The shape is Arabesque- snake family is all grown and scattered all over the United States so it’s difficult to get together for the holidays. However we each meet on a FaceTime call during the day just to catch up and see the decorations that they put up. In southwest Florida we are recovering from hurricane Ian. Many homes were lost and of course their possession’s. It’s going to be a very sad time for many families. There are several charitable organizations who get together decorations from all types of sources for those homes and those families who have absolutely nothing left. So most of my artistic friends are making ornaments on a small stand to take home for a special decoration just in case that is all they have . I bought your mold from last year and it is doing a stellar job keeping up with my consistent pouring. I love your videos and your creativity. It has brought me great joy this year.
I was in the hospital for hip replacement. When I came home my hubby had put up our Xmas tree. So sweet of him. Love your work. Great ideas. Thank you.
They look great! A mold of a mini version of these would be really nice too, for people who have those little tabletop trees and want custom ornaments for them or for jewelry! 😍
@@kellyt.florko5312 I live alone and I'm kinda antisocial so usually I only put up one of those mini tabletop trees for Christmas since even my half sized tree seems like too much work for just me to enjoy. 😅 I wouldn't mind being able to easily make different ornaments every year for it though which is why I figured a mini version of the mold would be great. Not much resin required (or clay if you prefer) but still plenty of fun and lots of customization possible on a smaller scale. 😉👍 Plus, jewelry might be cute too, though I think only pendants would make sense at the size needed for a tabletop tree unless you like giant earrings, lol. 😂
I used to love Xmas when my dad was alive but once he passed it just wasn't the same and haven't celebrated Xmas but now I have a son I will be doing Xmas again and this year we are going to decorate the tree together ❤️
Lovely ornaments! Sold our 50 year-old big tree because it took 3 days to put up and 3 days to put away. Too hard for me to do. After we move, I hope to get a 4-foot tree to put on our round coffee table. Will leave it decorated and cover it with plastic and put in extra bedroom for the rest of the year. My mother-in-law did that all the time and I was so jealous !
Oh, Julie, what a wonderful mold! I LOVE how these all turned out! They would make great gift tags, too! I did *try* to jump in to help, but somebody beat me to it. 😆 We don't do much for Christmas, anymore, but we sure used to! Deco everywhere, loads of yummy snacks, finger foods, candy, sweet quick breads... ❤ I miss my drool-worthy pumpkin bread most of all! Hope I feel up to doing more this Christmas, as it's my favorite time of the year, too. 😊❤
Very pretty, Julie! I’ve noticed something over the months watching you that you are also very talented with displaying your art- the staging of your art is creative and beautiful. I love seeing that as much as the art itself 😃
I dont have the family round as I dont live near by but I do have a day putting up the decs and the tree which I made lots of snowflake baubles for last year :) hope you do your christmas recipes again this year :) love the tiny snowflake one
Oh Julie. Love when you get into the Christmas spirit. That means you're going to start cooking. Hope you'll share your recipes again. Live this mold, love that it's not super deep and the shapes are different than others out there.
Love all those shapes. 8 years ago, I had to move about 900 miles away from all my family. Since then, I haven't felt very "festive" so I don't do any kind of decorating for the holidays. I get my enjoyment from seeing others decorations. Before then, the weekend after Thanksgiving is when we got the tree out and all the decorations. My daughter and I did most of the tree trimming while the boys hung all the outside lights and yard ornaments. Good times. I am rarely on Facebook but would love to see a pic of your tree when you get it up. Could you post it on your community wall?
I think if you swirl some beautiful colored, alcohol inks before you put in the glitter, it would really make them pop🥰 Pink and gold and silver and blues …light blue even traditional, reds and greens would be very beautiful. Specially, with the gold, trim and designs inside the resin painted with alcohol inks.
They are all so very pretty! I love the one with the snowflakes and the one that has what looks like iridescent bluish flakes in it. They are amazing! Your Christmas tree decorating day sounds like such a fun day. The word you were trying to think of was arabesque if no one else mentioned it. Tough word to remember!
Lovely ornaments. Since my parents passed I do not decorate for any holidays, all my family is gone. I usually make jewelry, work with resin, paint furniture, etc over the holidays. Before retirement I always worked holidays. It works for me.
