R D P Yep. That's what should have happened at the end of WW2 because the soviets had attacked Berlin in 'kill the last man, kill all Germans' as they inched towards Berlin. In Seelow Heights they did just that but were twarfed by the mightest of all German power. Pity there weren't enough Germans to keep pushing the Soviets out because the largest army was in France fighting against the Normandy invasion. Had the stupid Allies not invaded that day in June, the Soviets wouldn't have attacked, I meant they wouldn't have dared getting close past the Oden River. Instead, that invasion in Normandy gave the soviets the opportunity to break through the defence after the Oden River and take Berlin for themselves and the Idiot Allies allowed them to stay and claim half of Berlin as communist and erecting a wall. A Germany divided, a Germany destroyed, broken families, a torn and broken Nation. All the German soldiers slaughtered at Seelow Heights never made it back home to Berlin because they fought to the last man in an attempt to stop the Soviets from sacking the city, unbeknown to them that the Allies were also advancing towards Berlin to meet the hypocrites. It's sad really.
Spawning every wave in the bases firing range might not be the best idea. Adjusting the map might make it more entertaining since every wave won't get instantly destroyed. Just an idea.
You should do a Japanese invasion of New Zealand, this invasion never happened and was probably never planned, but by 1940 New Zealand was setting up coastal gun emplacements and prepared to defend to the last man
Diplex An idea I have, Red Rising; Nighttime urban combat in civilian city under siege as hidden extremist militia forces dug into the city earlier begin their assault on major populated areas. (Insert Military here) are to clear the main bridge so that their armor can move into the city. The allies would be under heavy sniper fire and mg nest are hidden in buildings. Just a suggestion, love your work.
Your answer, Diplex, is MLRS. This is why some people complained about previous german superfortress is: during american wave MLRS was used against defenders, during russian wave (which by many means was strongest of all) MLRS was used against attackers. Sadly, MLRS in this game isn't a balanced type of weapon and in most cases will simply blast any target, spare for superheavies.
Now you understand why you have an artillery barrage before you attack a fortified position. Also you might try to breakdown the attack in to quarters. have each quarter attack straight forward in stead of them all going for the center.
Nice Battle, shows both why forts we a thing for most of history, but also why after world war 1 long sieges were for the most part a thing of the past and funny thing is that for world war 2 that frame rate killing barrage at the end would be rather light, only about 1000 munitions and no planes used ;).
I'd like to see a Red rising rebel group, VS something from starwars, that would be pretty cool. I.E. This band of rebels hated the rule they were put under by the new government implemented by -insert- and took up arms. That would be nice to see, a weakly armed but numerous army of rebels vs a small but well armed group of something from starwars.
Diplex could you share the map? Like I love your videos and I completely suck at map making but I'm okay when it comes to scripting so I've always wanted to use one of your fortresses to make my own battles. But anyways keep up the great work :)

diplex you should have turned down the speed when you had those rockets launch and turned on some epic music with some slow pans as we watched the rocket rain come down.
How do you make them push foward? I set them on no retreat and put advance ratio very high. And ofc the enemies are on another team. But they just stand there. Yeah they fire at them but no much more.

later on there is a defensive mission i would like to see set in 2017, with Americans, Brits, romanians, and polish as the defensive units against the russains, of course 1 to 3 ratio where nato is out numbered due to them being on the defense. P.S. This isn't meant to piss people off, I think it would be cool to see.
The main issue is the US had a metric fuckload of rockets to carpet bomb with and the Brits/Soviets didn’t, would have gone differently if there were katyushas deployed

Like I love your vids and all man but can we see different things besides Star Wars and ww2 stuff, more story and more modern day things like you used to do , ww2 is cool and all but it just gets a little drug out I feel like it's the same thing every video a huge tank battle or someone assaulting a huge fortress, we've seen this.
