Back in the US Army we had a saying.. "complacency k*lls" ... meaning you do something enough times where it becomes repetitive you tend to skip safety steps.. like proper safety eye protection.. agreed .. it would be sad to hear that something awful befell critical working on a project.. be safe... love the old vids / HW3 etc .. very excited to see where this channel goes in the future.. here's to many more years.. safely .. hopefully.. ❤
That is insane, you could gear it lower (numerically) and go even higher top speed, that might calm it down slightly on acceleration but you would still be going 100+ mph in 2 seconds 🔥
I don't follow C-boys, but it'd be a shame if they didn't/don't mention you for the inspiration. There is zero reason to not name drop big channels, small channels, it all helps you achieve more subs and new viewers.

My first thought was to put the battery where the petrol.tank sits, help even out the weight distribution, but it is massive but an awesome bit of kit mate, sick

The cutting pipe in half can work as a seccondary way of holding the motor. If you have some large threads that pull the motor foward to a spot on the frame that is welded in place. Large industrial motors will often use that type of mount

I'm loving the channel man. I just wanted to point out something. When painting bare plastic like the bumper, it is best to spray the bumper with adhesive promoter before painting. But it is just a kart 😂. But that's gonna be sick 💯

Yeah i honestly dont know how to do it any other way, its an electric throttle so there is no wire 😅 Yeah it would have been nice but it doesnt fit there unfortunally 🥲
You should never heat plastic to make it "fresh" it pulls the moisture out from it. That is why it looks better, but when that dries you are left with dried plastic that cracks easy... better to re apply moisture instead to make it look fresh :)
Heating plastic to restore it is a temporary "fix" that will result in a weaker part and it will rapidly fade anyway. The damage done by UV happens at a molecular level and theres no real way to undo it.

Yea torch works on plastic but it fades back pretty quick fr and just tip for welding if you go forward and back on bead and keep it consistent will make for a much nicer bead

@@critical I was born blind in one eye and caught a flying nail in my good one, I got away with it, only damage was to the tear duct so I have to occasionally use eye drops. I was so freaked out when it happened that I went into a semi faint which made me go blind, walked into the hospital assisted but when I got into the waiting room I fainted properly, freaked the shit out of the staff as all they saw was an unconscious person with blood coming out of one eye. My eye looked demonic for a couple of days but eyes heal quick, if they heal...

Little advice, in the future plug ur welder straight into the outlet on the wall instead of the power strip and i promise you youll see a big difference… less connections the better
