I was supposed to do this around a month ago, so I'm just a bit late to this. I never thought I would reach 100k subscribers, so reaching 150k so soon was a nice surprise. I'm incredibly thankful that you guys are so supportive and that I've been able to make this something of a career.

Question: do you think the game mode world war or something similar to this should return. I personally think it could be very fun with managing players and units especially if they add in ships to this or even use the rank III and rank IV

Do you think blueprint heavy tanks from Ww2/interwar era will make a good addition to the game?

I'm fine with "paper" vehicles as long as the designs are well understood. Meaning that the available blueprints are solid and the specifications are known.

@@Spookston Gaijin removed the Coelian (A tank that had a known hull, a wooden turret mockup and blueprints) for the Ostwind II, which doesn't have any photos and very few reports and it isn't modelled correctly ingame.

Question: What is your opinion on getting a "Small nations" tree, like reclassifying Sweeden to be a Scandinavian tree, or having an Indian Tree which has stuff from India and its neighboring countries, etc., or expanding the Israeli Tree to feature equipment from neighboring countries, without getting repeat stuff because (in my opinion) we really don't need to have another tree that is copy paste again Edit: I understand I dun goofed up, I don't really follow politics at all, as such I did not know that India and Pakistan aren't all too friendly to each other currently. It was just an example of this idea. I also edited grammar

Congrats on the milestones! A question for you that i think many of us ponder: How did you get interested in tanks? For me, it was because my grandfather served in Vietnam as a loader on an M60 Patton.

I actually wasn't very interested in tanks before WT. I was obsessed with planes, so I downloaded WT in 2013 to play air. Eventually I became more interested in tanks.

I love Spookston because he can squeeze a lot of good info in one short video, and I also love the WarThunder gameplay in the background. I honestly get more interesting information from this channel about tanks then I do on the History channel's videos on them. I enjoy this channel, I am always learning something new in every video he posts. By far one of my favorite channels. And this video was quite relatable! Thank you very much Spookston, I am looking forward to attacking the D point with you!

Well congratz on 150k, Question: Theoretically if you were in charge of designing a War Thunder "clone" game what keys features would you: keep, change, discard or new ones would you add, or other drastic features changed?

I'd keep pretty much everything the way it is, but have a less compressed matchmaking system, maybe have lower poly models and a more stylized appearance, and generally improve the soundscape. That's oversimplifying by a lot but those are the biggest things.

@@Spookston If you pick a single tech era, and have a persistent world like planetside2 and got rid of the economics bullshittery you could blow warthunder out of the water. Make it a combined arms vehicle focused game with a conquest combat model. Just charge 20 or 30$ to get the game, and sell side grades and appearance packages to keep the lights on and the devs fed. Games with that model generally persist a long time and maintain huge player bases. The aforementioned Planetside2, Guild Wars 2, etc are all still going strong.

@@Lukos0036 a game like that wouldn't blow anything out of the water. Whenever someone tries to make a game that supposedly will kill its competitor, it never does and actually fails. WT is here to stay whether you like the game and gaijin or not

@@piscessoedroen Round based matches with lettered capture points miss the point and purpose of tanks. If WT and other arena games and their toxic fans have shown anything it is that as a game mode it is fundamentally flawed and impossible to balance around with that many vehicles. Adding to that the messy economy bullshit repair costs and lazy devs it's a small miracle WT exists at all.

There's so much stuff that could make the game better. - Making simulator give you battle pass points, so more people are liable to play it. - letting you donate spawn-points to unlucky squad or team mates, to keep them in the match But people who make the shots don't care, really.

Just curious, but would you dive into certain military tank commanders history? I really like your history videos (it always sounds like a documentary to me), so I kind of wanna get to know more tank commanders than some of the more famous ones like Carius or Wittman. what would you say is the greatest "bandaid" fix to the issue of postwar tanks meeting latewar tanks (specifically the 6.3-7.7 area) given the fact that BR decompression is a less likely thing to come?
