She sounds so emotionally responsible and mature. She appeared to be very well prepared for her flight. That airport was busy, and she was also on center line the entire time, for takeoff and landing.

Our youth have so many problems these days -- it warms my heart to see a young lady with a serious interest, and supportive family and teachers.

She's setting herself up for a fantastic career so early. She's breaking barriers for aviators being of multiple underrepresented minorities in aviation and I'm all for it! Congrats to Kamora, her parents, and CFI for getting her to her first solo! Cheers to many many more!

I don't know you but I'm very proud of you I used to live in Long Island a long time ago when I was a little kid now I'm 61 I fly on the flight simulator but seeing you do your landing really makes me proud of you and I hope you continue your life in aviation and become a captain one day at a major airlines my dad worked for the airlines he was in the air cargo business I flew most of my young life and I love aviation and I also got involved in aviation by fueling jets at a little small private airport where I met a lot of pilots and I also loaded aircraft for delta airlines down in Melbourne FL an ending I would just like to say you go girl the sky 's the limit and I hope you have success in your life happy contrails.

Considering how many there are flying who shouldn't getting into accidents it was great to see a confident, young woman fly who actually knows what she is doing.

Excerpt from the poem High Flight by John Gillespie Magee Jr., a WW II Canadian fighter pilot. This is just the first and the last verse. The whole poem is definitely worth the time it would take to find it on the web. It was used as a sign off for many local TV stations when they shut down at night decades ago. I've heard it more times than I can count. While we're on the subject of hoodies, I would buy a UYA hoodie in a heartbeat. I bet I'm not the only one. You could put "Ground Crew" on it to distinguish it from participating members hoodies. Anyway, that's all I got. Cheers

Consider: in most states (USA) she is too young to operate a motor vehicle by herself on public roads. Yet she can operate an aircraft by herself, and does so quite well.
