Dachshunds are so unique in their personality and their eyes are so expressive, in a dachshund they truly are the windows to the soul. My Gitsy, a red short hair miniature dachshund just turned 10 Jan 1st, I've had her since she was 5 months old. After I lost my mixed breed Max (he looked like a cross between a golden retriever and a corgi, my pooh bear I called him)I had a hard time coping with the loss. My brother called me and said he had a 5 month old mini doxie from a litter they kept but because he knew I was grieving told me if I wanted her she was mine. I wasnt ready for another fur baby but something kept pushing me to at least go meet so I finally did. As soon as I sat down on my brothers sofa in came running this little red dog, jumping on me giving me kisses which they said she never acts that way at first with strangers, so my little girl chose me and she immediately made her way in my heart and took up residence. I call her my little meant to be and i can't imagine what life would be without her being in it, I'm blessed for ever how long I have with her and thankful she loves me so much . I love Dachshunds!!!! They are the best!!!! I had 4, but they have gone to rest now. I miss them so much. He is a beautiful guy & you will have many years to enjoy him. Mine were almost 16 years old when they had to go. I enjoyed your video of your life beginning! hugs, Judie

My sister had a mini dachshund pug mix. Her name was Baby. She was so tiny and we loved her for 20 years! She was very bossy and so sassy but adorable at the same time. Lou is absolutely precious! Thanks for sharing your fun adventure! 🐾❤️🐾
Such loving and intelligent little dogs and so very affectionate. Harry’s is our first but he won’t be our last I’m sure. Your baby is beautiful and I just know how much you love Louis. ❤️
I have a long-haired black & tan miniature Dachshund. His name is Devin and he is the love of my heart. He is 11-1/2 and he gets around like he’s 2. Your Louis is a wonderfully handsome boy. Dachshunds are unerringly loyal and devoted to their hoomans, and it is obvious that young Louis will be as well. I wish you many happy, healthy years with Louis. Thanks for sharing him. BTW, Grandma is a beautiful lady. I never had a grandmother around, so it always makes me happy to someone else’s. Can’t wait for the next video!

i have a dachshund whos my sister and she will drink coffee. she also knows how to jump from the top of one of the 2 small couches to the tall table, since they're very close together.
Aw so cute , we almost got one of these but I'm afraid to say a wee frenchie stole our heart. x. I look forward to following progress of the wee darling
He is just precious! Never saw a bow tie worn so well 👍🏻. My sweetheart mini of 15 years, just passed last week, i miss her so much. I will get another after a little while because i cant be without one, they just make life happier. Love the scenery, im a new sub, are you in England?
@@Paulg13456 oh im so sorry for your terrible loss, i know how heartbreaking it is to lose such beloved friends and members of the family, i think of My Dear ( thats what we called her instead of her name) every day. its almost a year now and we got a new dachshund puppy who is so sweet,its nice to have a dog in the house again, i hope you will know that happiness again too,take care
