2 of the best places to fish in the country "and their are others" pend Oreille and Idaho. Have seen bigger fish from smaller places but this is a good one.

They need a Pend Oreille Streaker in red Kokanee Spawning colors.

What kind/brand of flies are those? Like a tandem streamer? I’ve been looking for different flies to try.

Hello Naim Liss, thanks for checking out our video. You can use a trolling board off the side of the boat and attach as many as 4 lines with clips to the board. When the fish hits, the release lets go of the line and fish on. Hope this helps, if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us at support@north40.com. Thanks!

This lake is Pend O'reille, ID in northern Idaho in the town of Sandpoint. Awesome spot for big smallmouth and giant rainbows.

...and Lakers (which have a bounty on them), Kokanee, and Pike and Walleye which escaped Cabinet Gorge and Nixon Rapid Dams. My cousin caught a 30 lbs Lake Trout there

If youre trying to keep the fish healthy in the livewell, why would you hook the scale into his gills like that? That's just negligent handling...

What time of year? What depth? And how deep does that lake get?

Hello Kevin, Thanks for checking out the video. I see you have some questions about the trip. When it comes to lake Pend Oreille it is 43 miles long, and 1,150 feet deep in some regions. This trip was filmed late in the year and published in January. As for the fishing specs, I do not have this information. Thanks again,

north40.fish so they are trolling flies/small streamers straight up off the down riggers? No flasher? What about the planer boards? Do you know what type of planer boards those are? Very awesome video.

Hey Kevin... this is Sam from the video. Yes we troll flies directly off the planer boards but generally we are trolling plugs directly off the down riggers (correct we usually are not using a flasher). However, we catch way more fish off the flies on the planer boards which are just barely below the surface. The planer boards are all home made and I'm not sure they are sold commercially. I see there are some similar looking ones made of plastic sold online. They are basically 2 16-18" pieces of wood connected together with threaded rod and wing nuts. Thanks for watching the video Kevin... let me know if you have any more questions.
