I installed the 42.5 mm throttle body on a cb300. The Manual IACV is all the way to the left and its still idling at 5,000. All the way to the right it idles at 8,500. 😁 I'm using the 280cc (turquoise) Yuminashi injectors. The 360cc green injectors wouldn't work. I was wondering if I milled the IACV float piece 1-2mm if I'd get the idle to come back down to 2,000-3,000 rpm?
Could you or could you not put it on a different bike with a different ECU for tuning to give said different bike EFI if you could get the throttle body to fit or am I just being a idiot for thinking this
It's absolutely possible to use this throttle body, and use it on another bike (you might need to use a wiring loom then to connect the throttle body to the wiring harness of another bike). We ourselves are using this throttle body on a MSX/GROM125, Wave125, CRF110F, Z125 Monkey, C125 Super Cub, etc....
