As a child back in 2013 or 2014 when I first found you, I had never even questioned that the persona wasn't real. I just found a fun personality that made wonderful music, and I stuck with that idea all these years. I'm so happy to see you as someone new now, since we've all grown and matured. I can't wait to see more works on here now that you are far more comfortable doing in your own skin. Your music has helped me in tons of ways, whether that's anger release, calming, focus, or just thinking with something meaningful in the background. My first encounter with your music was through Approaching Nirvana (in songs like Witness, Here Again and on the Group 12 EP) and I was blown away by your vocals and the music done by you as well (Against The Grain, Crystal Clear, Vagrant, Valentine, Great Valley, Escape With You, Mirrors, Precious, Get Through, In Touch and loads more). The lyrics also spoke to my soul and my situation. Honestly I need to listen to all your recent music again because life has taken me in other directions. Your music has also been there for me when I've had rough times, mental health struggles and I listened to it a lot through my later school years when I was 16/17 so I'm glad you are sticking with it (now nearly 24). You then also led me to Miyoki (who you collab with sometimes) she is awesome too! Think I also used to be in your Discord at one time or another many years ago. Im so sorry about what you've had to go through. Parasocial relationships can be terrible especially where stalkers and unsavoury people are involved and they don't know how these relationships work. I wonder myself about doing something online as I get increasingly older but the experiences many people have told caution me against doing anything, especially as I haven't got my own place yet. I know being a man it will be less of a worry than for women but I hear the stories people have told and I wonder if I will be able to deal with it. I don't know how women can cope honestly.

I'm a relatively new fan who discovered you via a track I heard lately on a stream, life changing vocals in that track, a seriously amazing piece of work (drift away). I'm too new to have known of the character Veela but it's a really awesome even if partly sad story you had to hide behind a veneer to try and protect yourself but at the same time created an alternative life and brand that has made so much difference to people through music. Using your voice pack pack in 2012 helped launch my own music career and eventually I did a collab with Blackmill in 2020! I'm beyond disgusted hearing the things you've been through. I really have no words... I have a few female friends in the music industry and I'm 100% sure they experiencd this as well. Sociopaths ain't it sis. Fell in love with several songs you were in/wrote the moment young me heard the nightcore version of "witness." I got those big paper board things from the dollar store and drew fictional characters to go with your song. One fictional character I made later on, I named Elite (though pronounced e-light) after your song, Elite. I remember seeing your comment on how happy you were to be able to tell the story of those soldiers with Approaching Nirvana. Great Valley really helped me come to peace as an adult with trauma I've experienced. If only I'd known the meanings of it sooner... younger me didn't see beyond the beautiful sounds. In other words, thank you, Victoria, for Veela. I was always so inspired by her. Venus Flytrap, Guide for You/Me, Ghost Assassin, Moi (which I partially memorized ans majorly inspired me to learn French), and more. On some random Team Fortress 2 raffle website, if you went to a page after the raffle was closed, after a couple of minutes it would randomly start playing Let It Be. I'm just sitting there and all of a sudden there's this ethereal music and beautiful voice coming from somewhere. By the time I work out it, the song is in full swing and I'm in love. Back then when I discovered your music, I am not gonna lie, I clicked the video mainly because I saw your purple hair (and back then I used to have a purple hair as well so I kinda identified to that). I've never heard your music before and RU-vid recommended your video because a coworker knew your songs and we shared the same pc, so... However, what really made me stay was your talent and voice. I felt in love with your work immediately and went to search more songs. You made me fall in love even more for drum&bass and thank you for that! I was also addicted to Doctor Who and you specifically made a song about that show!!! What I am trying to say is that your talent is real, no matter if you're in a wig or not. I believe me and many more people will continue to follow you either way. Your music has been extremely important to my life growing up just a year older than you, and seeing the Veela character, even if she was just a character, was a big inspiration for me, and has helped me a lot in daring to be myself. I guess in this regard my story is the exact opposite, I needed to see Veela succeed with the awesome hair and looks, and that let me to break out of my shell, the character I played, and dye my own hair, dare to stand out. A decision I can't believe took me that long to make. So thank you for talking about this, and I hope I get to hear many more great vocals in the future as well!

Hey V, I can remember the first song i ever heard was lights with nlj. After that i quickly found your other songs, downloaded soundcloud because you said at the time you update there faster. You or rather "veela" felt like this confident, talented, wise big sister when i needed guidance. I enjoyed your music throughout the years and basically grew up with you. Now as a 26 year old women myself I deeply respekt the effort you made in order to protect yourself and your family while also entertaining us at the same time. I know I sound absolutely selfish (because it is! I'm aware!) and somewhat crazy but im not gonna lie I'm heartbroken...veela was always my rolemodel (ahhh I don't know how to explain!!) it's just I never thought it could be a character..i know it's stupid to be sad but I really am x: Still love you and all that you do for us. Been following you since 2011 when I first heard 'Let it Be'. Veela has been a muse for me. The music was ethereal and something I deeply connected to, during a bittersweet time in my life. And for the past 12 years your songs have never missed a playlist I've made. They have carried me through some of the most challenging moments of my life to some of the most mundane, like my emergency work playlist. I'll be honest, I had no idea it was a persona! I thought it was just a name you made up for online? But regardless! Your safety and your peace of mind is way more important than anyone else wanting you to do any particular thing. I'm sorry for all you've had to endure... it really breaks my heart as a man to hear how awful and crazy some people can be. I'll never understand how some people seem to completely disregard or not even care that their choices and actions can leave permanent consequences or traumas on those around them... I've been a fan ever since I was a senior in high school which feels like forever ago - 12 years now. Hi Victoria! I don't ever comment on YT, but I just had to. You will not believe, I am SOOOO PROUD of who you are as a person! I've been a long-time fan since before Time Bomb, and I'm so glad that you represent women who want to be recognized for their genius solely for what it is. Growing up, it was difficult to find female role models in media that resonated with me regarding this but you always have. That being said, it's quite scary how people do not consider how their behaviors can harm others even if they are not in contact with them or have a real relationship with them. Please stay safe. :)
