Happy New Year everyone, thanks for all the support this year. Looking forward to making more videos like this (and bringing back vlogs) in 2024! Massive thanks to our friend Lewis Martin who took care of all the snowmobile logistics, guided us through the wilderness, and put up with a camera in his face for a week straight 😂 We will be back with uploads about mid January after a short break! 🙏🏼🖤
Very nice if you would like to come up to New Brunswick and take a look around I’d love to be your guide all accommodations and guiding services will be supplied at no cost !! Just some beautiful country and some great fishing hope to here back from yahs
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, as a fellow former BMX kid, please make a documentary covering the old Newfoundland BMX scene. Like get the gang back together, show us your clips, get on a bike, just really give us something around Chris's BMX days!
For lack of a better word better term to see Chris not be professional and just be out there having a blast it’s truly euphoric to watch this was awesome guys 🙌🏽❤️
31:20 I laughed out loud! Classic Canadian moment. It could be 40º below zero, but you always think it's "warmer out" for the first 45 seconds you're back outside. I loved that SO MUCH!
As a Norwegian who also hates winter I love how you guys talk openly about it, and try to instead embrace it. Such a. Good message, and just a stunning visual presentation. Keep creating these beautiful films! Happy new year! 🎉
Another brilliant video! Love the way you find a ‘thread’ and develop a story throughout! Also, truly appreciate your authenticity and sharing your anxiety and how you push through. Much respect.❤
I appreciate the shots of the car driving by. There was one going up a hill at night and another when you're pulling into the gas station. Are you guys like, "Let me get out in this cold real quick to get this shot. Turn around and drive back through again."?
Oh my gosh! I finally got time to sit down and watch this and OMG! I LOVE it! Becki is an amazing storyteller, videographer, editor, etc. I want to do all of these things with you and wish I was in your videos!
Awesome! Reliving my childhood years back home through this video as we sup our morning tea here in the green GTA Arrg! No snowmobiling for us here in Ontario. I guess we lived an Epic life back home minus the technology and high performance sleds. :) Rugged Edge Folks are great. ❤ After school and weekends we spent skidooing the backcountry. Thanks for sharing this fantastic adventure with us. ❤
im moving to Minnesota from Texas and was looking for what winter sport to get into and congrats ive done nothing but look for snowmobiles and watch videos since this one. amazing film guys. wow
Hello Becki and Chris, This documentary has inspired me to go out and enjoy winter more and try things like this. Although it was not a video series like the other ones, it was pretty nice and fun. I hope to see the next series or documentary soon, I know you guys must be working on something as always. Love your work, it's amazing and definitely inspiring. ✨✨
Well that was awesome to watch guys!! Nice production all around. I can’t wait for us to go out on the sleds again here in the Cape Breton NS highlands. Which has similar conditions to western NFLD. We made a video a couple winters ago. - nothing like yours. It ain’t easy to do. I know the challenges of shooting - cold - batteries.. trying to use camera buttons with gloves on. You guys nailed it! ❤❤
This was such a joy to watch! Everything was shot so beautifully and I especially loved the ending credits photos! I’ve been feeling a little down recently and this has inspired me to get back out there and do things that make me happy again! You guys make incredible films!
Great video, looks like a fantastic snowmobile adventure, the snow and scenery is beautiful, you have love Newfoundland such a beautiful part of Canada 🍁👍👍
agree! Crazy great work @beckiandchris ! I couldn't believe after the huge heading west project to see a docu film ending the year! Love the films guys!
With the proper clothing winter is so beautiful and snowmobiling can be fun even if you are not a daredevil. I would have so gone down that waterfall but then I might have needed a chopper to get me out. Have a Happy, Healthy and Safe 2024.
Finally able to see the video. It was so awesome. After moving away from the Prairies I do miss the usual fun people have in the snow at winter. Chris was having so much fun and it was so good to hear his boyish laugh. Heartwarming for sure!
Amazing footage and fun adventrure, thanks for sharing. I watced this start to finish over several days. Can't wait to see what you get up to later this year!
In St. John's today filming for a short Doc on dying and death. I am so glad this came into my feed! It has been a while since I have connected with your channel and it is fitting! I can't wait to watch this on the plane home to Halifax this evening. PeteInHalifax. Congratulations by the way!
