girl the best I hope she gets thru all her medical issues fine she is gifted for sure 🖤
Here comes a tiny young lady, relatively unknown, her very first time before a huge crowd of 22555 people. A giant world famous conductor beside you and a world class orchestra behind you. There she is, a small black figure, hardly visible from the crowd. She takes her bow, starts to sing and literally commands the stage ! She just makes you transfixed, jaws dropped, and after leaves you in wonder of what you've just witnessed. She smiles, gives a hug, says 'thank you' in the cutest way and disappears. But André knows when an Artist deserves a second round of applause.
She has no idea just how good she is. I’m obsessed with her and can’t stop watching this video. Perfectly done in an incredible venue. If you were there, you were privileged to be.
I felt in the beginning like she was just speaking, telling us something that we should understand but none of us could, but we still listened, because her voice somehow translated the message through our hearts.
