I (an INTJ) once shocked an ESTP friend of mine when I revealed that I never celebrated my 30th birthday and just went to work like it was any other day. so.... I guess I'm the only INTP in the world who actually looks forward to their birthday? Maybe because it's the only day in the year I get to feel special (although who am I kidding, I always feel special) and get to see old friends I haven't seen in a year?

I remember being very happy when I turned 30 because it meant people were finally going to start taking me seriously as an adult. (INFJ)

First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🌺🥂🎂 I laughed so much at the ISFJ one, but as an otaku manga illustrator, I can't relate. My reaction to turning 30 was making another marathon of the BL Japanese series "Cherry magic! Thirty years of virginity can make you a wizard?!" Spoiler alert. Nope. Still not a wizard. Jokes aside, since I got to this point recently, I still can't really grasp the idea. It's not like anything changed, except paperwork related things. On one side, despite my hobbies, I am mature enough to feel it's fitting, but on the other hand, my lifestyle is more of a child's as, for financial reasons, (my country's economy is a nightmare), I have returned to my family's house after living 5 years on my own... It's difficult to grow this way. And to keep the contradictions going, on the one side I am quite accomplished when it comes to my professions, as I have aced my studies, I have published literally 12 books, I have had my own plays on theatre stage and I work as an illustrator for many books and magazines, but on the other hand, I don't make more than 140 to 200 euro per month, (unless there is a big blast of a book which pays much more but that may happen just 1-3 times per year) so the future scares me, as I won't be able to make it financially on my own. And that's a nightmare for ISFJs... At least I don't wish to marry or have a family, so I don't have this kind of crisis, some other ladies might do at their 30s. Anyways, Happy 30s to Dear Kristin 🌹

INTP here, much closer to fifty than thirty. We all live and die by a hair's breadth, and eventually, we either a) die or b) get old, then die. Human life, both uncertain and doomed at the same time, is a precious thing, not to be stolen or thrown away. Thirty can be a great age. I hope your thirties bring you much joy and fulfillment in your life, and I hope you get the opportunity, decades from now, to look back at your thirties with satisfaction, as a spry centenarian.

Thank you Kristin for this lovely video. It’s beautiful and came at just the right time too. I turned thirty late last month and it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions leading up to it and some after. However, I’ve come more to terms with it, seeing the positives of the age…and I want to share that with the world so I created an entire therapeutic board game to illustrate my “wisdom”. LOL. As an INFP, I literally started questioning “what does turning 30 mean? How do I feel about it?” and wrote down all my random answers in the memo months ahead before my birthday. Finally my curiosity for “meaning” broke my introvert nature. I ended up listed 7 questions about the meaning/feeling of 30 and filmed almost 30 of my friends, recorded their answers in words and videos. I think it used up my quota for social for the next whole year, but it worth everything.

THE ISFP IS SO ACCURATE 😂 that’s my internal voice when I’m journaling.

Weirdly enough am not 30 but when I turned 18 I had a similar reaction to ENFJ the way how I see it I was like "okay once you finish university until 23 or 24 years old things drastically change but after 25 age is just a number. So I guess I related with ENFJ and ENTP xD
