Well done on your commentary and i always enjoy listening to your program and your vedios always on point..you don't miss a mark and you say it as you see it ..that's great and i like that
I am interested in the CBR600RR, but I hope the Yamaha R9 will appear soon - I got an 2023 MT-09 and that engine is a big beast. I am pretty sure they will use it in the R9 as well, maybe modified for a little more hp.
Slightly off topic, but anyone have a guess as to what class the R9 would race in... assuming it will eventually exist? We've already got R6 in supersport and R7 in twins?
Could be a Panigale V2 Rival? F3 800 maybe?.. The Triumph Daytona is no more so thats off the charts…. soooo i couldnr even say. It‘d be in a class completely of its own. But in all honesty, i‘d buy it. The R1 to me is tooo overkill for road use, plus i dont consider myself skilled enoigh to use it proper. The R7 would make me feel like a beginner again, so a Sportsbike with the sub 900cc three pot would be near perfect for my usw
@@Diemerstein haven’t even got mine yet. The shop had a robbery and the bike had slight damage. Power commander wasn’t working with the akropovic so now getting sent for a dyno tune. Mines anniversary colours. Can’t wait.
@@goatstix7750 The local dealer only had two available and they were on sale with $2k off, so I had to jump on it, my only choice was pearl white with silver and rode it home in 44 degree weather lol, but worth it.
XSR 900gp is phenomenal. I wasn't aware, so I'm blown away aesthetically. Finally a team of designers hit that retro itch. Bad A$$ Yamaha nailed it (again)
True bro, Kawasaki have always been on my list and they made a purple one which is my fav colour. Sadly, i am just a poor student with high dream. I wish one day i could buy one of my dream bike and have a memorable ride with it.
@@johnnyblue4799 in the realm of supersports and superbikes, power, and chassis design mainly. I dont really care about electronics, which is why i went gixxer. On top of them abandoning the 600’s like yamaha did. But with this it looks like theyre making a comeback bc it has a lot to offer with good power specs also. Really need to see how the chassis rides though
@@triyo1089 Suzuki also abandoned the 600 and the 750. In EU you either buy the Hayabusa, or the GSX 125R. The new 8R is a parallel twin, so I don't consider it a true supersport. So in EU the 600s available right now are Kawasaki and the Honda. The Honda was always a very good handling bike.
@@johnnyblue4799 i live in the states so theyre still selling the 600-750 lol eu is just eu your guys’ emission laws blow. Killing it for us to over here with the r6 not having a street legal version anymore lol
For many years, the S1000RR was the best. But is now beaten by the Honda CBR1000RR-R SP. Just have to say: Top speed 340 km/h stock on GPS. Speedo still 299
Cfmoto should really make a sport version of the new 800nx, which is heavily based on the duke. That’s the first time I’ve tried a cfmoto and found it actually fun, not just sensible. But year quite a few great bikes here, honestly spoilt for choices. The xsr stands out to me and I do like the two new 600s too! Only one I’m not sure about is the ninja 500. More torque sound good, same power at lower rpm sounds efficient… but they can also mean Ninja 400 motor was never boring and it’s important that the 500 doesn’t become so. Aprillia rs450 something are actually lively fun engines
That was a disappointing EICMA from Yamaha. The R1 and R3 are overdue for an update, and everyone's waiting for the R9... And they just showed an xsr with 90s-inspired plastics.
nah get rid of the R3 completley. just have the R125 and R7. there is absolutley no reason att all for anyone to ever get a R3. you don't need to start on such a slow bike it just makes it so much harder for you to learn. the R7 is plenty slow enough and safe enough for begginer riders. the MT-07 is litteraly the nr1 most popular begginer bike in Europe. what they can do and do actually do is make a normal R7 and then a R7 with factory A2 restriction. (A2 is european middle class bike with max power of 35kw /48hp) there is no reason to get anything smaller than the R7 because you can just restrict it to A2 and then take the restriction off once you got the full size license. and for US beggginers you can litteraly just restrict it to A2 on your own and ride it like that for a month or so and then go full power and grow in to it. much safer and you learn so much more so much faster.
@@savagememes873 keep in mind r3 and it's smaller r25 is very popular in asian markets. anything beyond 250cc around here is sometime far too ridiculous for an average working person. hell the annual insurance and roadtax sometimes cost as much as a month's pay.
I want to see these bikes: yamaha R9 for incredible street sports bike. Ninja 600, 90hp version of a ninja 400 with same weight and CP crank for chuckable urban warfare. CBR750F fully faired Hornet optimised for sport riding. Why are these taking SO long!
I really want the new Fireblade, but given, that I haven't ridden in years, I should probably go for the CBR600RR instead, if I decided to get back in the saddle next year.
Nah I'd still recommend the Fireblade. All new 1000cc bikes got lots of technology, if yous haven't been ridin in a while put it in low power mode or wet mode and yous is good to go, trust
@@moslem3906 That is true. And there is always the most important power control, my right hand. If I keep it under control and slowly easy into the power, I should be fine and relearn everything relatively quickly.
I get why manufacturers like them ( simple, low parts cost) & certainly not a bad choice for new riders who can’t deal with the challenge of a multi....but I can’t describe how uninterested I am to here about the latest release of yet another boring parallel twin “ sports” bike... 😡 (...wasnt a million years ago, when to be a “ sports bike” a 4 or a v-twin, or occasional triple or even better v-four- was mandatory...)...well done toKawasaki for the ZX-4RR 👍
Norton...125 Years....YEAH RIGHT!!!! They went belly up in the Seventies, name was sold many times but they still kept the clock ticking... TOTAL BS!!! F NORTON.
Anyone who is dumb enough to call going electric "green" should see how the materials for a battery are mined and realize what energy source power plants use to bring energy to most homes lol buying an electric vehicle does nothing to reduce a carbon footprint.
Well, once again, you completely forgot the Indian FTR 1200 Sport which is probably the best looking bike in the list next to the Norton. It also runs and hides from many of the sport bikes on this list and I know this because I have one. Little Cat delete, slip on and minimal tune that you can do at home and this bike literally feels like its in the 140 - 150hp range. Handles amazing, probably the best Hooligan naked bike on the market right now!
*200cc supersport *teen 1st timer *track day Yeah the demographics consists of 5 people. No manufacturer would cater to that minuscule of a customer base
there is no point in a 200cc supersport..... just get a R7. you don't have to start on a slow AF bike the R7 and honda 650s are plenty slow enough for begginers to start on and actually grow in to. the low CC begginers are progressing extreamly slowly with their riding skills because they bought a bike that is way to slow to actually learn on properly and get comfortable with actual bikes.
@chrissalmon1846 Technically? No it's not. It's a naked bike. All the Dukes are naked bikes. Sportsbikes have full fairings, low clip-on bars, and high rear sets.
Because of regulations. In some countries, the plate must be rear of the wheel. So instead of making different versions, they just make them all the same and leave it up to you to fit a tail tidy if you wish.
Honda is ruining the CB650R. They should make it awesome, not make it a beginner bike where you don't even need to use the clutch and it has a huge ugly cancer hanging off the side of the engine. Gross.
as a Kawasaki fan, the green company is making a HUGE mockery out of itself.with this bullshit small displacement going up up up till they go Duuuuuu 😮 we made this bike before. thumbs down fir kawasaki fir this. why dont you just upgrade the lovely ninja 400 ? to make it even better, lighter.no you have to introduce a bullshit 500 with the same power and , , , ,surely hippopotamys range wait
