I'm not a snooker player but have given it a go - I maintain, the absolute level of skill and precision that O'Sullivan displays is just absolutely mind-boggling, the accuracy and cue ball control - he ought to win the Nobel Prize for Sport if there is ever such a thing. An absolute genius.
Ronnie knows better than anyone about angles, And the way he uses angles for the next several plays. I'll bet he did well in maths -- or could and should have done.
Please tell me one snooker player who makes you think it's the easiest game in the world, one please. Only Rony can do it, and it shows that he is alone at the top by a long distance from everyone else!
@@nikhilpise5648 Excluded of Judd Trump who I personally consider untalented (but also everyone who plays billiard at a serious level), I agree with you my friend.
@@vilm1234 you should see Judd in 2011 then when he reached the finals against John. If that isn't talent idk what is. Pretty sure Kyren Wilson said Judd made 17 centuries in 25 frames that they played. Most world champions are extremely talented, him, more than the others. Tbh I believe peak Judd outplays everyone ever, with his cue power, striking the ball under control becomes awfully easy.
@@nikhilpise5648 Dear Friend, there is a huge difference between this is subjective and which indicates knowledge and objectivity. Everyone has the right to say that, I like him or I don't like him, but to say objectively that he is good you can only do it when you know the sport very well and know how to play also very good, maybe you will know that there are players in the background who could beat any Judd very easily but they don't like money fights so people don't know them. And one last thing for you to benefit from this little conversation we had. Answer to the following question: which player when you see him play gives you the feeling that snooker is the simplest game and that anyone can play like that? WHO; When you answer to this question then you will understand why Judd has NO talent while Rony O Sullivan is THE TALENT! ! ! Thanks for the little conversation
Fora anyone interested in the game, i Played both Snooker and Golf, they are both almost totally games of skill with power added, but with snooker one of the diffs is that for Pro's, and especially top players, that some dont mix with the other players as you want to keep a air of invincibility and also you have to put your "friend" into cruel snookers wheres golf you just play your ball and really have nothing to do with the opponent you are playing in stoke play except to score lowest in the field to win. Also with snooker, you have to be dead still except for your eyes and cuing arm can move wheres in golf, your whole body moves but in fully coordinated way made easier with talent and lots of practice and skills. Both games are very difficult for diff reasons and i guess a century at Snooker is about the same as a hmm 70 or less in Golf, but not a 65 as that really takes very tight skill, and the best bounces and "rubs" of the course over a couple of hours play. Golf also you zone in and out of concentrations, wheres snooker, you have to be 100% concentration and calmness or you will "move" on the stroke and you sit back down. Very robotic game and golf, if you screw up, you can play a recovery shot and get going again. In fact the club Pro where i played started off with a double bogie and end up with the course record 63?? and i have started a comp with bogies and ended up winning! so both games are same in many ways yet but also very different.....Osullivan is like Tiger Woods, so good that you can only really beat them when they ease off a little , they are that good and O'sullivan today is so deadly when hes in the mood diff the Davis and Hendry, his sheer total of centuries tells of his skill set and total concentration...