I also like silver and blues. These turned out well, even with the cloudy patches in some. RU-vid sent me to your #1023 pour of Christmas things, some of the blues in that are just so rich and bold.
So pretty. You will have to put your grandsons first Christmas on one of your ornaments! Our Grandson is 2 and a half on Christmas Day. It will be an exciting year this year. Love from NB Canada!
Julie, these ornaments are so lovely. The shapes are traditional but the resin brings them up to date. I was thinking you could use a silver paint pen on the sides like you do some of your coasters in gold. Your tree is going to be beautiful and I definitely want to see pictures of it.
Very pretty Julie. I would love to visit Australia one day. Your ornament mold is lovely. Love the silver. I can invision those made with lipstick red resin paste with chunky glitter in them. 🥰
They are all cool. My fave is the one with the blue flecks in it. I like the microbrews and snowflakes too. Love all the shapes. Great job Julie. This is a mold I will have to order as well. 💕🤗
What a great mold i think i like the opal tinted one the best also i think a tiny little bow would be nice on the top of the piece but they are all very pretty !
Ohhhhhh, sounds like a wonderful, wonderful day. I love family traditions! These are gorgeous, the sparkles are wonderful. xoxoxoxo Found your words for you: Arabesque shape and driftwood, lol. Muah!
Absolutely LOVE these. They will look spectacular on your tree!! Can't wait to see all the different colors you will use. I wish shipping to the US wasn't so expensive 😞
My tree is already up. I usually have. 6 ft tree but this year we will be in Mareeba 1 hour North of Cairns so I only have a 4 ft tree this time. My colour this year is Rose Gold. I have made your Druzy decorations on the tree and they look great with the lights shining through them. We are off on a cruise to NZ next week.
Unfortunately No one helps me put our tree/s up, I do it all myself, I will see my son and his Fiancé Christmas Day this year, as the boy's father passed away on Christmas eve 2021, that was when I would cook Christmas dinner. I have done this every year for the last 21 years. I keep all the special baubles I have had made every year and put them on the tree.
My tree has only handmade ornaments on it from my grandparents to my parents my brothers and sisters Foster brothers and sisters we all made ornaments and I have a lot of handmade ornaments on my tree the least perfect ones are the best ones and they love seeing them on my tree they said oh there's mine it's great Christmas is a great holiday
I think those are lovely! I would love to see them on a tree! I just started watching you and you make it look so easy. I'm sure it isn't and probably expensive. I'm a crafter at heart and I've started so many different types of crafts. I need a house with a craft room so I have space for all my stuff!! I noticed on some of them they have a line down the middle. Is there a way to get rid of that and mix it around or something? You said there were bubbles because you were doing something. What would you have done to remove the bubbles? It's that when you use that heat gun or a flame torch? The process is fascinating to me. I love learning about these things ❤️
Absolutely Gorgeous Julie 😍 We really love the holidays. On November 24th is Thanksgiving here in the USA. Thats really cool about your family trimming the tree. December 1st is a Thursday so will you Decorate it over the 1st weekend of December? We have family in Iowa and we live in Winter Park Florida it's a suburb of Orlando Florida. So we trim our tree with the family who lives down here. We usually go up to Iowa like a few days before Christmas and til the day after New Years Day or they come down here. For the same amount of time. We love Christmas baking
Your Christmas ornaments are gorgeous I was wondering do you sell those I have a great-granddaughter who will be turning four on July the second she loves decorating the Christmas tree those would look on her tree
Just hubby n I. We don’t. Put a tree up. He has a. 1 tiny 1/2 foot tree with lights he puts on the fireplace. Kids don’t come over haven’t seen them in 2 years
So sad but you have each other. I am in AZ and my son and his family are in AK. I live with my Mom. My son does not come down. They finally visited this past Jan. Was 13 years since seeing him. My grandson was 13 and granddaughter 11. Was the first time I had ever seen her, other than pics online. We got to spend 4.5 hours with them out of the 10 days they were in the state. But, that 4.5 hours was the best time ever. I was over the moon.
