Office manager mentioned 15 years ago while playing volleyball, jammed the middle finger into hyperextension, since then has trouble having a tight grip and has pain in the palm. Also presents with bilateral sciatica down both legs to the toes with right side more painful than left. And states mid back pain and neck pain with difficulty turning the head.

So important to provide explanations to patients so that they understand exactly what is going on in their bodies and what will be done to fix them. This patient appeared comfortable and calm through his entire adjustment. Great job!

Finally, someone who does a push. Never saw a 6th cervical done prone with a pisiform. Why not the chair? Love the rock’n 70s velour set!😆. Great job Doc!

The most effective method for correcting the cervical vertebra is prone on the knee chest table or hylo table. Cervical chair is reserved for acute conditions and inferiorities. Dr Gonstead corrected 90% of the spine on the Knee chest table alone.

Boe Savvy I know Dr Rahim has newer equipment specific for Gonstead adjustments.. plus the wood squeaks when adjustments being made.

Sons of Thunder yeah he has a new knee chest table. He is the only Gonstead doc I have seen with that one. The rest of the equipment including the hylo table is the same.

Dr Suh is aware of the Millennium tables which is what Dr Rahim has, there are a few Gonstead doctors who have it however the electronic motor in the knee chest table and cervical chair are prone to breaking down. While Millennium may look nicer, due to the high volume of patients Dr Suh sees, having a functional and reliable equipment is more important. What's the point of having a nice expensive car if it doesn't work?

What diagnostic criteria were met for you giving him Radiographs??? I am really curious why you did a full spine x-ray, there has to be reasons for exposing someone to radiation other than I just want to show you it all or see it all...

Cervical nerves relay nerve function to the fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, arms. But even after correction of any cervical misalignment, it cannot stay stable until the underlying foundation is stable as well. No different to a foundation to a house, if foundation unstable, everything else will be unstable. Other thing to keep in mind, full spine radiographs are very low radiation taken at 84" away versus regular sectional xrays at 40". Laws of Physics, like spraying a water nozzle, water is more intense the closer you are, and less intense further away you are. 84" is 50% less radiation versus 40". We also use lead shielding to further reduce radiation. And we are the only chiropractic office in the entire USA to use the full spine DR plate that cuts radiation even more. Most sectional radiographs are about 5-8 mSv units of radiation, ours is a fraction of that.

Is it just me, or does videoing the treatment without ever seeing the patient’s face somehow detract from understanding the effectiveness of the treatment? You can usually see the relief on patients’ faces after Dr. Suh adjusts them. This time I couldn’t plus the jerkiness of the camera to avoid the face was annoying.
