Waiting to see what crap the refs can think up to stop you from winning. The real question is which one is going to win - killer robots, killer reveal. Props to cameraman and editor.
Dude. I have no words. This is literally the best reveal I've seen in all of FIRST and VEX. I'm so hyped. And the robots are sheer engineering marvels.
If you dont want to be on the MC NoPcikList™ Make sure you head over to Hillock Anodizing™ to get your VEX™ Robot colored up! When you place your order make sure you tell them 169 The Calvary™ From the Haverford™ school sent you.
How close do you guys cut it on the amount of plastic (or whatever it is called) you can use? It seems like you have a lot, but not too much. Like, how do you keep track to make sure you don't have more than 1 sheet worth?
Most obnoxious video editing and sound balance ever. First of all the vid starts of with cliche letters flickering in tandem with the song - wow you can align sound and visuals good for you, but any outsider will tell you it’s pretentious and not fun to look at, the two phrases fading in and out would have been better. And then after that comes the shots of the bot - AGAIN obnoxious and annoying - if you are going to have so many close up shots at least have decent lighting it match it, and the funny thing is with each shot then followed by the overall picture of the bot, you can’t even tell what you just looked at, it all seems like a display of how many different “cool” looking angles you can get of the bot. Show us the interesting bot components, with each shot with a reference to the previous component shown, so we actually know what we are seeing. How ironic is it that you can have expensive film equipment yet fail in almost all regards to video editing?
Good luck at worlds this year from 8114! These robots have been insane all season and we know they will dominate worlds again. It is cool to finally being able to see the inside of the robot that destroyed PA all year. Try not to get disqualified this year though.
How do you make the back and the sides with the logo and the details? The one with the calvary and the other details? If it is a software designing, can you say which one it is? Also is it stickers or like actual print, because we want to add one to our robot. Thanks
@@slickm7 they had 1 match where they won originally but then they ended up losing the 2nd match because the other team claimed that their bot disconnected and they didn't make it into the finals..
Awesome video, really well made, awesome robot too! I know the song is catchy, but you may want to pay a bit more attention to the lyrics next time... (It's actually anti-robot because it's about a guy who lost his job to robots then out of rage gets a gun and threatens to kill people)

Yes, you are right sir I apologize for my editing not fitting to your palate. Perhaps I am focusing on different things than what you are looking for. Thanks for taking the time to type the response.
