16.06. DAY 2: Bucharest - Cheia Pass - Sighisoara - 300km
Trading a stunning cityscape for the thrill of a winding mountain road, we roared towards Sighisoara on our motorcycles. The scenery? Breathtaking. The company? Unforgettable.
Zigzagging through the narrow streets of this medieval town, we delved into the fascinating tales of Vlad the Impaler, the infamous inspiration for Count Dracula. Turns out, this place wasn't just his stomping ground - it was his birthplace!
With the sun high in the sky, we explored the ancient Sighisoara citadel, marveling at The Clock Tower, wincing at The Torture Room, and geeking out over The Medieval Weapon Collection. As night fell, we settled into the heart of this historic city, ready to raise a toast (or ten) to the legendary Dracula - with plenty of beer, of course!
