I still think 17.5 2WD is the purest form of R/C racing... it should be on dirt/clay as well. (although I would love for there to be a carpet rack near me)
You could argue 540 silver can is the purest form but at the end of the day it doesn't matter, it's all RC Racing and all a hell of a lot of fun no matter what you run. Even a Tamiya Frog in some vintage class. Labelling classes purest just breeds division, our hobby needs unity
@@robertmckendry8670 we do need unity but not another class more then their is. on the other hand we need less classes to make it cheaper then buying new motors all the time to race half dead classes. we might have 17 13 and modified not 21 and all the other what ever it is.
@@robertmckendry8670 I guess I meant "purest" meaning back to the roots. Vintage stuff is fun, but not practical for racing on modern tracks. You need a track like RC Retro and his buddys (which would be awesome) 4WD Mod buggies are like taking an F1 car to your local go-cart track. :)