This has been such a wonderful film! I love snow but I was never the type that did anything beyond building snowmen, having snow fights and going ice-skating once in a while. So seeing you all enjoy it so much made me even more excited for the snow to come. It's amazing that the production quality feels like a high-end TV documentary but it has the familiarity of old friends on a week long trip 😊 Can't wait for what 2024 will bring!
Becki and Chris, I loved watching your Bluebird video. My series just finished on my channel from my wife and I's 10 day trip from the US to Newfoundland on our Adventure Bike. I found Newfoundland to be so amazing and thank you to your previous videos about Newfoundland. We have already bought our ferry trip tickets for next year and we plan to stay even longer. Be safe in all your adventures and thank you for the videos!!
Way to go, Becki & Chris, what a fun movie. Every one of your videos seems to top the one before. Love the editing, too. Chris' laugh is infectious and Lewis did his part in keeping you safe. And it looks like Becki could relax and enjoy the scenery more than during your Heading West adventure. I'm looking forward to your next trip - along with the normal content, natch.
The audacity of you to not dedicate a whole story beat to that bird landing in your hand?? (Another amazing adventure film, guys. Love it every time!!)
I loved every second of this! I am a winter lover but this made me desperate for some winter adventures this year! Also we need more details on Becki’s Snow White moment with the bird😂
TIL it's skid-oo rather than ski-doo. As a hater of winter, I probably never would've learned if not for this awesome video. Looks like you all had an absolute blast!
This was excellent. It looked like a network production! Pace was awesome, just a beautiful edit. And adding a guest that you can center the episode around is a great format. Snowmobiling would be fun, but going off into the wilderness in the middle of winter wouldn’t be on my list. Ha! Loved the scenery but kept thinking about a bear coming at you from the whiteout. Hopefully they were all hibernating. Well done. Happy New Year! ✌🏼
cannot double like? amazing film! I can't imagine the amount of hours it may take to edit it, but it's totally worth it. are you going to post some DVD extras for this one?
Superb fun episode. I too love the snow and winter. Sadly here in the UK, and with global warming, this is a thing of the past. And sadly my knees can't take the mountains any more.😭
Super cool video. I’m a snowmobiler at heart and this popped up in my feed. We are just south of Buffalo and no snow is a big bummer. We always travel north but nothing up there yet. Again great video and was nice to watch as an avid snowmobiler. Thanks!! Dave
You just up and drop a full length documentary on us on a random Friday!!! Also we need maybe a mid week video just on Chris and his bmx videos. As a former skateboarder those were some big ass rails and Chris was really good
I have enjoyed this video soooo much! I'm from Georgia, USA and we only WISH we had snow so we can do fun stuff like this! Chris' laugh is so contagious and it's awesome watching ya'll have so much fun. Happy New Year!
I’ve been finding myself checking the forecast waiting for snow in Buffalo to get back out there! You always know he’s having a good time when he’s laughing like that 😍
Absolutely incredibly made film - every aspect of this is amazing. It’s really been great to see your guys journey as filmmakers. And I’ve gotta say, as an Australian, I’m very jealous of your winters over there 😂
Absolutely loved this video and you guys did an awesome job creating it and such a cool adventure. Certainly make we want to try a new adventure that I have never done before. Can’t wait to see what is next for the journey.
Happy new year to you both. Just discovered your channel. Snowmobiling is definately one of my passions. Too bad you didn't make it too the gorge. Better luck next time. Loved this video .
Maybe I’ve missed it before, but I do not recall ever a mention of Chris being a shredder in a previous time. Also do not recall him ever dropping so many F bombs in a vid……love it!
Epic! so well done guys and always love seeing the adventures you guys are on. Love how you got to document this for us to follow along!!! Amazing stuff! Happy new year!
I’m jealous. I usually travel to the 49th state during the winter to enjoy what you’ve experienced. Way up there is a place I like to visit where I can hear myself breathe. Unfortunately I wont be able to go to my happy place for a while. Things changed at work thus my responsibilities grew 10 fold. Let’s just say I now am more responsible for the processing of “WZ” than before. Awesome video. Take care, be safe & talk to you soon 🚁
There’s nothing like being somewhere so quite you can hear yourself breath and your heart beating! Hope you get to visit your happy place again soon, thanks for taking care of WZ 😊
It may be a little cliche but it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. You didn't make it to the top but you still had a great time trying.
Loved it! Hope you're back to see the gorge from up top. I spend about 20 days each winter back country skiing in Gros Morne. So beautiful. And you'll have to go down into the Lomond (pronounced low- mund) sinkhole.
