Hey! nice to see another long time f2p player , yea I always got every valk on release except the very early ones like Meme and BR , those I farmed up later on. Luckily enough RL retention is good enough to get the most important set every few months and also get all new valks. The only time I failed was because of HoH whom I wanted to full gear so needed to skip both Aponia and Vill-V , of course got Aponia now only Vill-V left. As for MA and Abyss yea agreed , even as full f2p I find them too easy with the gear I have so RL abyss is too boring and MA needs 3 SSS bosses to be really challenging, the SS boss is being way too boring as well. But I understand this will be a big problem for new players and that's why I wanted a separate division for say 90 and above. But yea good luck to you for whatever you plan to do!

As for 1. I'll say that you need to plan what elements you are going to focus on and build one elemental and physical team first , going for any character would be a mistake for example going for VG and building her only to realise she's a very bad fire dps will hurt in long run , so it's important to know what teams to build and work on those. 2 I'll say making foundry weps or stigs for converting them to resonance is not something new players should be advised to do because they already will need around an year to farm the minimum requirement stigmas for different teams from there. 3 I'll say the exchange shop has lost most of its value over time because most of the gear there is not worth getting, unless you already have say AE and want to get ND then that's fine but otherwise nothing else is worth getting. 4 and 4 I have nothing to add 5 I'll say ER abstinence is very easy even with very poor characters, you can look up guides on RU-vid for the character you are trying to use and see how they are building them , there are a bunch of ppl that make extremely budget strats which can guarantee you 500 xtals every week. As for 6 and 7 I'll say Abyss and MA are very important if you want to progress your account faster , and that's why you need to focus on good valks to build , they allow you to deal with these content much better and allow you to rank higher with low effort. Of course for extremely casual it's fine how you play but if you want to improve your account fast you'll need to work with some focus. Also thanks for helping your fellow captains!

@@countdracula7896 Oh no, don't get me wrong. I was not insinuating new players to do all of that cause that would take a long time before they get to our point. But thanks for clarifying my points man. What I need to clarify is that, new players may want to get into the habit of CHECKING OUT all those F2P alternative methods of getting RARE stigmas and weapons (4 & 5-star stigmas and weapons basically) as early as possible so they can start planning for the long term in a sense. Such as which game modes to prioritize, which UNIVERSAL MIRAGE materials to grind for, etc. Cause you and I both know, once you get into the endgame phase, Gacha Crystals and Tickets are as rare as asteroid minerals. Unless you decide to sink cold funds into the game 😂.

for me i thought this game was such a big scam at the start, i lost my 50/50 on beginners banner to the one i didnt want after 90 pulls and was sad because its more expensive but then i got 3 good 5 stars under 30 pulls !!!

Hello! Yes the outfits took a long while to get as many I have rn , as for SSS valks ye I just grinded them out from expeditions and war treasury in case of S ranks and some from spending events like Argent knight. Don't worry about lost xtals , everyone makes mistakes in early stages , I myself did a lot and back then nobody knew the game well enough to guide others as well so that made me cause lot of damage to my account but no worries it can all be fixed with time. As for the G4 stigmas , I farmed all of them except for Willows which I got lucky to get from gacha while pulling for HoR (Herrscher of Reason) Divine Key. But no , I would never recommend pulling for stigmas which are farmable cause those pulls can be better spent elsewhere. As for crystals, the best and consistent sources are doing Elysian Realm at least Abstinence clear every week for 500 crystals and Abyss (since you are new it's called Q-manifold and Q-singularis ) which has 2 resets a week and awards lot of crystals . Memorial arena and dailies also give good amount of crystals but not as much as abyss of course. As for suggestions in general, get someone good at the game to ask your queries to cause it's a very big and complex game and has lot of things to learn , you can maybe look at a guide I made a while ago it should still teach you the basics of game but apart from that you'll need someone to help you with all your basic but quite important queries like the ones you just asked now , the game doesn't help in lot of those regards. Most important thing I'll tell you tho is that make sure you know what you are playing for , is it trying to get some Valkyries ( all in my case ) , is it trying to do good in competitive game modes (abyss and memorial arena) , is it just the story and nothing else , or is it a mix of all (like for me) , also you need to plan based on if you can invest money into BP/Monthly, which if you can then your progress will be lot easier but if not then it's still fine cause look at me I made lot of progress. Whoever you take advice from make sure to clarify to them what your goal with the game is which will help them help you achieve the goal in best way possible. 1200-ish days account here to help add a few more points to Count's already extensive and helpful comment. 1. Team Compositions: For New players, you'd want to find, practice, and master 9-12 characters of your choice who you find are both easy & comfortable to use as well as synergize. These girls will help form your base 4 damage types team going forward. 2. Some RARE or 5-star weapons in the FOUNDRY menu can be converted into WEAPON RESONANCE. Likewise, most of the G1-G4 stigmas can be converted into STIGMA RESONANCE. 3. Periodically check & refresh the EXCHANGE SHOP as it sometimes spawns signature weapons & stigmas for your favorite characters (keep in mind those are for OLDER characters) which can be bought with either WEAPON or STIGMA RESONANCE. 4. You can convert those 4 color stones from the UNIVERSAL MIRAGE mode into ETHER FUELS. You can always convert the T1s or T2s stones if you are aiming for the G3 stigmas and lack those ETHER FUELS. 4. Elysian Realm, Abyss, and Events are great source of Crystals for F2P. 5. Elysian Realm Mode. If you wish to avoid malding due to RNG mechanics, stick to Shroud Difficulty (1.5X) as this will net you 280 crystals upon clear. Unless you feel confident in your character and the synergy she has with the current Buff & Debuff rotation, then you're free to push for those higher Difficulties. Progressing thru the mode's story itself is also worthwhile as it gives plenty of rewards and resources to make your future runs easier and faster. 6. Abyss (Q-singularis or Q-manifold). If you wish to avoid malding for high ranks, just try to get the PARTICIPATION REWARD clear. In EXALTED ranks (levels 81+ abyss) we usually only need to clear 3 floors to get the participation rewards. 7. MEMORIAL ARENA. Complete a TOTAL of 4 ATTEMPTS MINIMUM to get the PARTICIPATION REWARD if you wish to avoid rage quiting 😂. 8. Your DAILY MISSIONS tab is also a good way to track your progress and earn 60 crystals daily. 9. ASTERITES. These are your "golden tickets" as of the current version. Collect and save up to 60K of these babies and you can buy skins, weapons, and stigmas from previous events thru the TIME CAPSULE shop when it appears.

