Being on the show is a huge opportunity in itself; the same thing happened to Jennifer Hudson on American Idol and she became successful beyond her wildest dreams and is an EGOT winner, which is no easy feat. Lara already got a recording deal with Sony and she's just getting started; she's going to do just fine.

When I said she is still very young, I meant she has all the time and energy to do it all over. Think of older contestants who have family to feed and take care and can hardly focus on competing. That is what I meant. Age matters!

I think her downfall was how unaware of herself she was. Her potential is crazy but she doesn't know her brand, her style, what she stands for. She's not "marketable", Yet. This girl was 16 at the time so of course this is normal, just give her time and she might just take over the world.

Sometimes you don't need to win a competition to be a winner. She havea great voice which no one can stop but only if she don't make effort. I think she will get chances in plenty.. u can't have a better voice as much as you train..

I remembered one of the judges said that they usually let those who are so good go because there's nothing more that they can teach them. Technique wise and talent wise they have it all and so they just needed to be signed up. So the judges often chose those who are good but lacks the finnesse and technique so they can teach them to grow throughout their journey. Kinda like cassedy pope

When I was in Fiji the women there have their hair naturally like in the 70 here in the US and many are just "exotic" in their natural beauty. Island beauty, grace, athletic, graceful, animalistic if you will but not base or ego driven... just NATURAL amazing beauty, alluring, exquisite. Whoever thinks it is an insult must be from the jealous and victims generation and never been to any islands and seen people in their natural habitat. People think singing 'in cursive' makes them sound more seasoned and jazzier, but it's almost always younger less seasoned singers attempting it. She learned quickly and picked up direction really well from her coach, that's all. She improved, alot, really quickly, at a really young age. It's commendable, it's not... Just her accent lmao, or every Aussie would sound like that when singing xD

Even though she is such an amazing artist, her voice is very similar to other artists which is maybe why not many judges put bets on her unique voice

She’s 16 though, we must remember. I agree however, the best judge for her would be someone who could help her confidence blossom on stage. She’ll really take off to places musically she dreamed of then
