I've had the same Tester & Manual by Lafayette NY since the 70's. Used it for 6v6's, sweep tubes, etc.

I had an EMC 212 transistor tester when I first started messing with electronics. I think it was in the late 1960s

We had most all brand available tube testers in the vintage radio museum, None were and good. I bet they seld lots of tubes !

I'd have thought they would have put in a 3V tap and rectifier for the transistor tester. 🤔

How come the 2 tubes had the same filament setting since one is 6 volts and the other is 12 volts?

d9 and d4 for filament settings, have no ideas what those two knobs do

I think the explanation is that the 12AU7 has a center tapped filament so it can be used with a 6 volt source. Probably the filament selector switch makes this connection. By the way, as a retired EE with 42 years experience, I greatly enjoy your videos.@@IMSAIGuy