Also yes as I said in description I wanted to get all chars , so with the 10 pull from 1500 Days reward I got Nun getting incredibly lucky , so was planning to get Vill-V next but unfortunately 6.3 Beta looks more enticing now so maybe will save for that and wait for another rerun of Vill-V

I have 12k currently right after the update , there's 2.5 patches left so that's more than enough time to get all 3 and some gear on top as well. Also since I'm an EU player Global anniversary should help out with Kiana/Mei , also there's a leak going around for a decently long period saying that one of Mei/Kiana is free , if that's true then that makes the job even easier.

@@KARIAP They give you a lot of free supply cards, mats for pri, crystals and a S Rank choice but not for the newest S Ranks ofc, and more so Anni is really good :)

Yes there was , you could get it from shicksal spending event , I skipped FR Skin to get her skin. I am big Yae simp so I was actually blown away when I saw it as an option and immediately got it when I got enough tokens , now luckily for me in recent griseo spending event FR costume was available so I got that too , so now I have best of both worlds XD. But yes , whenever a skin comes for B-Chip it's extremely likely later on it'll come in Shicksal spending event.

@@mayasroomiscool Yes lol , as far as I remember every B-Chip skin came in Shicksal shop so far except ultra recent ones and some rare exceptions , so definitely if you want that skin keep a look out for Shicksal spending events. Of course some skins come for special costume tokens in time capsule like HoV skin did recently so you can hope to get them from there as well , now of course for that you'll need to collect costume tokens from Shicksal spending event or bingos or something like that but yea.

Keqing is collab exclusive and you can never pull/farm her. And for adult bronya she isn't that good anymore. Best if you invest in other characters.

Keqing was event exclusive valk so you could only play her in event stages unlike Asuka. As for SW(Adult Bronya) she's quite good on stuff she deals with but needs full gear and full team and after all that investment she doesn't have lot of coverage so if you are looking for an option with good amount of ice coverage I'll say look at HoH or HoR and keep a keen eye on HoTr (new Bronya in beta who's also a support for fire and lightning while being an ice dps) , all are good options to invest on.

