Tony Hicks is a superb guitarist! He brought his banjo into the pop scene back in the 60's when no one else even thought of it. Tony your the best!! I had such a crush on you as a young girl. I have loved the Hollies since I was 14 and still do! I like the current Hollies. But the original Hollies were the best to me! Alan Clarke, great lead vocals, Graham Nash, exceptional vocals, Tony Hicks, my fav, Bobby Elliot, fantastic drummer and Bern Calvert, great bass player.

Tony's fantastic. One of the best guitarists of all time just like the Hollies were the Best band to come out of the British Invasion. Far better than the Beatles as far as I'm concerned and so under rated. Allan Clarke had the best voice of that era and its just not the Hollies without him. The singing just isn't up to par. Not even close. Very disappointing.
I have loved Tony Hicks since I was 12 and I love the Hollies to this day but I wished I had seen them live in the 60,s I think he is a genuine person .
