What an incredible map with so much work put into it! Also I must say the blocks within and inside the Desert Pyramid are so cool and it would be awesome to have stuff like that in Vanilla.

It's funny to me that we celebrate MC Java's 15th birthday... on Bedrock 😅 Most of the birthday gifts are for Bedrock, the map is on Bedrock. And Java gets... a cape 😅

What a fun experience! Was hoping to see more of the older versions like legacy but I was cool to see Alpha even if it was only for 30 minutes. I hope Minecraft will still be active 15 years later but by that time Hytale would've probably came out and replace Minecraft. Thanks for the memories even if my kids won't experience the after-school minecraft with friends or watching STampy, CaptainSparklez, PopularMMos or the Pack or even the Yogscast. Minecraft will never be forgotten in my heart, the good ol' days.

honestly this is awesome main weirdest thing about this is that the minecraft advertising team doesnt seem to want to acknowledge vanilla textures? Like barely anything has the vanilla textures

I'm glad that you played this map because your channel is something I've watched for 13 years and going thru the games history with you means a lot The alpha section was my favorite since I started playing at the very beginning of 2011 :)

Man, I started watching your content at the beginning of Mianite Season 2. The time has really flown by

No! You've got to be kidding me! Those retired colors for the wool are really nice! Why Mojang?! They're perfect for building! I would 100% use two dyes on a single wool if it meant we could have all of those nice, soft shades back. Even the OG light blue is better than the current one because it is so bright, and vivid. I really like that light green next to it, too! That periwinkle between the blue and purple, tho! As much as I don't care for pink, having a gorgeous fushia to work with would be amazing as well. Why does minecraft have to look so dull without these pretty things! 😭 😮‍💨😕 Strong reactions I feel in my builder soul aside, this is a pretty impressive map. It would be amazing to see such buttery animation quality in java someday.

This reminds me so much of the disneyland game on xbox kinect on xbox 360... So many years have passed since my xbox broke. This feels nostalgic. It's like Minecraft mixed with that disneyland game I really loved.

the one sad thing about this map is that you can clearly tell that Mojang is trying to slowly phase out the Java version. While I think the bedrock engine is much more optimized and i love the cross platform aspects, the micro transactions are AWFUL and are clearly what mojang is trying to push.

This map should have been made in Java version. It just feels wrong that it is about celebrating the history of Minecraft and then being made in a different game, different platform, why not stick to the original for a map like this?

I hate to be a hater, but this map is: 90% Making it look like all the fun in MC is the crap they added since 2016 9% associating non-modern MC with alpha and deliberately making it look boring Like man! This game probably has the biggest non-recent versions community, with modpacks, servers, etc. a big history of events, celebrities and they just ignore all that. Completely. Like, imagine a museum of some city's history and the only things that are shown in it are "we build that road and that park 3 years ago, and renovated this intersection 2 months ago" DUDE!! It's a celebration of your history, if you wanna rewrite it so bad then don't celebrate it, the hell? I understand that it's just a game, but Minecraft takes a big part in my life and I just feel blatantly disrespected by whoever is responsible for these decisions. Thank god the community is carrying it well. Sorry guys