Very good question, so as you can see my first and foremost priority is getting every new valk , and only after that I think about what my DPS's or supports use. To decide that I see what's the biggest hole in my account, for example back when SnS came her gear Paganini was quite important BUT my HoS had candy mei newt and my SA had full shui which even works on SnS to a decent degree and that said my elemental apart from fire gear was disastrous due to lack of turgenev as with each passing day JST newt was getting worse , so I focused all my efforts on pulling for turg and happily skipped Paga and still no regrets. Now let's ignore that I ended up spending 120 pulls for that cursed set and still didn't get the 2 set so now I finished it recently from BP , but that's the idea , I look at the worst hole in my account and try to fill that. As for DPS gear you can see I don't have most recent valks with full gear , and that's because they don't need more than just their wep and the G4 gears are more than good enough (in case of MPE and HoR their full set is farmable). So the only recent full gear DPS investment I made was HoH who is both a big waifu investment and also a very powerful ice dps investment for long term , she could have worked with willows yes but I saved a lot to full gear her so ended up spending all of it and I'll say it was worth it cause I could retain Nirvana using her with f2p supports. But yes all my planning especially in case of DPS comes down to how important is the dps for my account and if she works with farmable gear . If she satisfies both the criteria then I go for the wep of that valk like I did with PE and use them with f2p gear , for rare ones where obtaining full set is very easy or I like to go for them for waifu reasons, I do that like in case of SpA. But yes as you noted support gear is always the top priority though I'm skipping Ai gear cause she works with Turg and lacking Ai gear wouldn't be that big of an issue. But otherwise I did go for SI gear because she was a massive upgrade to the physical team and even before her I went for HoS gear cause that was also quite important. Pulling for gear is hella expensive in crystals, and I'm almost at the point where all my teams are in a decent spot, should start saving for just the valks eventually, and then use f2p gear, maybe spend crystals on what I really simp / enjoy. Should be good to do so eventually since I'll have most bases covered for my teams, getting there. Thanks

@@guillaumebergevin601 ye that's the idea , for example my Lightning team I have 3 DPS valks , FR/HoT/IO , all of them use Handel , just one f2p set and 3 valks are covered. These G4 sets are absurdly strong so investing in valk+wep that can make best use of these is good enough, so good luck with that!

Thanks , as you can see I have over 200m+ coins and a lot of coin bags still left so maxing valks is quite easy for me. It's just a side effect of having disastrous gacha luck which leaves me with not much stuff to raise and also since I've been playing for this long I accumulate too many coins. It's just a matter of time where you also will reach my state , keep up the grind!

If you are going to make the G2 for using it as crafting mat for G3 then no it's not worth , craft G3 directly , it's much more efficient.

What you are seeing in this video is almost minimum graphics and on a phone, on PC with good graphics it looks much much better. Just look up some videos from a player called Akayuki, you'll see what it is like to play on full settings. On a side note, mihoyo is reworking whole game engine and gameplay in next year Feb, it makes it look very close to Star rail if not better. So there's that. But as of now if you want you can see Akayuki's videos to see how it looks in its full glory.

@@midnightbounty7442 Ah ok if you already started playing then yes, early stages and old chars lack good graphics, later stages and chars are much better polished BUT the models and stuff yes they are all rendered on a old engine so it definitely won't look realistic like say HSR, but it will in patch 7.3 where there will be a new engine where the graphics will be on par with modern games. So you need to wait some time if you are looking for better graphics.

Haha no , she's a waifu for me so ever since getting her after a spending event or 2 they started putting her frags in spending event rewards so I used spending events to slowly farm her up , till like SS.2 after that I just overfarmed LE/KMB and salvaged those frags to get gold witch orbs and used those to farm her frags. That's similar to what I did for HoV frags as well cause these days I have way too much AW so no use for that , using that to overfarm KMB/LE and getting HoV frags.

Yes definitely! I already got Aponia and only Vill-V left , actually you don't even have to play as long as I did to get them all , I had some insanely shitty rng phases so ended up losing lot of crystals on gears of some valks and even then I could save enough to get every valk that got released. So all it takes is for you to be able to consistently retain RL and get 500 xtals from ER every week which is quite easy with a well invested account of around an year old.

@@countdracula7896 I've only been playing for like 139 days and I'm almost lvl 88 I grind every reset of the abyss, memorial arena, and ER. I just have really bad luck but I aspire to be like your account now in the future.

She's primarily a lightning and fire damage support , so you can make a team with , and Herrscher of truth . She can also be strong imaginary DPS and for that the team would be something like Pardo , Sushang and Herrscher of Truth. Feel free to ask if you have further doubts.

Haha thanks , but I'm no god really. All it takes is a bit of planning and some guidance from someone actually good at game to understand the game and mechanics related to the game. It might seem trivial but it's not , a simple change in gear or team can make catastrophic changes to the resulting damage , so you need to get to a point where you know what teams work and what don't and also you need to understand what bosses prefer what kind of teams. Also one important thing to note is in-game recommendations are usually very bad , make sure you ask someone good (can retain RL comfortably) before following anything from there. You seem to be interested in doing good at the game so I suggest you take help from someone to learn the game and slowly get better, don't be demotivated because this game is almost impossible to learn without proper external guidance.

focus on one team at a time, what you need is probably support gears, at one point you might need to save up for support gears than new valks and their respective gears (because they don't release whole new meta you absolutely need in new versions, at least...)
