@@Will-Max yeah i noticed that with birds being excluded in this case and that might be because of that random encounters with mexican guy challenging you to shoot birds. While doing that it would be nonsensical if we lost honor so that might be why they dont count
@@PJ31666 exactly, the guy who originally commented might be talking about that clip where arthur punches a horse because "F" key in RDR2 is to punch while in GTAV it is to get inside a vehicle. Players returning/playing for the first time RDR2 after GTAV, will be used to pressing "F" to mount the horse while applying GTA's controls which players end up in punching the horse. Atleast that is what i think the guy commented. I think u r talking abt the clip where the timestamp is which created confusion.
While punching my horse to get it out of the doorway to a store, I also discovered that if your unmanned horse runs someone over in the resulting panic, you’ll get blamed for murder.
Number 15 is partially correct. When it comes to making NPC’s react this way any long-arm works, not just the double barrel shotgun. Fun fact: You can press your melee button and your character will push them to the ground, you can continue to do this, even being able to push them up against a wall in a different way compared to how you would usually do so. This mechanic also works in red dead online and story mode.

For the last one, you can do a similar thing my also just going into cinematic mode, as long as before you go into it, your horse has a lot of stamina, it will work forever, and once you exit out of it, it will say that it's at zero so i guess that's a downside.
you grab them with Shift & E then press E again while holding S (backwards) practicing unarmed combat with a trainer should do the trick to get used to it
Something i haven't seen much: In one of the trailers Arthur lifts a guy up against a wall, the sequence in the trailer is very brief but it is possible to do in the game, grapple someone close to a wall and push them up against it, then push and hold triangle/y and the player will strangle the npc with their feet in the air against the wall

A lot of this stuff is legit just nothing. The drifting is literally taught to you, the horse breaking is, the book browse is just literally visible and not advanced at all, the sitting on the strawberry police station can also be done on the valentine bank, the ropes on the log cart is just details not "advanced game mechanics", the getting on your horse faster is slower than sprinting and getting on your horse which causes it to immediately start moving, punching horses, man you can punch every animal you see if it allows you to get close enough, and throwing tomahawks while riding a horse is nothing special considering you can use any weapon, including melee weapons when on your horse. Only interesting thing is the one where you force lawmen to surrender. And the one where you drop an enemy on the floor and pick them back up, and even then, you just need to press L3, no other inputs. If you slam an enemy into a well sized puddle of water with it, you can auto drown them with the animation tommy uses on arthur in the bar mission. I genuinely expected proper mechanics that not even i knew.
The skinning instantly I have been doing it 2 hours into my first playthrough I found it out while skinning a deer also if you walk your horse over the animal to were the animal is in between the front legs and back legs then walk to your horses rear and start skinning you won’t even pull out your knife you’ll just bend down and take the skin
